Went to KK to buy a dozen donuts and get a dozen from my rewards and the girl working the drive thru was not friendly at all. I'm not sure why they had their front doors locked and the order inside shut down but you could only go thru the drive thru. Once I got to the order speaker she said she couldn't hear me because our vehicle wasn't straight enough for her to hear me. So I change places with my husband and I get on driver side. She then tells me "oh im not ready for you yet". When I do finally order and get the donuts and move out of the way for others, the whole 2 dozens are cold not hot. I placed a Mobile order for an assorted dozen at 8:58pm on a Friday evening. In the app, I saw a coupon in app for $5 off which prompted me to get a dozen versus a 3 pack lol. I arrived at 9:06pm. The middle lobby smelled great. It wasn't a desert smell but very pleasant yet surprising. It was like the small of a fancy hotel lobby. In the main area, there was an online pickup area but I didn't see anything. There. My order wasn't ready yet and they hadn't even started on it until I told them I was picking up an order. I received my order at 9:09pm. Staff were friendly and I enjoyed the donuts. One of my chocolate covered donuts was more of a chocolate lined donut, lol. Great customer service. I was taking advantage of a special via their app. Clerk was polite and did my transaction with a minimal wait. The store interior is clean and neat. Always great customer service every time I come here. Also, their donuts are so delicious every time I buy some here. Furthermore, I use their Krispy Kreme App to order ahead and pay for them a few minutes before arriving. Once here, just go to the drive thru and tell them you have a mobile order and they always have them ready at the window. How easy is that? I have never had a problem here. I'm a big Krispy Kreme fan and since moving to Greenville i have never had a worse experience with food quality at one of their locations. This one never has anything in stock besides glazed anytime i go there after 3 pm. Service is lack luster, i get its a minimum wage job but they act like its the worst experience of their lives working there. And when they do have donuts in stock they will skimp out on sprinkles or any other accessory to a donut making it look like it was a reject donut on its way to the land of misfit toys. read more

Poor service, We were not greeted at the counter and although first in line, two customers behind us and a door dash driver were waited on before us. There was a fly in the food case and the counter person had on dirty gloves. This person also went back and forth between the register and handling food with the same gloves on. We ordered "hot" so ours came from the line already boxed. They were out of regular coffee at 6pm on a Sunday evening. We were asked to leave the lobby because there were not enough staff, however employees were standing around talking when we exited. The counter person seemed to be inadequately trained; unable to manage the register, overcharged us and had to ask for assistance. The person who helped was rude and seemed frustrated. As matter of fact, it think this particular location is the reason why I'm so addicted to Krispy Kreme's donuts. For many many semesters (I think for as long as I was in school,) especially during mid-term and final, I spent many nights on the couch seat here, drinking the bold brew, and burning the midnight oil. Older gen. might remember this, K.K. used to run a 1-2-3 Pirate Special? Two donuts, one coffee, three dollars. Oh those were the best years. I went to this location on 10th street and they had an attitude when we asked if we could get the free doughnuts for graduation. I usually love Krispy Kreme original donuts. I came here on Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, hot donuts were not available. We had several originals, cinnamon, and chocolate topped originals. They all tasted very old. I almost asked for microwaving the donuts for 8 seconds. The employee was grumpy- I don't want to be here face was very obvious. Service needs to be improved.
