This place was clean. After that, there's not much to recommend. This is a uniquely small McDonald's and I went in to just get an egg McMuffin and a coffee and stood there for about a minute with no one even noticing that I was there. As captain Quint would say "not too good is it chief?" I then went through the drive-through and I added a star because an absolutely delightful older man took my order and made my day with a funny line McDonald's don't score high anyway just because they're McDonald's, but this one is a little bare bones read more

Guy on the headset was extremely disrespectful tonight. I Understand they only had 1 cook working but that did not mean they needed to be disrespectful and rude. Was just trying to order and he was on the headset saying things like" omg bro seriously", "are you done yet", "what do you want". Then in the middle of ordering our food said " just pull up to the window" and stopped talking to us through the headset. Got to the window had to finish ordering but still ended up missing 3 food items. Worst service I have ever experienced at this McDonald's and won't be going back after this. read more

If I could give this place less than one star, I would. I ordered a 6 piece with a small fry, and waited TWENTY FIVE MINUTES. The fries came out cold. Unless you are on the verge of starvation, avoid this location. Absolute trash. read more

McDonald's - There is food on the floor and on two tables. - Burgers Near Me - Williamsburg, Michigan

We asked for three burgers and a 20 piece nugget what I got was not that well it was but we ordered a burger with ketchup, mustard and extra pickle no cheese we got cheese and two pickles The Mc double that we ordered was regular Mc double it had it was a bacon Mc double that we got the over salted a burger I don't know how you can over salt a burger in the service we asked for a slushy a Michigan mix the lid wasn't even on so when my mom grabbed it from the lady, it burst open and spilled everywhere on my mom's purse her lap, her leg the side of her car we gave us two buffalo sauces for 20 piece. McNugget you need at least 3 to 4 and they forgot the buffalo sauce to begin with. They didn't even get tartar sauce and gave my mom one packet of ketchup when she asked for like five cause I don't know they were out of ketchup somehow so she asked if her mom wanted a different sauce. It was the worst McDonald's I've ever been at my entire life. I wouldn't be surprised if the 20 McNugget was secretly a burger. What do you mean that the burger was over salted. There was cheese on the burger that we asked for specifically no cheese in it was a bacon McDuff and we asked for McDowell. I don't even understand how you can do that. It's an order get it right please. It's like one of the smallest winds in life is no scratch. The smallest. One of the biggest wins in life is to have a perfectly good McDonald's order there wasn't messed up at all. That's like one of the biggest winds you could ever have. It's like asking for a car is the same thing as asking for a good order from McDonald's. read more

Place was trashed empty how to wait five minutes just for a coffee and milkshakes horrible McDonald's never come again we're out of iced tea and iced coffee what the heck! Seven times can't get the order right even once nasty attitude calling customers a liar when the customer has two receipts with them proving what they ordered Said it takes longer to make a sandwich without onions and just being a total nasty person in general by the way that fast food was over 30 minutes for two breakfast sandwiches read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Absolutely terrible customer service, rude employees, disgusting place to walk into. I had a very simple order of a snack wrap with a special request to add pickles. They neglected to ask any questions about it.. when they called my order out I told them they never asked about it then the lady said in a rude voice "what is it then". After telling her calmly I wanted some pickles to simply be out on the wrap, she then gave attitude while walking away. This place has terrible customer service and I would not recommend this place. read more

First - if I could give negative infinity starts, I would. Second - I have traveled all over the country and visited McDonalds in many my travels, this is 1000% hands down THE WORST McDonalds in EVERY way possible. I just moved here, and my very day that I rolled into town, after driving 5 days and my last day driving 9 hours, and on way to my new home after dropping off the U-Haul, in the snow in the beginning of Feb., I stopped here because it was late, I was tired and had no food. I was appalled at how (a) slow the service was (b) how rude the employees ARE and (c) how unappetizing the food was. Despite the aforementioned, I decided to give them another try, this time just for something as simple as ice cream cone for my dog. I have been giving McDonalds ice cream cones to my dog for 10 of the 11.5 years of his life, this particular ice cream cone gave him the runs so bad, it was crazy. Well, today 4/10/2025 at about 12:00pm I rolled in to the drive through because we (my dog and I) had just walked about 3 miles, then did a few errands and I did not want to make lunch for myself (I will never let my dog eat that shit again), well guess what? Low and behold, guess what??? This McDonalds did NOT disappoint -- they were just as shitty as ever. Cold, tasteless, sloppily put together sandwich and unsalted fries and $10 down the drain again. Lesson learned. Buyer beware - you have been warned. read more

I have to say this is hands down the best location in TC. Every time I come here they are professional repeat back the order everything is always correct. Today I went through and ordered ahead on the mobile app (has the best coupons!) and selected to pick up through the drive through. It was simple and they ended up not being able to add the espresso shot to my coffee because the espresso maker was not working. Initially I was upset but the manager made it a point to apologize repeatedly and then she gave me the option to get the money back or have a cookie! I chose the cookie! She handed it to me and continued to apologize! The cookie was fresh warm and gooey! Thank you to everyone who was on staff today! You made my morning :) read more

I just ordered coffee. Cannot go wrong with coffee. I got sf vanilla in my coffee, but I forgot to ask for creamer. I survived though. I rode my snowshoes over to goodwill to drop some items off. My coffee was still nice and hot when I returned. The Goodwill is only .25 mi away. Freaking cold out, hot coffee hit the spot. read more

The lady taking money at the drive through on 10/17/24 at 9:45am ripped me off and didn't give my correct change. I should have gotten $11.63, but she only gave me $6.63. Don't use cash here!! read more

Only gave me 3 strips when i ordered 4, and spilled my fries in the bag. I got some extra sauces though i guess.

The drinks taste like sewer water. How does my coke taste like piss? I wish I got a refund for my drink.

This restaurant didn't have toilet paper in the Men's restroom today at 2 PM. That's a basic service and it wasn't attended to. I had to literally use a paper towel that was left on the ground. Thank you so much for that, McDonalds of Houghton Lake. It completely ruined my day and embarrassed me. 1/5 read more

I am so disappointed! The speaker wasn't working so I went up to the window. I explain to them that the speaker wasn't working there was a mile and a half of cars behind me. I apologize so many times because I understand that they are really busy. The woman says oh no problem and has me take my order and move up so I'm out-of-the-way and they continue to finish up whatever orders they have. Somewhere between 5 to 10 minutes I am still waiting someone finally comes out with my food they charged me for two frappe's. I told the girl that I only wanted one and she wouldn't take it back so whatever I guess I have two frappe's. My food is cold. They waited until every single car went through the drive-through to even bring my food. That's it I'm never coming back here. I would rather drive the extra mile to go somewhere else! read more

Came here after a 12 hour work shift, checked to see if they were open online, and there were cars in the drive through as we arrived. Waited 5 mins to get food order together. Pulled up to order and they said they were closed, even though it was only 11:30, drive another 15 mins to another McDonalds and passing back by there were more cars in the drive through being served on! Really disappointed. read more

I went through the drive thru with my boyfriend a couple weeks ago and we got home to eat our dinner, he had a big mac which was slopped all over the box and missing ingredients! I had nuggets and when i went to eat them they tasted like they were weeks old! The fries were so old the were cold and stiff very chewy! When i called no one anwsered and it went to voicemail, i left a voice mail of what i have experienced and i still have yet to recieve a call back. Very poor customer service and food service! I would never recommend this place! Also two times before this we found egg shells in our breakfast sandwiches! read more

Hot food, fast service, polite employees. Even for my relatively small order, the workers were even faster than usual.

We love McDs....when you get a craving you just gotta have it! And those craving usually hit at like 10:00 at night! We love only five minutes from this McDonalds so that's a plus. But unfortunately it's hit or miss with customer service and quality of food. Sometimes the employees are super friendly and other times they are half checked out not paying attention. Sometimes the food is awesome....when your craving bad for you fast food it better be dang good!!! And other times the fries are only half full. And in the summer 50% of the time their McFlurry machine is broken so when those Reese's McFlurry cravings hit....ya never know if you'll be able to get one or not. read more

The MOST disgusting McDonalds we have ever been to. Dirty bathrooms, dirty tables, dirty floor. Our chicken nuggets looked grayish brown - my kids wouldn't eat them. The place should really be closed. read more

I put one star because had to, this McDonalds is a zero. Staff is unfriendly, terribly slow and screwed my take out order for the 3rd time in row today. Left message at 10 a.m. , at 3 I called back and got assisted manager- he of course said just about to call you. What a joke. Bring your receipt and I will give you food you did not receive - seriously?? Said this was the 3rd time in row this happened, basically mentioned systems to make it better but did not offer to address my problems. When asked if I could get gift certificate he said have to call GM. I am local and will NEVER go to this McDonalds again. Stay away folks. read more

I pass right by this McDonald's every day and visit any of the other McDonald's because the english muffins are always burnt and the mcgriddles are always crunchy from being over cooked and most of all because, while all other McDonald's have any size coke for 1.00 this one chooses to sell them for 1.29. read more

Probably one of the worse experiences i've ever had at any fast food place! i made my order which were separate. The person taking my order must of been new because she didn't separate my orders, as i was ordering breakfast for a friend who was currently working also using two coupons. Lady at the pay window was rude and made it seem as if i was lying and it was my fault that it didn't say what i meant on the screen. She gives me the discount, with of course a snide comment. I was thankful still and kind to her! Then as i'm pulling forward I hear her start to talk crap about me! I was in No way or shape rude or ungrateful! Use the drive thru at the McDonald's by Meijers. Ordered the quarter pounder meal. The only thing that was decent was the coke that came with the meal. The bun on the burger was so dry it broke a part. And even the over use of ketchup didn't make it moist. The bun fell completely apart. The frys were either rubbery or not cook through. I understand it's a fast food restaurant, but they do advertise that their new way of cooking the burger is so much better. Sad. Think the corporate office should take a look at this restaurant. read more

So I stopped into the drive thru this morning to get a breakfast burrito and a large Diet Coke, well I must say that the McDonald's stores in Traverse City are the most expensive ones around I've been to but anyway there was a typed up letter taped onto the ordering sign that states that the water products are not available due to water issues, not sure what this means, could be lead contamination or something like that, well who really knows but what gets me is that the most expensive McDonald's store in Traverse City cannot keep their water system up to par? Not to get off the subject. Anyway they give out bottled Diet Coke however it states 16.9 FL OZ when a large fountain drink Diet Coke is supposed to be 32 FL OZ's according to the web site, this is just another way the owner of these stores is getting into your wallet at all angles. By the way, this owner happens to own "ALL" of the Traverse City stores. Greedy? You decide! read more

Honestly this place was just cheap. Who in their right mind would believe that for just one dollar you can get not one but two "beef" patties. The workers seem like they have no knowledge of anything at all. They have many tattoos and also appear to be the product of inbred parents. I ordered the double cheeseburger medium rare and unsalted fries. There was hardly even a wait for the food which concerned me. The first few bites of my burger tasted like pure char and bad decisions. It left a poor taste in my mouth that reminded me of my childhood. The pickles were below grade and were very soggy, creating an overall poor texture. The beef was clearly overcooked even with my medium rare request. Extremely dissapointed with my sad excuse of a burger. Next for the fries. What a weird experience. Some fries were soggy and some were harder than my rock hard cock. It was like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get. At the bottom of the box I found several midget looking fries which really pissed me off. I'm not sure if this was on purpose but it was really a bag over the head punch to the face. Crumbs. These were crumbs. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was quite discouraging. It felt dirty and I am a clean person who showers several times a day. As soon as I got back to my ranch I had to hit the outhouse. It was like lava coming out. Absolutely terrible. read more

Worst experience ever at a McDonald's. We waited nearly 30 minutes for three egg white delight meals--no specs. The manager was not managing. I've been to thousands of Mc Donalds in my 60+ years with continued satisfaction. This store will never be in that category! OMG where do I begin. The counter staff were more interested in talking to each other than waiting on customers. The kitchen. Which can clearly be seen by me was a mess. The floor was dirty, littered with food notably French fries. Boxes on shelves were hanging off shelves with the contents falling out..i.e. boxes for burgers and French fries. The counter service was amazingly slow. Every customer had a longer than usual wait time. With my simple order, I asked for 3 chocolate chip cookies. The little boy behind the counter said he would bring them out to my table. He never did. After eating my food and still had no cookies. I went to the counter, waited another 5 minutes to remind them of said cookies. After 10 minutes, I finally decided to forget it. It would be easier to just give me my dollar back. I took my $1.06 and left. Never to return. THE END read more
