Thank God for coffee! I was falling asleep driving into Traverse City on 72. Looked for coffee on Yelp. The people working there were cheerful. The coffee tasted great! What's not to like? read more

Very cute spot, love the looks and vibes. I would not recommend a latte from here. it's 90% milk and honestly tastes very watered down. As somebody who goes to cafes very frequently i was incredibly disappointed in the presentation of the drink and the taste itself. Staff was pretty nice, but nothing special. i'd consider this a pass. read more

Aroma's Coffee & Tea - this is supposed to be an iced white mocha latte. i think i got a cup of milk with flavor. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Traverse City, Michigan

Aroma's is our go to coffee shop in Traverse City. We love the decor, offerings, and customer care. They always take great care of us and deliver wonderful Matcha Late and fresh brewed coffee. Purchased a bamboo whisk and stand so I can try to repeat the matcha at home some days. We go back every time we visit. read more

Loved the iced mocha here. Nice staff, located in a very busy area but they have a parking lot and they had a few tables outside. read more

Aroma's Coffee & Tea - Outside - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Traverse City, Michigan

I was not impressed. I came here because I thought they do nice lattes with latte art and their food menu SOUNDED good. The cashier laughed when I said I wanted a latte for "here" with the art. I wasn't sure why. When I got it I understood. Whoever made the art did not have any skill lol. But aside from that. The sandwich I got on the menu sounded so good and I imaged this quality attractive looking sandwich. Just see the picture of what I got. Cafeteria food. The menu description claimed to even contain avocado and all I got was some weird green paste inside that I'd assume is avocado. No lettuce. No nothing. Just the worlds most boring and not tasty sandwich. read more

Aroma's Coffee & Tea - Yuck. And sad latte art. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Traverse City, Michigan

Friendly staff, German chocolate mocha with just the right sweetness, and a nice, quiet patio with a view of the lake. Breakfast cookies are both tasty and sustaining. And free WiFi. read more

Great local cafe that roasts fresh coffee and has a wide selection of drinks. Great lunch options that include sandwiches and nice breakfast bakery options as well. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy on a nice day. If you are biking there is plenty of parking for that as well. read more

Been to Aroma's a few dozen times over the last decade. Just gotta commend Aroma's on the taste and quality of their coffee and specialties. Highly recommend! Its SO darn good. -Nothing compares! Thanks Aroma's! Keep it up. read more

Still getting my caffeine fix here after all these years (when in TC)....so time for an update! Despite its location (lower level of a dated-looking office building) -- Aroma's coffee is definitely worth stopping for. I find myself making the diversion more often than not, and that their offerings are vast, quality high. Even if I am headed northbound on M-22, I'll make that double left. It's worth the trouble. They have HUGE coffees, too. Be careful, I think their "large" is about 24oz. A tall is 16oz (a Starbucks Medium). Just as a reference point! I one time walked out of there with a very gigantic coffee on accident...not that its a problem, I just can't drink that much brew! The staff is always nice, the place tidy and plenty of tables/chairs to lounge about a bit and enjoy. Easy parking and quick in and out when you are on the run. Drink of choice: Tall latte, extra shot espresso, 1 pump coconut syrup. Delicious. read more

Trendy coffee shop the way it should be! Tasty, fresh coffee and they also server Moomer's ice cream. Across the street from the West Bay, this shop offers a great location to have a conversation over coffee, tea or ice cream. The wi-fi access doesn't hurt the mobile office worker either. Heads up though. Refills are a buck if you spend a long time there working and are looking for more than one cuppa. read more

Very nice coffee house. Great environment, food and coffee drinks. Lower level of an office building across from West bay. Nice n cozy. read more

My favorite coffee place in town. I come in often, my drinks are always made correctly and everything I've tried has been delicious. Some items can be a bit pricey (smoothies, coolers etc) but for the most part it's all reasonable. Owner is very nice; he cares about his business and customers. read more

I definitely dig this local coffee shop! Their chai is KILLER and so different from the other chai lattes I've had. It's got a great spice to it, unlike other big chain coffee houses that are pretty sweet. Too bad this drink was my husband's and he got to have most of it! I enjoyed my caramel latte though - also not too sweet and had a nice caramel flavor. Yay for Aroma's! Clearly I need to get my own chai when I come back next... read more

I enjoyed my grande chai latte, mmm backgrounds of pumpkin pie spice, yes please. A wifi user who was talking way too loud on the skype or cellphone was just a tad annoying, but it was okay because I grabbed my drink and went outside to enjoy a beautiful indian summer day. Otherwise, the inside is nice, a few different seating nooks which are small but cozy. This aroma's has a better location & better view than the location over on division st. The building they are located in has beautiful landscaping outside and a neat pond with a very conveniently placed bench, perfect for enjoying watching cars whiz by or to just enjoy a view of the west bay. Polite service, and watch for their coupon offers on twitter. read more

Great coffee shop! They will know you by your first name if you go regular ... isn't that right Heather and Sarah? ... I personally like their Jade Cloud Green tea in the afternoon ... Some of my friends love to get their Blueberry Steamer ... it's just a cool place ... They also do 'call ahead coffee' for curbside delivery/pickup ... read more

Coffee & tea house on the first floor of office building. Their classy and tasteful interior decor made me feel like I was inside of a hotel lobby/lounge. I love their lamps throughout the place! The tea served is for some reason super hot, but other than that it's pretty good. I've been to tea shops that use better method of brewing (longer brewing time, using a pot instead of teabag, different temperature for each kind of tea), but the quality of tea leaves here seems pretty decent. If you like tea (English, Asian, Chai, etc) I'd recommend visiting there. read more

What a little treasure on the west side! Excellent coffee and treats. Seats and a view. Recommend!

Burnt coffee and no flavoring. Good thing I've ever gotten is the white chocolate raspberry latte. Not worth the expensive coffee. Waste of money. read more

Best latte in TC, the location is odd for a nothern MI coffeehouse and difficult to navigate, but worthwhile for it's coffee and outstanding service no matter what time of day. read more

The staff was very friendly but for two short specialty coffee drinks it was $11. That's expensive even compared to The popular chains. My husband got a chai latte which was just heated from a box. I asked for the cinnamon latte as an americano, so flavoring and espresso but no milk.. just got the latte, which basically tasted like steamed milk but we had already driven away by the time I tasted it so my bad. We probably wouldn't return due to price for the size and Blk Mkt is so close and delicious. read more

I really liked this coffee shop. Although its location on the ground floor of an office building is a little awkward, it's clean, comfortable, and modern (and not in an entirely sterile way). Large windows let in a lot of light, and there's an only slightly obscured view of the bay. The beverage selection is solid. I felt like an iced green tea, of which they had three varieties. Prices are quite reasonable, and the wireless Internet is blazingly fast and convenient. Electrical outlets are plentiful. And the shop isn't too crowded, either. Although this place isn't downtown, it's still a nice place to whittle away a few hours. read more

The best brewed coffee in town, fun menu items, great food & treat selection, GORGEOUS location, free wifi, ample parking, spacious seating, the most fantastic employees, and wonderful rewards program for frequent customers. I consistently drive out of my way to stop in to Aroma's. They are definitely the best all-around coffee shop/cafe in TC. read more

I have been there many times. It is beautiful and trendy inside and the baristas are fast and efficient.

Best coffee shop in town, and the baristas are smokin hot! ; )

Got a coffee, hot chocolate, cafe mocha and a treat after a day a tubing at Timberlee. Definitely one of the best cafe mocha's I have ever had. Would definitely recommend going there for some hot drinks! read more

Great place to stop in for a quick cup of coffee. Staff is very nice and always fast making my order.

I think it was a Sunday morning and I was using the GPS to search for coffee and Starbucks and other terms and not having any luck. The coffee places were not open, the Starbucks location was MIA. And then Aroma's came up. I knew I had been there once before. But I was astounded to see this location. I was parking on at the Cherry Bend Road parking area to ride my bike up to Suttons Bay and back. I figured I would ride South a bit and I thought, I will park at Tom's Market from now on. It is very convenient to Aroma's. They were open on Sunday morning. The mocha I had was great, perfect size too, not too small. I had a cookie also that was average. read more
