Been there three times in the last say 6 weeks. Ever since they renovated the restaurant, the food is absolutely awful tasting and the way it's being prepared is equally terrible. There's no front register person taking anybody's order and if it is they run back and forth to the prep areas. The self service is absolutely ruining that restaurant , the supervisor or lack of, is totally inept of running the restaurant is truly displayed. You see personnel standing around in prep just shooting the bull between each other and nobody is getting served and if they are is , it's either wrong or cold. The Waynesboro and the at the shopping center store are equally in the same boat as all this goes. Cannot recommend either for crappy expensive food and service. I was on the road swinging through town about to go on a four hour bike ride up the Skyline Parkway where there aren't a lot of places to stop for food, so I thought I better get a little sustenance first. I am not a huge fan of their burgers, but their Egg McMuffins always do in a pinch so I pulled in. The location was clean and I had my order taken promptly. Staff are only good at blaming each other for whatever's wrong & tell customers "it's not my job". My recommendation for potential "customers" is don't go there & my recommendation to the employees of this store is if you don't want to do the job then DON'T - QUIT & LEAVE! They need to stop taking orders when they're behind or at least warn people there will be a wait. We had a 35 min drive through experience. I could see they had a bunch of DoorDash drivers and people inside. read more

OMG!! Caramel Latte tastes like bubbly dishwater!! Do you guys even understand how to make a Caramel Latte? Why are you so consistent about not adding the Caramel? Is this part of what is expected via management, because it done repeatedly! I've been there three different shifts- and I'm getting a latte without the caramel at all! Waited for 20 minutes in the drive thru and order was very wrong even after confirming the guy who came out had the right order

It was mediocre at best. I recall one time, Iwas in the drive thru for 36 minutes or so and ended up with cold fries, sweet tea that tasted unsweetened (like, no sugar whatsoever.) and nuggets hard as rocks. It personally had its ups and downs, but I would not recommend it. However, it gets the job done I guess. read more

This is one of the poorest McDonalds me and my husband have been to in a while. We are traveling and decided to have a quick breakfast here. This McDonald's is in Terrible shape. It has the most unfriendliness staff. The manager came in aa d was screaming at the staff about who did t show up today. The booths and chairs bar stools are worn out and in disrepair . The customer service here was off the charts! The cashier was personable, friendly, and helpful. The food came out fast and piping hot. We mentioned needing ice and next thing we knew someone wheeled out a box of ice and delivered it to our vehicle. read more

I ordered 4 double cheese burgers and 2 large fries. 2 of my double cheeseburgers only had one piece of meat on them. My large fries were only filled half way. I've tried calling multiple times and even left a message about the situation, and have not been contacted by them. Very poor service. read more

If I could give a negative star rating I would. we waited 25 minutes to get a break in the drive up line, for some reason they only took 1-2 orders on inside lane to 5-6 orders for the outside lane, had to get out of car and ask person in outside lane if we could break through line so we could leave. People behind us left also, will never go there again read more

Upon visiting this McDonald's on 2/27/21, I was shorted $10 in change. I immediately returned and left my contact information with the manager. I heard no word until I contacted their corporate office, when Barbara Zimmerman reached out to me. While she stated the manager had been unable to contact me, as I had neglected to write my phone number on the back of my receipt, I did have my full name and address written, so this seems a bit implausible as to why my money couldn't have simply been returned to me via mail. This notwithstanding, Ms Zimmerman did make several attempts to contact me beginning March 15, 2021. She was most persistent and pleasant and clarified the matter. She is definitely an asset to the McDonald's corporation. read more

Staff is not trained well. They can't get ingredients right to save their lives. Every time I come through they get my order wrong. They clearly don't know what goes on which item. Expect random 'Hail Mary when-in-doubt' ingredients added to your stuff. Somebody get those kids some picture books, PLEASE. Maybe they're visual learners. read more

A zero is the correct rating. Totally GROSS to have an employee exit the restroom and NOT WASH THEIR HANDS! I was washing my hands, (good soap supply and instant on water) as the employee was walking towards me. Expecting the employee to stop while I finished up, I was much surprised that the employee kept walking, oblivious to their responsibility to the health and safety of everyone. Customers and fellow employees are all subject to illness when bacteria from the restroom is transmitted to the food prep and dining room areas. I promptly notified the Manager of what I had just witnessed. I wonder if the Team was called together for a safety and health refresher. And I wonder if this employee understands the issue. The coffee machine never seems to be working and the WiFi doesn't connect to ever utilize the iPhone app for your orders

I travel all over the country and have eaten at *many* different McDonald's. I have to say that this particular one has definitely got the drive-thru concept down to a science! Even at the busiest hours in the AM they get the cars through in the quickest and most efficient manner. read more

I usually go to the restaurant on Town Center Drive, but today I was on the other side of town, and figured I'd grab something. I went at 11am and found the drive thru line out to the road. I love McDonald's. It's an everyday thing. But this store aggravates me more than anything. This is the only mcdonalds that ever charges me for mac sauce. And they don't have a set price. Everywhere else it's free but here I pay anywhere from $0.15-$$1.11. The sauce is always one pump that doesn't even amount to a bar-b-q sauce pack. This is the closest store to me and I avoid it all together by going to the others nearby now read more
