I arrived at 9:06pm. The middle lobby smelled great. It wasn't a desert smell but very pleasant yet surprising. It was like the small of a fancy hotel lobby. In the main area, there was an online pickup area but I didn't see anything. There. My order wasn't ready yet and they hadn't even started on it until I told them I was picking up an order. I received my order at 9:09pm. Staff were friendly and I enjoyed the donuts. One of my chocolate covered donuts was more of a chocolate lined donut, lol. I tried the new strawberry pop-tart donut and I enjoyed it.

She then tells me "oh im not ready for you yet". When I do finally order and get the donuts and move out of the way for others, the whole 2 dozens are cold not hot. Went to grab items for dinner and have seen the "check cashing" signs every time I've been in. You see I live in Sims and work in Fuquay. I'm a bartender who was recently affected by the global pandemic that shut down my place of business. Times are hard. For everyone. I have my last paycheck of 91$ drawn on Fidelity Bank. Fidelity bank has a dozen locations in and around the Raleigh area. I went to the counter where I always buy cigarettes and lottery tickets and asked if I could cash my check. It's a Sunday, my bank is closed and groceries were needed as I've been out of work for nearly a month. The nice young lady paged PETE to the front. I waited. Pete came, snatched the check, looked at it, and said " fuquay is outside my area" and while I was in the middle of explaining I only work there and live here... he turned around and walked off. Quite rude. Quite unprofessional and most inhospitable. You see I too work in the retail/hospitality industry. The Matthews family, who owns this store, are letting the most rude, vile creature represent them, and their brand by allowing Pete to treat customers this way. We've been shopping there for years. These are extraordinary times. I don't always expect to be told yes, but an explanation would have been nice. So Pete, do you only cash checks drawn on banks in Bailey? Just in Nash Co? What are the parameters? Was I turned away because you've never been to Fuquay? I would've gladly paid a check cashing fee and spent the entirety of this 91$ in your store. Your attitude needs an adjustment sir. And the store needs a more hospitable face to represent them during these dire times. A little kindness goes a LONG way. From now on I won't stop to see Jerry and Blake and the rest of the crew who are AMAZING, I'll drive to Wilson, to Food Lion. Gas well spent not to ensure Pete and his crass, sharp, attitude still have a job. If you can drive further to avoid this store please do. Management is unwilling to help, or even communicate with you. If you like being treated like you do at WalMart, drive on to WalMart and save money. It was $2.06 per at the time of pumpage which ain't bad since I'm paying give or take at least an extra quarter a gallon more in the gas tax kingdom of PA so, Hell Yeah! on this one. Did I trip over any random tire shards, radiator parts or left behind wing nuts? No runs, no hits and no errors. Easy on/off to the highway/road of my choosing? Not terribly hard to find off of 795, maybe a mile or so. It was mid-afternoon on a Sunday and the pumps were busy the same as the store. I didn't want to wait for a pump but I did because when you're low on gas and in an rural area where the church to gas station ratio is give or take 10:1, you make due. Human intervention needed?
