Delicious and great service! I had the Hawaiian Swordfish (special) and it was SO GOOD! It's located in a street with Christmas lights and looks like it could be in a movie. Great meal and ambiance!

    Simpsons friends.

The food is always delicious. The service is amazing. Drinks are perfect. We eat there about once a month. Try it. You'll like it.

Simpson's ; The prettiest place in town, nice and cozy. Beautiful fireplace and real food, made perfect. Simpson's , all you need is more customers. Once the word is out, everybody driving on that big highway to the west 110, and probably 49, are definitely gonna wanna trya' Simpson's meal, and there is a real good bar too with barstools. Plus there is a deck up top, and a place outside too. Uh good lookin people too.

I was in town visiting the historic landmark railway depot most of the day and I asked the guy who…read morewas giving the tours at the place and who I was talking to for hours if he could suggest a good beer/burger place, a local should know and he suggested this place so I changed my plans and went here instead. The place is the typical bar/restaurant with bar seating, table seating behind it and a pool table in back. I seat my self like the sign says and eventually my server stops by to ask what I wanted to drink and I ask what's on tap and a hulk like attitude rips out of her, your going to have to look for your self because she doesn't have time to tell me. Ok I'm not sitting at bar and I'm at a table in the back so no way I can read any of the taps that far away, just bring me something dark. She finally comes back to take my order and I ask if I can get a rare burger and she says yes so I get the Schuellers burger with frys and she says anything else so I say how about the beer I ordered 10 minutes ago. My burger came about 10 minutes later and I could tell by the smell that it is cooked completely through. The burger had 0 red or even pink left in it and it was dry, that's why I like rare because the juices are not totally cooked out of the meat. The frys were absolute the worst because they were room temperature, limp and very greasy, see my pictures and I couldn't eat them. When my server came back to ask how my food was I showed her my well cooked burger and said it's not even slightly pink let alone red/rare which she offered to cook me another one, no thanks I said because I never send food back. Overall my server hates her job which is obvious and the food was not very good or cooked correctly so I would not ever stop back here. I hope my server knows that I was very generous with the $1 tip because I wanted to leave $0 but she might not get the message and think I'm just cheap, the change would have been a total slap in her face.

We learned about Indian Crossing Casino about a year ago and knew they offered a smash burger…read more Recently we decided to stop by and check it out. The location does not house a gambling casino. Casino used to refer to a building for dancing, meetings, and entertainment, hence the name. We parked in the lot and headed toward the wooden building with the curved roof. The casino building and some of the nearby buildings reminded me of buildings at Indiana Beach, and I realized these had some history to them as well. They date back to the 1920s, and it's great to see them still in use. Inside, we found a lot of seating, a curtained stage for live music, a bar, and garage doors open to the Chain O'Lakes. The spring-fed lake nearby has beautiful blue green water and was busy with boat traffic on a warm sunny Saturday. We found some seats and the bar and ordered some beers. I noticed they also had cocktails and wine, and some nice glassware to compliment the beverages. We both ordered the Wanna Smash Burger: two patties with American cheese, thick peppery bacon, lettuce, red onion, and their ICC sauce served with kettle potato chips ($18). I didn't really want bacon on my burger, but it turned out that this was some really fine thick bacon, hanging well outside of the boundaries of the bun, and it was delicious. The burger was good as well, the ICC sauce had a bit of sweetness to it, and all of the flavors worked well together. The access to the lake on a beautiful day makes this a great option for food and/or drinks. And they host live music, yoga, and other events well.

They don't bring chips and salsa unless your dish comes with them. Thankfully, my dish did. Chips are served warm. They only needed a little salt. Not homemade but good. The salsa was very finely prepared with NO chunks. It has a little spice on the backend. Hubby ordered a quesadilla (large) and fries. Only the large quesadilla comes with a potato side. He chose fajita beef. I ordered the three tostadas meal with rice and beans. I chose one of each: steak, chicken, and ground beef. Our food came very fast! Hubby's quesadilla was quite cheesy as you can tell by the picture of the cheese pull. Very basic flavor though, nothing special about the steak. Fries were a frozen "meatier" French fry. My tostadas were crispy and fresh with cool veggies on top of the meat and beans. Nice big slices of avocado under the Parmesan cheese. The ground beef was my favorite of the three flavors. Rice and beans were run of the mill. Our server was very kind and attentive. We told her that it was our first time and she offered suggestions and gave us plenty of time to peruse the menu. For an early Friday evening (Black Friday), there were a handful of tables of patrons. It seemed clean and nicely decorated. Not sure that we'd return for their Mexican food but they serve other ethnicities of food and also serve breakfast all day.
