Happened to go to the vet early am and forgot my coffee so I decided to stop here afterwards. WOW, the spot is super cute inside and has outdoor seating. Service was super good! Workers were nice and friendly! The worker was nice when I asked about the pumpkin spice latte and gave me her opinion on the drink. The pumpkin spice latte was a 10/10. I also got their breakfast sandwhich and it was good just had minimal salt, but that's normal for most breakfast places. It was good though once salt was added. I asked for a pup cup and they gave me one for a $1 charge. Also they have dog treats for free that you can just grab! Safe to say I will definitely be back. read more

Stop it this cafe is so cute! Perfect place to meet friends for brunch, work, or enjoy the scenery. It's across the street from a cute park and the Sunday we stopped by they had a little farmers market going on. The staff is really friendly and they have some good breakfast items for a quick bite. I went with a breakfast sandwich on an english muffin with pepper jack cheese and turkey sausage which was so good! Came out nice and hot, wasn't too salty and the cheese was perfectly melty. Cafe Noto is a cute and charming cafe in the heart of downtown Windsor. It's a locally family owned cafe serving black oak organic coffee, espresso, and may other non-espresso beverages. They have lots of different breakfast items to choose from such as the avocado toast, various breakfast sandwiches, a breakfast quesadilla, breakfast burritos, oatmeal, yogurt parfait, and frittatas. They are all delicious and I love knowing that I am supporting a local family business in the proccess. The service is excellent and the people that work here are very friendly. There is both indoor and outdoor seating so there is plenty of seating. It's a great place for meeting up with friends and hanging out over coffe and breakfast. It's also a great place if you have kids as well because they have several different kids drinks to chose from such as hot chocolate and it's next to a park and playground in downtown Windsor. If you come during the farmers market in the downtown area, you can explore this as well and grab some fresh items there. We were there today (Saturday) around 11am. Place was not busy at this time. They have lots of tables and chairs indoor. We ordered their cafe Americano for around 6 bucks. Their coffee was strong which we preferred and was very fresh. It was organic coffee from Healdsburg, California according to the server. Their coffee didn't have the Starbucks coffee bitter aftertaste, it was very good. They have plugs, wifi and the atmosphere was so relaxing, especially because Windsor town green park was just across the street. read more

I always love coming to a small cafe for some coffee and a bagel. Their bagels always take 10 or more minutes even when I'm the only one in there. To add to that, their bagel selection is always horrible and they're always out of them even at 8am. I just recently came in for a bagel and when I got it, there was just a thick block of un spread cream cheese. I politely went back up to the register and asked if they could spread it out more and all they did was add more. Horrible customer service and horrible bagels. read more

I absolutely love this place. We found it on an afternoon that we stopped into Windsor for lunch. The place we picked to eat at wasn't quite ready to open for the day, so we popped into this cafe for a quick drink. The interior is modern and welcoming, and the vibe is friendly and warm. The people behind the counter were awesome, and I loved the selection on their boards as well as behind the glass cases. I ordered a Ghost Mocha which was an awesome twist on a PSL, hubby ordered a drip coffee, and we split a piece of the princess cake which I SWEAR was Costeaux's. Once our drinks were ready, we took a seat and did some people watching. It was super interesting to me how many people were there with Sonoma County Library books, but the vibe was so inviting- I felt like I needed a book too! My mocha was delicious, and the flavors were exactly what I was looking for. Hubby downed his coffee like there was no tomorrow, and we equally vacuumed down the princess cake which was perfection. My wife ordered a latte with almond milk and only 2 shots instead of three with light ice as she doesn't like strong coffee. The cup came about 1/2 full and when my wife asked to add a little more almond milk, they said that is the right amount of milk and if she wanted more, it would be an extra $1 charge. You walk up and order your food but they bring it to the table. I had clam chowder and the shrimp tacos. Loved them both. Clam chowder was served with the clams in the shell so makes it feel really fresh. Shrimp tacos were delish, tasty sauce and shrimp was grilled to perfection. First let me say that I was not given anything in exchange for this review. I think it's unfortunate that situation happened because my gut is that this is an honest business trying to make an honest buck (and currently during some pretty dire financial circumstances). We checked it out last weekend. Service was wonderful--the young woman behind the counter was friendly and helpful. I had a coffee drink (five stars) and a bear claw (four stars). They are following the health and safety guidelines and I felt very safe there. There is ample outdoor seating, or you can do what we did and take a nice walk in the park across the street. The food is delicious. Great breakfast items! I got the jalapeño bagel dog. It was tasty! Surprisingly, not overly spicy, which was good bc I'd things are too spicy, I don't seem to enjoy the meal. I do like just a hint of heat though. I also got a concha (a Mexican sweet bread). I was surprised they had those here, but super happy that they did since concha's are my favorite sweet bread. I've been here several times as it is the only cafe in town. This place needs some competition. Cafe Noto is consistent in it's poor service, lack of cleanliness, and hot climate. If your customer base is ordering hot beverages, then it makes sense to keep the place cool, even if that means opening all the doors for a cross wind. Common sense. The tables are always dirty. There is almost never any music playing, so you sit at a dirty table you had to clean yourself, sweating up a storm, in awkward silence. And the baristas are almost never friendly. Pros- Cashier/barista was friendly. Lemon poppyseed muffin was great. Cons- coffee was ok, hot chocolate was awful (steamed milk and Hershey's syrup). Inside wasn't the typical inviting and relaxed atmosphere I prefer from a good coffee cafe. It was basic and sterile. We had to sit outside in the patio area, which was a bit breezy. We stopped by this little cafe on our way up to Redwood. It's nestled inside of Sonoma, right across a park where you can enjoy your coffee. The interior is simple and clean. Each table has a succulent, as decor that you can enjoy as you sip away. The actual espresso itself was quite tasty. The flavors were bold, and had a unique profile. I was very disappointed by the rude cashier who was rude to myself as well as my friend. When asked if I would like room in my Americano and I requested a splash of soy milk, he said he was going to charge me one dollar for a splash of soy milk because soy milk is so expensive. That is absolutely ridiculous. Then when I got my coffee, there was hardly any soy milk in it at all. Anywhere else that I go for coffee and ask for a splash of soy milk as creamer I do not get charged..... I would definitely not go back because the coffee wasn't even good...... read more

Local cafe along the Town Green that is my new favorite place to go for coffee and bagels. I live nearby and enjoy my walk over on the weekend--their coffee is great (I've only had their light roast so far) as well as their curbside seating. The pastries and breads all look delicious which means I'll have to keep stopping by to explore the menu. Also, I can tell that the owner is very passionate about their products and customer experience as she goes out of her way to make sure your drinks and food are fresh and promptly made all with a smile and welcoming vibe. Here in Windsor you have your choice. I had time and wanted to explore the downtown so I chose here. So Glad I did!! While not busy when I visited I can assume they are bustling in the morning. Centrally locates bear shops and a beautiful park, their space is open and selection vast. Coffee, tea, "Cup of Love" and "Golden Milk". Breakfast burritos, quiche, pastries and even gluten free goodies... But the best part? My latte was *on point* Not gonna lie, wasn't sure what I'd get at 3pm on a Monday holiday.. and places like this can be hit or miss. I Know because I've been to plenty of both. But, all that being said, my coffee as very very good. Nothing burnt, overly extracted, or off putting about it. Love this little coffee cafe! Met some great locals here, Tabatha and her husband Doug and they gave us some great tips on wineries and Craft breweries. Now about Cafe Noto, great little coffee house if your are looking for nearby flavor versus the chain coffee houses. Stop in and stay a while. It's a little run down and not the cleanest but they offer great artisan coffee, breakfast sandwiches and pastries. This place is where the locals go so you will see lots of people that know each other and visiting. I was here for 5 days and visited this place 2 times although I might have forgotten to check in. I ordered a croissant and chai. The croissant was super fresh and tasted great warmed up. The only way you can mess this up if it was stale and it was not. The chai was nice but I like it more spicy. I will visit Cafe Noto again on my next visit to Sonoma. read more

Totally underwhelmed. Considering its the only locally owned coffee shop in the area, I expected more. Considering the Santa Rosa Cycling Club recommends riders go out of their way to stop off here, one would assume that they wouldn't give me a blank look when I asked to have my cookies on a plate and my coffee in a ceramic cup for here/not to go dressed in cycling gear head to toe. (I certainly know where YOU can put it.) Very little in the display case looked very interesting for an afternoon sweet fix. Come to think of it, the remaining morning baked goods looked like they came from a really lousy strip mall donut shop. Atmosphere is what one would expect from a local cafe. Unfortunately if one has no patrons hanging out there on a lazy Saturday afternoon, there's minimal ambiance. They make jokes on their blackboard about no Starbucks speak allowed.
