Pulled an all nighter, trucked in, experienced one of the better designed showers on the road and decided to sit at the kitchen restaurant. Holy smokes! Reminds me of Knottsberry Farm Broast Chicken from back in the days when we'd host our Varsity Southern California CIF post season banquet and of all the choices ..BJs...California Pizza Kitchen...etc...they decided Knotts..but the chicken was excellent! And I would pass up Church's Chicken for the fried chicken here at the truck stop. Mash potatoes, Baja chicken soup, baby back ribs, Meatball marinara ... Well executed***make Shamrock and Sysco proud! However the beef on the pot roast tasted like it was drenched in baking soda and experienced velveting overdose. Overall service was excellent. All the food arrived hot and the toast was generously buttered not just a tiny little touch of butter. Very well done. The service was great, no issues and our server was nice and attentive with pleasant conversation. The diner was clean and nobody had any concerns what so ever. The workers were not too happy about correcting it but did it quickly. Long line was taken care of quickly and efficiently. I think I was the only one with a wrong order.
