The cold front was rolling in and my friend's daughter wanted McDonald's (I advised AGAINST it), but once she got the dog excited and in on it, who could say no. So I ordered something for all of us even an extra kids fry for the pup. NOPE! NOT ONE THING was correct out of the near $25 order! There were people with allergies to consider AND we reiterated that at the menu board AND first window and were assured it'd be taken care of. AGAIN NOPE! This time they couldn't even count the kids nuggets correctly! And kids fries?!?! Apparently they are put single fry at a time in the carton NOT to exceed 9 measley limp fries! As for the adult sized fries, yeah not much better than the kids fries by any amount at all! Of course we called back, took us a bunch of no answer calls until an hour later to finally get answered. Fat lot of good that did. Attitude and excuses of nonstop employee turnover and new kids....but no admittance or acceptance of personal failure or blame at all. Nice "Management", toss the new minor employees under the buss. After pulling teeth, I finally got him to take the order number down for a replacement. Didn't do much in the end.... I called this morning to double check and verify before I made another trip. Got a hold of a female manager who said come on in right at lunch and it will all be taken care of. When I got there I discovered the smoker employee I mentioned before (in last review) is now a manager. WOW. Of course. The Muppet Show's Gonzo and Crazy Harry's speedball addled love child (fresh out of bed with days old dirty clothes) had to give full attitude about how he was only going to refund the 2 Big Macs. And if anything else was expected, well, tough luck. Like a 9 year old is going to be satisfied with Happy Meal for a 3yr old? Let alone several adults only getting half of their meal? The half assed French Fries were supposed to make up for everything else that was lacking? That was supposed to be a nice friend and family meal experience and treat to enjoy and share. McDonald's Waupaca FAILED on that. Why should the group be punished? Like ANY of that initial evening was enjoyable? The kid gave her meal to the dog. And us adults split the other Mc Nuggets and barely warm limp fries. Yeah, "Super Good Time"....not. On top of that to not even consider the 4 total wasted trips there and back 2 times 15 minutes each way in sub zero weather?!?! After everything I returned to the truck with NOTHING for any of the troubles and hassle. But I did get to see the manager who cannot manage come out to call his boss about the whole thing. Of course no one would give me the boss's number to speak to directly. Luckily I was already speaking to another location to get the franchise office to call. I doubt calling the owners will accomplish anything. BUT hey, at least I can tell you don't give this place any second chances or even three strikes....I mean UNLESS you're high, wasted, drunk, have no standards or just plainly have given up. read more

Oh yeah the service was just wonderful, almost all the employees were on there phones with there fingers up there ass. I ordered a plain double cheeseburger with nothing on. Guess what I got, a fucking single patty burger with all the toppings on it. Oh that's not all, all the employees were also talking to each other and kept walking out of the building. It's McDonalds food. The price and speed is right. However, the service is very sloppy and unprofessional. The employees at this location treat their job like its a joke. The managers are just as bad. I've gone in many times and seen people in uniforms running around in the dining area, hiding in the blind spots of the cameras. The food is never particularly bad. I've had many sandwiches made a little too hastily and are just a giant mess. I would avoid the bacon. Usually chewy and unappetizing. All in all it's good for a quick bite. You all know the health hazards of eating McDonalds. The drive through times are quick and the food can be cheap. We can't expect much else. read more

What can I say, it's McDonald's! You get exactly what you bargained for at this fast food place, the classic meals are all here! The service is up to the signature Mickey D's standard, though the orders generally do take quite a while (considering it is advertised as FAST FOOD). My McRib was delayed for multiple minutes, and they also forgot my drink. I too had forgotten about my missing beverage until I exited the establishment, I then had to awkwardly re-enter the building and ask for my cup. Despite these missteps by the staff, the quality was what I deserved. I would recommend it to all of my family and frienda. read more

This is the most unfriendly McDonald's I have ever been to. I am a Coke Zero lover and I go to numerous McDonald's to get them. I work in Waupaca once a week and dread going to this McDonald's during my lunch hour to get my "fix". I now go to Burger King and pay double for a fountain soda that I don't enjoy half as much because their customer service is way better!! This is my first ever review of any place so u know it's bad. Clearly ordered 'an iced Carmel mocha, small is fine and a number 4 with just pickles' along with some nuggets and an order of fries. Up at the window, the gal hands me a hot coffee...I said, this was supposed to be iced...to which she replied, I heard a small Carmel mocha. This McDonald's is the worst I've seen. It was 11pm and we started to get hungry, so we thought this McDonald's would be the fastest. When we ordered we had about 5 cars in front of us, completely fine, but it took a solid 30 minutes to get those orders taken care of. We pull up to the window and they take our money and hand us my drink, it was super watered down due to the ice having half an hour to melt. After receiving the drink we saw several employees on the back on their phones, doing nothing, when there was a line of cars waiting for food. After 10 minutes of waiting at the window we were told that the buns had run out, and it will be another minute. After receiving the food we had waited half an hour for not warm fries, and a watered down drink. The people working their were also arguing as we were waiting. Unprofessional and uncalled for. If I were the manager I would instantly fire them, as they are giving the restaurant and bad name. read more
