Very clean, excellent service, and hot/fresh food, if you can call it food! It's very spacious inside and has a ton of kiosk for ordering in your own. Employees seem to be happy with their jobs and eager to help with folks trying to figure out the kiosks. Operations moved smoothly. My food was ready quickly. Effortless. read more

Still probably the worst McDonald's in the DC area, with limited kiosks to place orders,, surly and unhelpful and uncommunicative staff. It's just completely depressing. I only go there when I'm starving and don't feel like cooking or traveling to another restaurant. Only one staff person was really nice and helpful the other day, and English is her native language. The rest of the nonEnglish speaking staff act like they're stoned, indifferent, and don't give a crap about anything or anyone. It's a tragic place. read more

They be in their duffle over here. Every time. Best McDonalds in DC hands down. I love the ambience too. A+ to the crackheads. read more

An employee named Xiomara Alvarado showed and delivered excellent service to me. She helped me correct problems I was having with the app, and insured that I could obtain a Bacon egg and cheese biscuit plus $1 for an extra one. She delivered the same excellent service to a woman who was before me in the line. A woman this capable should be working at a better place than where she is. I wish her all the success in the future, whatever she chooses to do. James Scott read more

Worst managed ever. The counter is simply not manned, workers ignore people waiting, everything is late and poorly prepared. The manager is a total zero. Thinks she is above having to do the job. Go the River Road location to see a shining example of what good mgt looks like. This McDonalds is a fail. Eater beware. read more

McDonald's - Flag at full staff instead of half staff to honor passing of former President Jimmy Carter - Fast Food Near Me - Washington, DC, District of Columbia

It's a McDonald's...nothing about this location that's extra special or anything. I stopped to try a Frozen Fanta. I normally would place my order on the app but I wanted half blue raspberry and half cherry and you're unable to customize on the app. I stood around for awhile watching people come in and place their orders at the self service kiosks and others standing around waiting for delivery orders and nobody was taking orders at the register. I had to flag someone down and ask if my order could be taken. They were able to accommodate my request for my frozen Fanta and it reminded of an ICEE...not bad. read more

McDonald's - Frozen Fanta Blue Raspberry and Wild Cherry - Fast Food Near Me - Washington, DC, District of Columbia

I'm a food snob and a nutritional Nazi. Not counting yesterday's breakfast at this store, I've only eaten McDonald's food twice in my life. All this said, I was starving after an empty stomach workout at my gym down the street and very short on time so on an impulse I chose to eat here. The restaurant was immaculate and well staffed with friendly and helpful people. I loved my Egg McMuffin "make it a meal" and reasonably healthy. The coffee was surprisingly excellent. Even more shocking was the $6 price of my meal and the fact that I had to argue with the manager about leaving a tip. read more

This McDonalds takes the crap. It is: 1. Super Overpriced 2. Very slow service 3. rude staff 4. rude customers 5. A bad location 6. No drive-through 7. Very difficult to park in I don't know whether it's a franchise or a corporate store, but I seriously suggest that if you want to relax with your children, do not go there. read more

I am not a fan of this location by any stretch of the imagination. I can here for the first time yesterday for lunch, and the first part the was difficult was navigating and finding a parking spot that would fit my SUV. When I walked in, the place was mad packed with customers, but I did manage to find one of the remaining small tables next to the window. I had attempted to place my order thru the app, which wasn't working either. And there was no employee at all working at the counter section. I waited for several minutes, and nobody was there, or evenly looked remotely as if they had time to answer my question or help me. I gave up with the app and just ordered from one of the kiosks that wasn't broken. Yes the first kiosk was broken, and didn't notify me into I went theubthe long ordering process and got to the payment part. Finally, I disliked this location greatly because the whatever jazz music they were playing was at vokumeb10. The $7.50 Big Mac wasn't that great either. read more

The remodel has killed this place. The ordering kiosks take up so much space and the two tiny counters for ordering and pick up are so cramped. Why is there a wall and a weird hollow space where the old coffee bar used to be? Service is terrible. Understaffed at busy times in morning/early afternoon. Do yourself a favor and just skip this location. Drive up River Road and go through the speedy drive through. read more

I came in to order the five dollar combo that included the McDouble, fries, nuggets, and drink and I ordered me another fry on the side. This is the third time I have come and went home and realized I was missing items. I realized before leaving the lady forgot to give me my cup turned around and got that get home and realize my extra small fry I paid for was missing. I just got off from working 9 hours and was not about to go back for a small fry I just know this will be my last time patronizing this McDonald's it's always something. Always a lot of people hanging around begging as well. read more

This location is a huge disappointment with a menu that feels like it's been cut down to size. With how long I usually end up waiting, Not sure it can still even be called fast food... Ordered three items and they managed to miss a sandwich entirely (and paid for it, too), Chicken nuggets were beyond inedible. read more

Was clean service was quick. Food was hot and as good as you get from McDonald's. I would recommend.

Fast service, a bit chaotic since they still shout out orders for pick up. this mcdonalds has a nice ordering system with a screen at my tall height! warning though, i was pan handled inside the restaurant. The elderly gentleman in the nice clothes and a walker did not fool me though. I decided to move on even though I ordered dine in and had my food already. I wonder if Mickey dee's will consider some sort of electronic notification. it was busy and i watched my order sit there until i could catch the attention of the staff....like I point out a bit hectic despite the fast service. read more

This McDonalds SLAPS. EVERY. DAMN. TIME. I came in at 11:10 this lovely Friday am because my hankering for a bacon egg and chez was out of control. Unfortunately, the very adept front staff cashier worker (maybe GM) told me breakfast is no longer being served for the day. I told him I was flabbergasted and ... had I dreamt it? That McDonalds serves breakfast all day now... and has been... for like ... the last 5 years. He said I was right but that COVID had gotten everything twisted (something about shipments, delivery workers -- I honestly don't remember -- I stopped listening). But then! This front staff GM worked a miracle and said they may have a leftover sangwich from this am with my name on it!!!!!!! I was thrilled and thus I'm paying forward the good karma. 4000 Wisconsin AVE McDonalds 4 lyfe!!!! read more

I have been to this McDonald's multiple times. It is staffed by the most incapable, idiotic people I have ever seen in my life. They do not have an ounce of respect for their job or the customers. Food takes forever to come out, it is always smashed and in poor condition, and the people working there are too stupid to realize or care. I have sat there trying to pick up an DoorDash order for 10 minutes while the employees stood in the back talking and looking at me. I genuinely believe the people that work at this McDonald's are mentally challenged. read more

Abysmal service. Door Dash drivers above all others. Made me wait 10 minutes to be served

The workers here are so nice They have to deal with much bs on the daily yet at the end of the day, they're still so upbeat and friendly! Me and my dad were surprised and we were surprised since this was the first time we've ever seen any type of customer hospitality read more

This McDonalds is THE. WORST. I'm basing this on customer service alone. This is my fourth visit (second one today) for food delivery and the same employees literally walk past me, look past me, talk past me. I've seen McDonald's, but this one takes the cake. Can I take the 1 star away and just NOT give them a star at all? As a matter of fact, here's what they can have... Two b/c I'm generous. Generally, if I don't have anything positive to say, I refrain from saying it, but this needed to be said. I waited so I wouldn't interrupt them doing their jobs, but it would be better to acknowledge a customer standing at the counter. At least on the second or third time you walk by them. No? Just me? Smh. I told myself to record & see how long it would take. I should have. If I wasn't getting paid to come here, I wouldn't step foot in this place. read more

Nasty customer service, very rude employees and dirty ass tables The customer service here was horrible, my food wasn't what I wanted, the environment was dirty no clean tables no space for my trash in the trash cans because they were over flowing They also pissed in my soda because I'm gay. This McDonald's is like back to the future, nice music, clean design and order on digital screens. But the reason I'm giving this five stars is because there is an employeee John who is amazing. I was noticing he was taking really good care of customers who may be confused by the screens. Then as I ate my breakfast I saw how he knew a lot of the customers names and orders like a 1950s diner. People yelling out good to see you. Then there was a customer being really rude to him and swearing and he handled it professionally. Whoever owns this place needs to know how lucky they are to have John and if McDonald's corporate wants to recognize a stand out guy and his team they should bring their social media unit here. And give the man his own franchise! read more

Worst McDonald's EVER. First off Customer service suck! They stare at you like a deer staring at headlights. Don't ask do you need help or acknowledge customers . They in there walking around looking like gremlins and aliens . Anyway I get Big Macs at least three times a week, not from here , I did not know bread was suppose to be hard after warming it up ? Mac sauce had no taste fries was hard it was just horrible! This is not my regular McDonald's , trust and believe I will not EVER STOP THERE AGAIN.. had to throw food out because I didn't know if the bread was stale or what.. just nasty . Horrible service. I stood at the counter for five minutes as at least five different employees walked by, and didn't say a word nor did they even acknowledge the customers waiting in line. They were too busy filling drive-through and app orders. I finally said "excuse me could someone please take my order?" No response. I repeated it a little bit louder. No response. I left! I always order from door Dash and I never get my entire order from them and lately my food has been delivered cold and not as instructed. I keep ordering because they are close and cheap and I'm lazy sometimes. But I am always disappointed. I ordered the cookie tote and a iced coffee once and it was so delicious that I had to try it again, and 3 times later twice the coffee was so nasty and the 3rd time the cookies were burnt. Same with the rest of the menu one time it is good but the next time you have a biscuit that you can play hockey with. My suggestion is that you Order knowing that at least one thing in your order will not be eatable, missing, or not what you wanted, and you will be okay read more

WHY IS NO ONE MENTIONING THE LACK OF A DRIVE THROUGH?!?! With that addition I'd seriously anticipate visiting maybe 4x more often. If this Mcdonalds were in Dulles airport or something, well of course no drive-thru would be expected, and what, slam your Kia into the concrete slabs of terminal D? Honk at the luggage conveyor belt? BUT The Tenleytown location, on the other hand, seems optimal drive-thru terrain: at the intersection of Wisconsive and Van Ness St, with a literal parking lot and turnaround space out back! Serious if anyone knows of some petition for the Tenley McDonalds drive through, LMK. Genuinely believe that it would boost ratings, customer satisfaction, and business generally speaking! read more

This place used to be staffed in part by gremlins after they had been splashed with water... But now the service is just fine, no scowling, or accusations of theft when you get the drink - that you paid for - from the soda machine...
