We came looking for local coffee roaster and came upon this cute place. Doesn't have a lot of seating but the coffee was good. They offer variety of pastries and lots of flavors you could add to your beverage. It's not just coffee they have teas as well. I had a caramel macchiato and coffee had rich flavor.. much better than Starbucks! They only had 2 sizes of coffee and large was not as tall as venti from Starbucks. It's a small storefront but quaint. Service was fast and the server was very nice and helpful. I would definitely come here again if I'm in area. Convenient to uptown so you can sip your coffee while walking sidewalk seeing all shops in the area!

Nice quaint coffee shop, nothing too out of the ordinary but nice and convenient to ECU and in downtown Greenvillle. Decent coffee, they also give you options on adding different flavors. Was hoping for latte art but I think this is more of a quick stop and go place. Their coffee beans were pretty good though.

As a 10+ year ECU alumni, I love going back and seeing how much downtown has grown! We've come a long way since then and so has Greenville! There are so many cute shops and restaurants downtown including this awesome coffee house. I had some time to kill before a wedding one Saturday morning, so I brought a book and posted up at Blackbeard. There are LOTS of syrups to choose from and I highly recommend getting a latte "for here" because they serve it in a huge mug. I love the decor and the lighting is perfect for reading or studying. I wish Blackbeard was around back when I was in school! I would have loved coming here in college. Just what 5th street needed in my opinion! I liked it so much, we even came back the next day as we headed out of town. Highly recommend.

I got a large mocha with whip cream and a chocolate cookie. Both were delicious! The mocha was incredible one of the best ones I've had, tasted just like chocolate milk but not overpoweringly sweet. Very fairly priced. Good calm ambiance, perfect for studying or catching up with a friend.

Stop sitting in the Starbucks drive thru, and instead take a few extra minutes to stop into Blackbeard's a few miles away. Their cold brew is an awesome blend with tons of flavor and definitely try the salted caramel cookie. They even have an iced pour over if you have a little time to relax and wait for way better coffee than those chain places. Great little place with great LOCAL coffee !

Easily one of the best coffee shops in Greenville. Lots of really great options and the baristas love creating something based on your likes. We really love coming here.

I don't shop at Whole Foods a lot, but if I crave something different or new I always go here first. One of my personal favorites here is the olive bar where you can mix and match anything you want in any quantities you want. Cheese selection is also outstanding, so for a charcuterie board essentials this is the place to go! Prepped food is also quite good, though not cheap. The coffee bar however is pretty good, always fresh and a latte is just $3.50. Pair that with a cookie bar (again, mix and match anything you want!) and you have a great coffee shop alternative with a variety of treats!

Such a great atmosphere to walk the isles and enjoy a coffee while you shop. I had stopped in to this location for a Blueberry scone and coffee and thought I'd grab a few extra for a road trip my wife and I were taking the next day. After I purchased them and they were in a paper bag for a short time, the bag was almost covered in grease and I'm like, this is what we are eating?!?! I had no idea and was shocked at this. Makes me re-think the WF thing and what I'm really getting here. Don't get me wrong, we still have a Love for WF and many of their offerings, but will be more careful and try to "know" more before buying.

There's plenty of seating, and the menu offers a lot more than just coffee -- with options ranging from craft coffee to beer and wine. I ordered a cortado, which was exactly the late-afternoon pick-me-up I needed. I had to take it to go (never the ideal way to enjoy a cortado), but it was still well prepared and nicely balanced. I also tried one of their seasonal drinks, the Bee Stings Latte -- an iced latte with honey, ginger, turmeric, and a little cayenne kick. It was a really unique combination and surprisingly refreshing. The spice and honey gave it a comforting, almost restorative feel -- the kind of drink that would be perfect if you're feeling a little under the weather or dealing with sore joints. My wife ordered the Raspberry Beret, an iced matcha with raspberry purée and white chocolate. Her verdict: the best matcha she's ever had. Between the creative drinks, solid coffee, and laid-back atmosphere, Full Bloom is a great spot in Garner whether you're settling in for a while or just grabbing something on the go.

My only complaint that I watched all my friends get theirs in beer glasses but mine came in a small container -__- I assume this may be the regular mimosa glass but I disliked the consistency and equality. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We sat upstairs, which was a decent sized area with great lighting and local art. Overall, it's a nice establishment in downtown Garner.

We were the only customers there for that period. Parking was easy and the shop was quiet. There were a handful of pastries wrapped in plastic which did not look particularly fresh and therefore we did not order. There were a handful of sandwiches in the fridge which were obviously premade that made us wonder how fresh they were and so we also did not order. The barista poured us a plastic cup of water to share. The butcher block table that we sat at was high quality as were the chairs. The decoration in the window of small air plants hanging in each window was understated and charming. We likely will not be back thru no fault of the shop. We live 23 minutes away in North Raleigh. This is all to say it was a bit of a trek all the more notable for what i would say was a simple if high quality experience.

At night, Coffee & Spice stands out from the road due to the beautiful string lighting in the patio area. The parking lot is behind the restaurant. The sidewalk from parking lot will take to you to the patio seating if you go left and to the restaurant if you go right. Upon arrival, we asked to be seated outside because the weather was nice and I was making a call; it was a bit noisy inside. We waited outside for about 5 minutes for the waitress to come back and get seated. She brought 2 waters. After being seated, I ordered candied yams as an app. It took about 10 minutes to arrive. The candied yams, which comes on top a buttermilk biscuit, was tasty! I think my only complaint would be that there was inconsistency in taste. To add, I wish there was more bacon throughout as it really balances out the the other sweet flavors, in my opinion. Or maybe I'm just a bacon lover and wanted to have some of the bacon flavor with each bite. Nonetheless, I ended up eating it by myself bc my bf didn't like it. When I made Exec Chef Quan aware, he said others have said the same thing but opted not to because of the fat back already utilized and its essentially meant to be on the sweeter side, which I understand. Around 8:40pm, I ordered a strawberry lemon drop (alcoholic beverage) and the Crispy Turkey Wing. I got regular honey instead of the hot honey, because I'm not a fan of spicy food. My bf ordered a Mule and the Turkey wing also. The drinks came out about 5-7 min later after ordering. The strawberry lemon drop was DELIGHTFUL! My bf enjoyed his mule. The food came around 9:03pm. The Turkey wing was crispy and delicious. I think the grains that it came with needed some salt, but my bf said it's because I didn't get the sauce and the sauce added flavor. It looked nutritious and didn't taste bad. It could just be my palate, lol. We ended up going inside because of bugs, which is a part of nature and is to be expected. However, once inside, our waitress never checked on us and another waiter finished taking care of us for the evening. I will note that I did feel slightly rushed at the end. The waiter asked if he wanted dessert after he brought our boxes but he also had the bill in hand. What if I said yes? Why not wait to know for sure or ask if we're ready for the bill? To be transparent and impartial, our initial waitress was Alisha. I found out towards the end of my visit that Alisha is also one of the owners. While my experience, overall, was one of no major complaints, I did not like the lack of communication regarding who would be taking care of us. With it being the end of the night and/or having other obligations, I can understand needing to do other stuff. However, I feel it would only be "right" to say she's the owner, has things to do, and introduced the person who would taking care of us. In reflecting, she never introduced herself at all in the beginning, which should be a standard, even without mentioning that she's the owner. In my experience, owners who are present check in on customers to check in and to receive feedback, positive or negative. Nonetheless, teamwork was executed flawlessly. We never went without. Quan assisted us in the transition inside. I MUST add that another waitress, "Icy", was on point! While we were outside, I could tell she was working her ass off. I must give her praise! On Several occasions, she checked on us asking if we were good from the time we were standing waiting to be seated, all the way to bringing out our entrees. I frequently saw her running back and forth from outside to inside. Her dedication to providing the best customer service was highly exemplified! Inside, there are about 9 indoor tables plus a bar area that faces outside. The inside tables had lit candles on them them, which contributed greatly to the ambiance of the restaurant. There are two bathrooms feature barn doors and are gender neutral. Upon walking it, the aroma was pleasant. I then noticed a lit candle. One bathroom has a frame with 4 deeds on it. I inquired about the significance and Alisha stated it was the deed to the house and went on to explain the history of the home and the items on the wall. It's a great story that I recommend inquiring about! Overall, the restaurant is ravishing. I loved the decor, especially the aromas with the candles. The food was delectable. Customer service, overall, was satisfactory with teamwork being a highlight. I love that the menu changes regularly, with only a few items that remain constant. There will always be something new to try! For an app, two entrees, and two alcoholic beverages, it was about $60. If you haven't already, stop by and give them a try!
