Solid coffee shop in traverse city Michigan. Basic menu of coffee drinks and tea. The dark coffee was rich and flavorful. Their standard pour is only 12 oz so you might need 2 if you are used to the larger Starbucks pour. Only a quarter of a mile from Lake Michigan. Grab a cup of Joe and enjoy the lake:)
Good coffee and great service. Found this place on Yelp and was happy that I did. The place was very clean, spacious, and had a good vibe. I'm pretty simple and had an Americano and my wife had an oat milk latte which she was also very happy with. They also serve fresh baked goods that looked delicious but didn't have any vegan options so I had to pass. The service was great too. The baristas were very friendly and engaging, and one even suggested the local street fair that was going on which was cool because we went and had fun. I will definitely pop in here again the next time I'm in Traverse City.
This spinach croissant was really good and not a strong feta flavor so it was a nice light breakfast. The watermelon matcha was so refreshing and the matcha was very well prepared that it was smooth and the watermelon flavor was fresh. The vibes in this location are nice and spacious with lots of fresh plants. They were even selling some plants and propagations. Service was fast and the staff was super nice.
This is the weakest matcha I have ever had. It just tastes like milk. $7 for a tiny cup that wasn't even full when I got it. I asked the price of buying a matcha tin and they couldn't tell me the price. Won't be back and don't recommend!
Mundos! Seriously one of my fave cafes in TC, every time I'm in town for work and can spare a couple hours to WFH, I come here. I always manage to get parking in the front *giggling* I even have quarters with me ready since I'm not about to download an app just to park. The ambiance is great in here, their stickers are so cute (I have most of them), service is always five stars, the plants make me happy (The spider plants have so many babies), natural lighting is always nice in here. The matcha oatmilk latte with some honey is so comforting, their iced teas are refreshing. Love spending time here alone or when my coworker comes, I made sure to bring her too :) Highly recommend!
Ambience is modern, social, and plenty of natural light. Huge windows! The clientele ranges from retirees, to young mothers, to professionals doing work. There's something for everyone here Service is fast, matter if fact and pretty quick, no food purchased so cannot comment on the baked goods but the small latte was probably an A- - fairly smooth and not too acidic. Nice. Recommend!
Great (and filling) breakfast burrito (half of one does it for me) and delicious matcha lattes! I liked that they had a grab and go option for the matcha latte too. You can either get it as a to go "like normal", or grab a few glass bottled matchas to stock up for later too! Stopped in specifically to pick up a couple MINT matcha lattes (yum), and they only had 1 glass bottled one in their grab and go section. However, they were able to make another one fresh and bottled it for me on the spot! A tasty treat.
One of the most popular coffee shops in Traverse City, Mundos has multiple locations that are all serving up quality. The ambience is inviting, albeit minimalistic. The lattes were very smooth and the flavors were balanced. Although, we didn't try any, the food options looked great too!
Lovely atmosphere. I'd love to work or study here if I'm local. As soon as you walk in, you can smell the excellent espresso aroma in the air. They have great latte and latte art. The drinks can be a bit pricy. We got the matcha with coconut cream, which is not on the menu. It tastes amazing! Though over $8 is a lot. Many interesting merch here too. Overall, we loved this place, but wish the prices are not as high.

Mundos is just about the best and most elevated coffee shop around!!! They have several locations in the Traverse City/Grand Traverse County area and each one is unique in its own way while also maintaining the 5-star quality of their food and bevvies so this review is truly for every single one of them! Sadly, the Mundos in Suttons Bay will be closing soon, which is a shame. But the newest location on Front Street in Traverse City - Mundos 305 - is so incredibly massive and stunning that it almost makes up for it! They do the absolute best breakfast burritos here and the Cheddar Lime Hash Burrito literally has a grip on my heart! I got it every single day that I was in town for breakfast and couldn't have been any happier! As for drinks, I'm not a big coffee drinker, but all my friends tell me that the coffee here is superb. For me though, the matcha Mundos offers is where it's at...especially the STRAWBERRY MATCHA! They make the strawberry syrup in house and you can really tell by how fragrant and tasty it is. It is genuinely unlike any strawberry "flavored" or matcha drink I've ever had and I love them so much for this! On top of that, they have plenty of other options for coffee drinks and non-coffee drinkers alike! There's truly something for everyone here and I will come here every single time I'm in town from here until the end!!!! Love Mundos!!!!!!
This cozy, yet wide open space for friends, community & coffee hit the spot today. Looking for an escape from the confines of our condo, we trekked here to enjoy excellent coffee, great food (the breakfast burritos are fantastic) & a cozy atmosphere. Mundos has managed to make white walls & concrete floors a great inviting space for remote workers, groups & those seeking a place to read a good book. The baristas (who know their craft) are fantastic & rolled right with our coffee modification requests. Best coffee we've had in a long time!
A 5 for atmosphere and staff - excellent A 4.5 for coffee - my pour over had stalled and was bitter. The barista made me a cortado to replace it and quite possibly was the best I've ever had (vs. Madcap / Barista Parlor / etc)
My friends and I stopped in here on a Wednesday morning a couple of weeks ago and the staff were very welcoming. The store was clean and there was no wait. They had options listed as non-dairy, which I really loved. My latte was delicious and the creek/tree line view next door was very relaxing. read more
This was a fun coffee shop after we had Mexican for lunch. A big store, bigger than we expected. Cool and Chill vibe. Coffees were good. Local artisan stuff to buy. I tried something unique...a coffee lemonade. I don't know how I feel about it...but I drank it all. It is worth a try but it tasted like lemonade that had coffee grounds in it without the grounds. At any rate...the staff was nice and friendly and helpful with choices as "new-bees" to the place. read more

Such a cute spacious place! Passing through Traverse needing a coffee but wanting to try a new place, Mundos popped up on my search so I stopped in. The shop is very clean with a modern charming feel, lots of seating and would even be a great place for a small work meeting. The staff was very welcoming and the coffee was exactly what I wanted. Typically I'm an iced coffee connoisseur but it was chilly outside and decided to try the banana bread latte, it was perfect! read more

My mom and I were picking up some groceries in town when my husband texted me "I would not be mad if you brought me a latte if you're near someplace you could get one." I got the text just as I we rounded the corner by Mundo's so we popped in! LOVED IT! In my car I had a thermos full of cold brew I prepped at home but I couldn't resist the delicious smell of Mundos' coffee when we entered so, in addition to his latte, I also got one of their smooth, delicious cold brews. My mom also got a latte and proclaimed it excellent. The space is on the more minimalist side but welcoming. The barista we encountered was lovely and very helpful. They also sell their own beans and they had a table full of a selection of plants and skincare products like soaps and such. Very welcoming, excellent coffee, and a great location make for one awesome coffee shop! read more

The staff were helpful and kind. The camomile tea was warm and cozy. The oatmeal was so yummy!! It reminded me of my grandmother and felt like home. Calming and refreshing atmosphere. Perfect spot to reconnect with myself. read more

I was in Traverse City for 2 nights for work and went to Mundos 3 times. They make a good cappuccino but the food is what sets it apart. It's crazy that a coffee shop serves poached eggs that are so much better than most full service restaurants. The vibe was chill and the staff was very nice too. read more

When you find easy parking right out front, walk into a cool shop on a muggy day and hear John Denver playing, with the promise of the creamiest, most perfectly spiced chai latte to be served up by awesome barista Nick, it's a good day! Then Nick tells you he always plays John Denver when it's raining, and you discover there is now canned cold brew available. Week made! Mundos is one of the great coffee spots en el mundo! read more

I'm usually basic every day of the week but two days in a row we wandered into this modern yet quaint coffee shop. I stepped up to truly rich and decadent coffee. Ordered a cortado, which is a 1:1 ratio of espresso and steamed milk. It was unlike any other coffee I've had in the past. It smelled so different, and I won't do any justice to the taste trying to explain it. It had fruity notes and had a very velvety mouthfeel. Come check them out! read more

We had one day in Traverse City and found Mundos for breakfast. A beautiful buildout with spacious and beautiful seating. Indoor and outdoor seating available. All staff was wonderful and service was quick! We loved the coffee selections and delicious breakfast! read more

Cute little spot with incredibly well made drinks. Had a regular iced latte and got a strawberry matcha to go. Both were excellent. New favorite coffee shop in Traverse City. Also ordered burritos while there and both were delicious. Service was quick and friendly! read more
