They need to be more descriptive on their bread options. I ordered the Wheat, and thought it would be as a Wheat sub...not a freak'n sandwhich cut in half. The description just says Sliced Wheat! Also, I see Jimmy Johns STILL does not offer any olives! WHY? What Sub place does not offer any Olives for their subs. I totally agree with Mike R.review. And if you ask nicely for more mayonnaise or anything like that, they would be happy to get you more of those in little packets. To be fair, it has been years since I had Jimmy John's. The food was good, but not what I was hoping for. My wife and I ordered the Tom Turkey subs, but we didn't know that when we asked for wheat, that it would be on regular sandwich bread, and assumed it would be a sub roll. My mistake and added that you can't do an option for toasting a sub or sandwich, I won't get JJs again. There are other sub places with better menu options. I feel really disappointed with JJs. I ordered a pickup during busy lunch time, after the gentleman at the register finished his decently long line, he was attentive enough to ask my name to get my order to me right away even though I was waiting off to the side not paying much attention, I was not in a rush but it was very nice to be taken care of so quickly even during their busiest time. I ordered delivery from JJ's after a long day and a wardrobe error on my work trip. (I forgot to pack shorts....ugh) The service was as advertised, very quick. For Vegans you can easily order online and omit the various dairy products. The options to add more veggies and toppings are quite nice (mmm sprouts), and can accommodate many tastes. They even have lettuce wraps instead of bread. My sandwich was tasty, delivered quickly and fresh. My only disappointment was I thought I ordered a sub, but my sandwich was on regular square bread. I order from Jimmy John's frequently from other locations using the app without a problem. This location is not well managed. Tables were dirty, floor unswept. Nothing on pick up shelf when I arrived. There were 4 people behind the counter, so they weren't short staffed. No other customers in the place. The person at the order counter was Interviewing someone for a job. How professional. Stood waiting behind them for 5-7 minutes. Frustrated, I went back to the pick up counter. Waited there another 5 minutes. Looked over the counter and saw my name on the bag and took it. Still interviewing person when I walked out. No one asked if they could help me, place an order, pick up an order. Nada. To top it all off, the order was wrong. Don't bother using the app here. read more

I like Jimmy John's a-ok. I don't have much to say other than: it's fast, it's fresh, and it's customisable so you can get out of there with a relatively healthy meal option. Sandwiches come on bread or as 8 inch subs. There's also a salad wrap option for those concerned about carbs (IT'S BATHING SUIT SEASON IN TC AFTER ALL!). I like the #16: turkey with bacon. I prefer the meat here to Subway, and Jimmy John's has done a recent push towards 'all natural' meats. The bacon is always extremely crisp, which I appreciate. The kids working the counter (truly: kids, I'm not saying that to put 'em down) are friendly and generally competitive when jamming as many hot peppers as they can into my sandwich. Appreciated, guys. My only main grumble is that they don't have dill pickles as options for their subs. You can't have it all but, my oh my, do I think my turkey could use a briney complement. The last sub I had took 1.5 hours. It was suppose to be a extra roast beef full sub. It had 1 slice of beef, the bun was so stale even my dog wouldn't chew it. The rest of sub was so soggy the bread melted in your hand. Their iced tea was old and probably moldy in the brewer. Had to dump it out. All this for $22.75. No thank you. read more

Pretty tasty sub, I'll say. I had the #6 today, I was new to the Jimmy John's sandwich world. Ordering was easy enough. It was hard for me to choose between the turkey and the veggie. Ended up going with the veggie because it had avocado, any day go with the avocado. I still don't know if they have a variety of breads, a la subway, but I thought the bread was alright. Guess I'm sorta a carb snob. One of my tomatoes was kinda on the mush side, but I understand fresh tomatos in chains can be chancey. I really appreciated that I caught them and was able to ask for no mayo, since I forgot to mention that while ordering. My mouth/stomach is a no mayo zone, with very few exceptions. Overall, the avocado made the sandwich. It was huge and filling, since I didn't do the combo for 2 more dollars, it was a simple and filling lunch at 4.50$! Not too shabby. read more

The subs are ok. I frankly think Subway's are better (not that that's saying much). Really, JJ's only advantage is delivery. And fast delivery, at that. In that department, they are aces. So why the 2-star rating? It's the chronic mistakes they make. We order JJ's often, simply bc they are a relatively healthier fast food choice, and unlike Subway, they deliver. The problem is -- and I am *not* exaggerating -- they mess some part of our order up AT LEAST 2 out of every 3 times. Their staff just do not pay close enough attention to the tickets -- and these are online orders, so it's not human error on the order taking side. The mistakes they make include not adding on items we asked for, or not taking off others as we requested. Sometimes they simply don't deliver everything we paid for; in those cases, a side item may not show up. Sometimes it's a small issue, like not writing our names on the wrappers as requested, or not cutting pickles in half as requested. But more often than not, it's a combination of 2, 3, 4, OR MORE of these problems on a given order! If some restaurant misses something here or there, it's understandable. No one's perfect. But errors like these occur so often when we order JJ's that it's now a recurrent joke in our household... "Jimmy Johns is here! Let's see what they forgot or messed up this time!" We've given them the benefit of time to train their staff and work out the kinks since opening, since all restaurants have some hiccups after first opening. It takes some time to get into a groove. But they've been open long enough now that there's just no excuses left. This local JJ's should be running like a well-oiled machine by now, but it's just not. Sorry, JJ's... methinks we're moving our sandwich business totally back to Subway, even though it's not as convenient. read more

I don't know what's happening at Jimmy John's especially the one on East Front St it's not fast at all in fact very slow even when you order online like I did today it would've taken an hour for the order i waited 30 mins at the store before i canceled the order...if that's the case they need to say that online that it will take an hour you had one person working the online to go orders and four people working the line from people walking in I saw over 30 people come in order pay and pick up their food before I was even able to talk to someone about my order very sad and don't blame everything on Covid mis managed hire some more employees do your job just sad and frustrating. I've supported this store throughout this mess and today was the absolute worse. Doubtful I'll be back and beware don't order online you'll end up waiting longer than if you walked in and placed an order. I feel for the employees just a mess! read more

Our order was taken by the owner, and he accidentally overcharged us, but we didn't catch it. He did! He came over to our table with a cookie in his hand, fessed up to what happened and offered us a free cookie or our money back. We accepted the cookie, and then he came back with a couple of bags of chips! We told him it wasn't necessary but he insisted. Super freaky fast service! Walked in to get a sub to go, ordered, paid and walked out with it in about one minute. The store was clean, cool, and they were playing good jams. My server was courteous, friendly, and took the time to suggest I get my dill pickle sliced in quarters. My Italian sub was great. Fresh meat, cheese, and veggies on a very tasty French bread sub bun. Sub with two sides was $7.18 with tax so reasonably priced. read more
