a ham sandwich and french fries
Jay T.

A friend of mine works here, and recommended that I stop in for the tenderloin. I'm afraid that I didn't take her advice. Instead Copilot Jimmy and I saw the Reuben sandwiches on the menu, and decided that we didn't need to look any further. These sandwiches, grilled to perfection, were piled with meat- real, honest-to-goodness corned beef, not some thin slices of lunch meat. The kraut was still crisp, the dressing was creamy... if they hadn't had ice cream, I might have gotten another one for dessert!

Yum! Banna split!

Pork tenderlion sandwich is so so good. The ice cream is amazing! Definitely a hidden gem!

My family & I came to visit the Pickers store and over heard a cashier tell another customer about this place. It was a good thing! The service was friendly and the food was good. Warning though: it's a really small place! We had 9 of us & we nearly filled the place up. One highlight for me was the view of the river. My Dad worked on the MS river for 35 years so, I sat at the window bar area and watched the boats move barges. Brought back some good memories. My Aunt and I had the steak salad...it was delicious. Most everyone else had burgers and they said they were quite yummy too!

Iscream yum!! Great selection of sandwiches. Friendly staff too!!! Beautiful view of river. Worth the extra few minutes off 80.

Holly's the best. Great place to get your comfort food fix. I recommend the ruben, breaded tenderloin or Holly's choice.

Honestly it's an old, dumpy place, and tiny. But...the food is great! They are nice people and we support them.

Quick find for us in the area that wasn't fast food but seemed fairly quick for service…read more Diner looking on the outside. Plenty of cars in the parking lot, which is a good sign. Walked in and clearly this is a local hotspot for regulars. We were there on a Sunday(around 10:30am). Gentleman in front of us had the paper and was acknowledged by one of the waitresses to sit at the 2nd blue booth and she would be right with him. Gotta hometown feel. We were seated by an older gentleman (didn't realized he worked there. Looked like a customer). He mumbled "follow me". No "hi" "good morning" Strange but ok. Waiter was also not very talkative. Some might dislike this service or not. I don't really mind. I'm there for food, not chit chat. Coffee, diet pepsi and water. Coffee was real good. International Delight creamer cups already on the table for convenience. Water more than likely was filtered and not straight city water(at least it tasted good to me). I got biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs (over easy). Impressive serving. 2 biscuits cut in half, smothered in sausage peppered gravy. Biscuits we good. Nothing fancy to say about those. Gravy was creamy and plenty of sausage throughout. Perhaps too peppery for my liking but I was able to finish the plate. (Did I mention we were hangry?). Eggs were ok(we are use to farm fresh). Over easy like I ordered. Boyfriend requested House Skillet with choice of toast for side. Imagine a garden, then toss some hash browns in, meats and slap on 2 eggs! All the things in this skillet. Mushrooms, peppers, onions, tomatoes, ham, bacon, sausage, hash browns, cheese-all topped with 2 over easy eggs! Hefty portion! He was happy with it. Not "bangin" but great taste. For the quick decision of stopping here, we were happy. Service was speedy. Just not service with a smile. Perhaps Sundays are their busiest days. Oh forgot to mention! Cheap! Large portions- ain't leavin hungry for a penny pincher!

We decided we would come back and try it for lunch because the breakfast was very good…read more Unfortunately the lunch fell down for us. Smaller salads which is fine, but the honey mustard dressing was skimpy and not best. No bread served with the salad or even salad crackers. My wife had a hamburger and I had a patty melt. Both appeared to be preformed hamburger patties. You can pretty much tell, same shape, not much taste or flavor. My wife said hers was dried out. We go for the diners that use fresh ground beef, hand made. We ate maybe half of each. The fries and onion rings were good, but difficult to justify at +$30 for both meals. Doubtful that we would try much else here for lunch but the breakfast is very good.

The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly and the atmosphere is awesome. The interior dining area is limited, so call ahead for a spot! But once there you can look at the historic local photographs on the walls, appreciate the ornate metal ceiling, and watch the chef prepare the amazing crepes via a well positioned mirror over the cooking surface. The crepes, whether savory or dessert, never disappoint. There are many wonderful fresh ground coffees to choose from, their aroma greet you as you come in the front door. But my favorite experience at Landmark is to dine outside on the beautiful, secluded patio. We usually go for a crepe, but this time I had the Wagyu beef meatloaf sandwich. Juicy and delicious! And I never stop in without getting the spinach bisque (you can get a cup, but I always get a bowl). It is so rich and creamy and exactly as I remember it from, well, back in the day. Highly recommend!

The are known for their savory quiche and crepes as well as their delicious ice cream filled dessert crepes, ordering the Spinach Bisque is a MUST! While a cup may be fine for some, I always insist on a bowl of the creamy, buttery bisque. Recently for lunch, I chose their Wagyu Meatloaf Sandwich, paired with spicy ketchup, provolone and crispy onion strings on a grilled artisan white bun. The side of Mayo aoli is a great topping too! Sitting inside and watching the chefs prepare the crepes is a delight, but a beautiful afternoon calls for a relaxing meal on their ivy lined patio! It is so cute and gives such great small town peaceful vibes. Highly recommend; but you may need to call ahead for reservations.

I've come to Two Sisters Restaurant for breakfast with my family several times since the corona…read morevirus quarantine started. Their outdoor seating is fantastic and I've always been really happy with the service. Most importantly of all, the breakfast is top notch! My favorite thing to order is the southern benedict. A poached egg is placed on top of a sausage patty on top of an English muffin, then the whole thing is topped with country gravy. Yum. Before I begin my love letter to Two Sisters' pancakes, I want to pause and note the fact that Two Sisters' eggs are always cooked to perfection. Poached eggs are difficult to make and easy to mess up, but theirs are always done right. Same with the over medium eggs I've ordered on skillets. Get it, Two Sisters line cooks. Where was I? Oh. Pancakes. Two Sisters' pancakes are amazing. The Southern Benedict technically comes with hash browns, but I am not a fan, so they let me substitute pancakes. Love 'em. Flavor and texture are great. Definitely recommend. One weekend my boyfriend and I went to Two Sisters on a Saturday morning and then, out of nowhere, my parents asked us to meet them there on Sunday morning. We couldn't refuse, and I mixed things up by ordering The Prime skillet: steak with green peppers, onions, egg cooked how you want it, and cheddar cheese. Another homerun! At Two Sisters Restaurant I feel like I can enjoy breakfast to the max AND not wind up on a venthilator. It's an experience I heartily endorse!
