I was in town visiting the historic landmark railway depot most of the day and I asked the guy who was giving the tours at the place and who I was talking to for hours if he could suggest a good beer/burger place, a local should know and he suggested this place so I changed my plans and went here instead. The place is the typical bar/restaurant with bar seating, table seating behind it and a pool table in back. I seat my self like the sign says and eventually my server stops by to ask what I wanted to drink and I ask what's on tap and a hulk like attitude rips out of her, your going to have to look for your self because she doesn't have time to tell me. Ok I'm not sitting at bar and I'm at a table in the back so no way I can read any of the taps that far away, just bring me something dark. She finally comes back to take my order and I ask if I can get a rare burger and she says yes so I get the Schuellers burger with frys and she says anything else so I say how about the beer I ordered 10 minutes ago. My burger came about 10 minutes later and I could tell by the smell that it is cooked completely through. The burger had 0 red or even pink left in it and it was dry, that's why I like rare because the juices are not totally cooked out of the meat. The frys were absolute the worst because they were room temperature, limp and very greasy, see my pictures and I couldn't eat them. When my server came back to ask how my food was I showed her my well cooked burger and said it's not even slightly pink let alone red/rare which she offered to cook me another one, no thanks I said because I never send food back. Overall my server hates her job which is obvious and the food was not very good or cooked correctly so I would not ever stop back here. I hope my server knows that I was very generous with the $1 tip because I wanted to leave $0 but she might not get the message and think I'm just cheap, the change would have been a total slap in her face.

Food was cold. Nothing impressive. All biscuit no gravy and what was there was so cold. Food came out piece by piece.

Well, another reason why I love Waupaca. Chain O' Lakes Bar…read more& Grill is exactly what you hope to find when you pull up to a resort‑area bar and grill-- it seems welcoming and friendly, and I bet this place packed in the summer. Even in the off‑season, it has that "weekend" energy, in a good way. If I lived here, this would be a primary hangout for a beer or two. They've got a solid tap list, nothing special but definitely better than your standard domestic‑only lineup. We ended up splitting a Cuban sandwich, which came with homemade potato chips which were quite good. But the real surprise was the jambalaya. Saw this after the fact but lots of Yelpers have been making note of this soup. Tons of flavor, great spice level, and it feels like something you'd never expect from a typical Northwoods bar menu. And yes, you can even take home a quart of the soup. Next time I am in Waupaca, I am bringing some home. The menu in general is what you'd expect from a place like this--burgers, wraps, sandwiches--but with more variety and more "made‑with-care" options than the usual lakeside joint. There's plenty of parking, and for warm weather months they've even got volleyball courts, which adds to that relaxed resort atmosphere. Overall: a great stop if you're in the area, and absolutely worth revisiting for that jambalaya alone.

This place is a good choice for families as there is a lot of seating, indoor and out, and the food comes in a reasonable amount of time. I have been pleasantly surprised with Little Cesars in Waupaca. I usually order the pan pizza…read more(square one) the crust is nice and crusty on the edges. I always ask for extra sauce on my pizza, I wish little Cesars franchise would increase the amount of sauce on their pizza's. As I read other reviews I see that I am not alone in that thought. I also order extra cheese, we in Wi love our cheese. I have never been dissapointed, but I always make it clear to them that in the past I have asked for extra cheese and sauce and was dissapointed when I got home with my pizza. When I tell this to the person taking my order they do a great job with my pizza. You might notice I gave 4 stars vs 5. That is because of the poor personalities of the people in the restaurant. They don't seem very happy to be there. One time I stopped in and a manager from Two Rivers was filling in and she was absolutely fantastic and very personable. I don't know if cell phones are destroying our youths ability to interact with public or what is going on? When I worked in the food industry it was mandated that we interact with the employees and make them feel welcome. That does not seem to be the case. We were told to wear a different hat when you are behind the service counter and leave your issues from home at home. Maybe management or trainers can start stressing the importance of service with a smile? Inside of the restaurant is what is expected for a very fast food pizza place. It is cold in atmoshpere but it is strictly take out so who cares if there are just a few chairs in the store. Anyway, I love little Ceasars in Waupaca and I go frequently.

It seems like a fun place to bowl as the lanes are very nice. There is a large bar and a few slot machines around the alley. The gentleman taking my order wasn't accommodating at all. Perhaps, he didn't know that I'd never been there, but as a business owner, you should always treat your customers as if it was their first time to visit your establishment. Before moving to Wisconsin, I'd never heard of broasted chicken, but my husband has always talked about it because he knows I love fried chicken. When I saw it in the menu, I knew that it had to be ordered. It took about 15 minutes and when it arrived, the first thing I noticed was how crispy the skin looked. I ordered dark meat because I love chicken thighs. The chicken was spot on awesome! I did have to S&P it but the flavor was still very good. The chicken was so juicy but not greasy which I love. I ordered potato wedges and coleslaw to go with it. The wedges were probably the frozen ones but very crispy and crunchy along the edges. The coleslaw was savory/sweet and one I've missed from living in Texas. All the coleslaws that I've had up here are savory and not enjoyable. This meal was very good. I'll definitely go again and probably order the broasted chicken. My husband enjoys bowling here over where we go on Saturdays for our couple bowling league as the lanes at Waupaca bowl are nicely oiled. It's also larger and the tables at the lanes are more inviting to visiting while bowling. I'd like to try bowling here one evening too.
