This place is open 24 hours. The Service people were very nice and it was a typical McDonald's meal. It's good to know that there is something open late night in downtown. I will definitely be back here again. read more

This place is crowded and messy. A worker did clean up the table after we sat down so that's good. The food was typical McDonald's tasting. The service was not the best. Had ordered chicken nuggets and hadn't received my sauce and when I asked for the sauce the worker just tossed them and rolled her eyes like it was such a bother. read more

I haven't been to McDonald's for a while because it's so expensive and it's not even not good quality I'm really disappointed I would not recommend no offence read more

Earlier this summer when the menu changed, we stopped by the local McDonald's for our regular order 3 sausage and egg McDuffie and 2 coffees. Your new Golden coffee was a shock! It was weak, no flavor. The coffee before was robust, we always went there for breakfast, but not any more. We literally threw our coffee out and went on our way. Goodbye McDonald's, never more read more

One of the better McDonald's I've been to that was in a city center. Typically they are much dirtier and slower than what I experienced at this location. The kids were happy with their meals and said it all tasted as they expected, so we'll call that a win! read more

It was McDonald's j should have expected it. The food absolutely sucked we almost threw out all the food we were traveling on a long car touring and stopped for some quick food we ended up going to the flying otter which was also horrible I don't know what to say read more

It's McDonald's. I'm not a McD aficionado, but found this location to be big & busy. The location is central to downtown with some street parking. I noticed a couple of kiosks for person-free ordering, which seemed interesting, although I ordered at the cashier. Any delays seemed to be related to how busy this location seems to be. I got take out the two times I was there & ordered McNuggets for my guy & the other time he got the breakfast burritos. He seemed happy with both. There was both table & 'bar' seating, with a raised middle area with red stools & another area in front of the windows. There was also a more private area to the side of the pop station. Those there seemed happy with both the surroundings & service. read more

DO NOT GIVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO THIS LOCATION!!! I went to this location twice in the last 10 years, both times I was very angry when leaving. The first visit was 7 years ago during "Easter Seals" charity drop across the street. Took my wife and 2 babies for breakfast before the drop. We spent over $30 for food. When we needed a cup of water for the baby, they wanted to charge us for the cup! I can't believe that after spending over $30 at a restaurant, that they would not want to give a glass of water to 18 month baby. Today I went with my daughter, we stood in line for about 15 minutes. Then we get to the window/till, and stood there for about 5 more minutes with no service. I asked if we were gonna be standing there all day? The staff member replied "sorry sir, but our board is full". As we continue to wait, people keep coming into the store and half stand in line the rest order on the app or the kiosk. We watched at least 10 orders go out and the board is still full. I can't believe it's good service to leave customers waiting for 25 minutes with cash and not food in hand at any fast food restaurant. In conclusion, I have no issue with McDonalds as a company, but please join me in a BOYCOTT of this location. read more

Never seen a McDonald's with security. But they forgot a McDouble. But it was awesome.

Great late night service. Security makes a huge difference at this location. Feel sorry for the cashiers who have to put up with horrid customers who are either rude, tell long pointless stories, or do not want to pay. If only there was a way to keep out the street people. read more

I only went here because I saw an advertisement for "poutine" fries. I've never heard of this dish and decided to go to McDonalds to try it. It cost $3.50 for one serving of fries with gravy and cheese curds. Overall, great to try but was a little salty. Next time I'm in Canada, I will look for poutine at a local restaurant. read more

Crappy drive through accuracy! Every time I get drive through from McDonald's, something is always missing! This time two of our burgers! Another time our fries! How does this happen in drive through?!? Yet, when ever I order through SkipTheDishes, the order is perfect!! read more

McDonald's with chandeliers was just completely after my heart. They added a bunch of new menu items and started Monopoly. It was all so appealing. French fries and Fruitopia entirely hit me into the comfort zone. And I took a Mushroom Swiss Chicken Baugette abroad for my dinner on the Victoria Clipper. And it was awesome! read more

Well I gotta say Im happy we found a McDonalds close by. We went to this terrible place called Rise and Grind cafe for breakfast and got sick after, all we wanted was cheap fast breakfast. I will be sticking with the tried tested and true Micky d's from now on for my breakfast munchies. Awesome service here guys, keep up the good work! read more

Worst McDonalds ever. Went in with the kids and asked where the restroom was. "Oh, we're unloading". I wasn't sure what that had to do with anything but the lady looked at me like I was an idiot. "We unload the truck through the bathroom area." So apparently they're blocked off for hours. Anyway, I go ahead and order a kids happy meal. Then they tell me they'll have to give me a refund because they don't have the yogurt OR apple splices. They're unloading the truck of course. "It must be 11pm" you say. Nope, 7pm. read more

I was there last night somewhere between 9:30pm to 10:00pm and there was a prayer circle of 4 homeless people. I wish I was lying. Food was okay. read more

McDonald's is McDonald's, you say? Well, you say, um, right. But still, for a 24-hour McDonald's, this is fairly well run. The floors may not be clean, but the staff is perfectly willing to make your orders fresh even at 3 AM, as opposed to handing you any old food laying around. A very decent bunch of folks work the night shift; I can't say what it's like in the day, but I bet it's typical. read more

This was probably one of the worst McDonalds i been to first of all there is no power outlet to charge our phone because i been to many McDonalds with power outlet and also they work really slow. read more

WOW! Came into this establishment and was absolutely blown away at the service I was witnessing! There was a worker greeting customers with a "Hi! Welcome to Douglas St McDonald's!", walking around the floor asking if customers coming wanted water, going around to the different tables asking how everyone's coffees and meals were, taking away garbage left on the tables from past customers and asking current customers if they wanted their own trays to be cleared. When I ordered myself, I asked how their iced coffee was made, and multiple workers chimed in to give me a very comprehensive answer, all of whom were smiling and very happy to provide me with their customer service. This was such a surprising experience, since when you think of McDonalds, you don't usually expect to experience service that will meet, let alone EXCEED your expectations, but I must say, top tier restaurants and hotels could even learn a thing or two from this location! BLOWN AWAY!! read more
