They wouldn't accept my 2 for 1 coupon! If I could give zero stars I would!!! I've enjoyed the food in the past!

The burgers are always top-notch here--juicy, big, and made to order. The fries are crisp and golden. Everything is served piping hot. The service is also top-notch--fast, friendly, and welcoming. The food is delivered to your table with a smile. While the menu is a little pricier than your run-of-the-mill fast food fare, it gives other gourmet burger joints a run for their money. They also serve an all-day breakfast. The atmosphere is family-friendly and younglings will enjoy the kids' menu. Fatburger is at least a weekly stop for this burger connoisseur. read more

I worked here and the staff is awesome! they're quick and a very well oiled machine! It personally isn't my kind of food, but that's just my taste and the chain itself. But if you like fat burger, then this place is great! (i mean the title is "FAT BURGER" so you know what you're walking in for right?) Clean, good location, kind smart staff, simple proper portion size and it'll fill you up proper as well. recommend read more

Visitng Victoria and my son wanted to eat here. We won't be back. He asked for his burger to be a combo, but was charged separately for fries. When it was brought to the attention of the staff, they refused to fix it and talked in circles about other food on the order. The tiny amount of chicken on the chicken tender poutine should be embarrassing to them. This restaurant is overrated and lacks customer service. read more

Fatburger on Douglas in Victoria was an ok option. The food was very generous, $12. Burger and $6. Shake were big portions. Staff were friendly. The physical resto ok, pretty sketchy clientele for noon on a Wednesday. Good choice if you're very hungry & a burger fan read more

It was time for lunch and Fatburger was a recommendation. I went in and then figured out I didn't really want a burger, so I left. On my way out I saw a sign for "nacho fries" - so I went back in. I love nachos, and I love French fries - putting them together is genius! The fries were cooked perfectly and covered in ground beef (almost like a chilli), jalapenos, tomatoes and cheese. Served with a side of guacamole and sour cream, they were to die for!! I couldn't get over the service for a "fast food" joint! You order at the counter, and then they bring your meal to your table. They checked on me two-three times - so attentive! I also had some of their strawberry lemonade - so refreshing! I think Fatburger should open a place in Nova Scotia, so I can try a burger next time! read more

My first try, I'm not sure if it was just the day but wow, what a disappointing choice. Very underwhelming burgers, especially given the big name and price. read more

Stopped in at 7pm for a late supper. Business was pretty quiet but that's ok. I ordered the backyard BBQ burger combo and found the prices to be a little high, but whatever, if they're a burger specialty restaurant it must be worth it right? They gave me a number, told me to sit anywhere and they would bring my food to my table when ready. I waited maybe 10 mins and I received my order. First thing I noticed about my burger was, "Holy crap! How am I going to fit that in my mouth?!" I don't know if that's a pro or con but regardless after much pressing down and squishing I finished off my burger quite quickly. It tasted great. Staff were very chirpy and pleasant. One staff was walking around cleaning the tables and talking with customers. I had my burger half in my mouth with half the other side pouring out on to my plate so it was kind of awkward to talk but I appreciated the gesture all the same. I think you should give this place a try. I enjoy burgers and fries as much as the next person and feel it was worth the time and money. I'd go back again. read more

Fatburger - You're gonna need to dislocate your jaw to fit this baby in. - Burgers Near Me - Victoria, British Columbia

Stopped in for lunch before heading back on the ferry. All three of us loved it. The bacon was super delicious. Lots of options to choose from to customize a meal you want. Staff was friendly. Food was hot and yummy. read more

I'm a regular customer through Skip the Dishes. For the first time today there was a mistake with our order. We always enjoy ordering burgers that have the onion rings on them We order that every time. But for some reason they missed that on our order. They even added an unwanted tomato to one burger. When I contacted Skip the Dishes they were told by the restaurant they had been out of rings all day and sorry but no compensation. Never contacted us about our order to let us know. Oh that, and the store lied to Skip the Dishes. The store must have forgotten forgot that I had ordered and received onion rings with my order as a side dish. I'm actually shocked that this has happened. It's the worst customer service I ever experienced. I've been a regular customer but will no longer be. read more

The wings here are a great keto option. Either the jerk or lemon pepper will meet your keto needs. That said it is a little pricey compared to places like Tartan Toque, but it does the trick read more

Hated it. Won't go back. Everyone was pep PEP PEPPY! AND SO HAPPY TO TAKE YOUR ORDER! Well, other than the poor chump who has to spend his whole shift opening the door for customers. As I walked up to order, I caught the tail end of the manager ripping the other cashier a new one before turning to me with the biggest fake smile "HI THERE! HOW CAN I HELP YOU?!". The whole experience was very disingenuous and uncomfortable. They ask for your name when they take your order and make sure to use it about ten thousand times, in an attempt to be JUST YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD BURGER JOINT OMG!! The veggie burger I had was alright, the onion rings were really gross: bitter, and the batter was falling off before I could get them to my mouth. Service: Creepy Food: Not great Atmosphere: Vegas wedding chapel meets Red Robin read more

Not as big as the Fatburgers in Langford but the food is just as delicious. Great place to come to if you live downtown but if you need to park on the street in the city core on a Friday night - good luck! read more

Pricey for what it is. The burger is fairly bland. Not bad in size. My whole family pretty much agreed with this conclusion. We'll be going to Bin 4 next time. read more

I tried the beefy angus burger without mayonnaise, mustard, or ketchup, and I substituted the cheese with Canadian cheddar. I usually get no condiments on my burger because I don't like my burger being a sloppy mess, and because I believe that good food should be able to stand on its own without extra paste. The burger was very beefy and tasted fresh. The burger did not have much of a taste however, and the cheese added almost nothing to the flavor. The bread was a bit cheap tasting. Didn't add much flavor and didn't have the density that I think it should have had to complement such a hardy beef patty, but it got the job done. read more

Excellent burger place with wonderful customer service. My first time here the employees are more than happy to make suggestions and recommendations. Food came out hot and exactly the way that I ordered it. Location was clean. I wouldn't hesitate eating here again. read more

It was nice to find they had lettuce wrap burgers as I try to avoid white bread. Bit of a pricey burger. Overall Not a Bad Burger. Basically , Fast Food, whats more to say.. read more

I have eaten here for year and love the burger. It is flavourful and filling. It is not greasy or poorly put together. I'm quite fussy with my meat and love theirs. The service is great at well. If you don't want a sit down or fast food place...this is a great compromise! read more

I was looking around for a quick bite on Sunday and decided on this place. From the time we placed our order (1 chicken burger, a regular fries, and a second hamburger $30), it took approximately 30-45mims to get our food. I noticed that skip the dish drivers kept cycling in and out and got their orders much quicker. Without knowing the time the orders were placed, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Once I finally got my order, I talked to the employees and they advised me that "we try to do the skip the dish orders first". This is ridiculous! Not only is there no organized queue or workflow, but there were guests who received their food before us, even though they arrived after. This operation is poorly managed and the 3-5 employees in the kitchen are processing orders, not on a first come first serve basis, but skip the dish being first priority and walk in customers second. Walk in "customers" beware and are advised to skip this dish. Ps. My fries were stale and luke warm at best. read more

If you have any sort of allergies or dietary needs don't waste your time at this burger joint! We got two burgers that my husband asked several times if it came with cheese. The cashier assured him it does NOT. He even said twice to the cashier I want no cheese. And again the cashier assured him it won't have cheese. We bring the burgers home and sure enough they both have cheese. I took the burger to the store to ask for a refund and the supervisor like a broken record kept repeating "but the groupon comes with cheese". Yes, but he asked for NO cheese!!!! Her answer: "but the groupon comes with cheese". After trying to reason with her for a good 5 minutes, not including the time she was on the phone in the back with her manager, I got tired of hearing "but the groupon comes with cheese"! So frustrated I left their stupid burger on their counter and left. Obviously they don't care about their customers enough to even listen to them! What a sad business! read more

I had a craving for poutine! Fatburger was handy, and I discovered they have what I think they call the Lumberjack poutine that besides the fries, gravy and cheese curds, also has strips of bacon. Was Really Good - It was a guilty pleasure eating it. But as they say, all things in moderation, right? LOL read more

When in Canada, you must have fat burger. This is one of my favorite burger joints back home so when I saw it while walking to my hotel, I had to grab a burger. It takes so different and so much better here. Not oily at all and has a lot of value. read more

The service was friendly, the restaurant was clean and had good music and, most importantly, the food was fantastic. I had a Big Fat Meal (two junior patties, which is basically the same as one regular patty, lettuce, tomato, mustard and mayo, fries or ceasar salad, and a drink with bottomless refills for 10 bucks) with a side of gravy (which was excellent gravy, considering it only cost 79 cents) and my friend had a Mushroom Swiss Burger (which had enough mushrooms on it for them to be actually falling out of the burger) and a chocolate shake (which was exceptional, I tried some). Highly recommended, will be visiting again. read more

I went here with a groupon. I had a veggie burger with skinny fries with as many of the add ons as possible. The food was good - not great, but the service was very friendly and the price was right! In fact I bought another groupon to use another day :) read more

What a disappointment. I finally decided to try a burger here and discovered that Fatburger is yet another Victoria eatery that's incredibly overrated. My burger was a soggy flavourless lump that I couldn't finish. The Beef was completely void of flavour, grilled mushrooms unseasoned. Fries were passable. What a waste of time and money. Burger King has more palatable and flavourful burgers for less. If you're in downtown Victoria, do yourself a favour. Skip Fatburger and head 2blocks down the road to Burger King. read more

This place is great. Eating in is always fun, though they offer delivery too (which I abuse wholeheartedly.) The portions are huge, the food is good, and there are a ton of options. I'm a big fan of their Tenders and their Lettuce wrapped burgers, though their meaty ones are really good too! read more

The food here is basic and solid. When I want a good burger downtown and don't want a lot of hassle this is my go to. If you're doing keto you can lettuce wrap your burger and adjust it to make sure your carb count is low. While still not the best value for a burger in Victoria (that ranking goes to Red Robin) it definitely scratches the itch when you want a good quality burger. read more

Just an ok burger, onion rings were gross. Way too chipper lady exaggerating the goodness of the food as I am ordering it. Expensive considering it wasn't all that great. I have tried it and will not be going back read more

Service was prompt & friendly. Had the Fatburger, onion rings and fountain pop $11.50. It was just okay ... the flavour of the burger patty reminded me of a Wendy's burger, very similar flavour & texture. The rest (bun & fixings) was much fresher. The rings came with a flavourless batter. Would I come back, maybe; but I would not have their signature Fatburger again because it wasn't anything special. I'd try a chicken burger and fries (not the onion rings). read more

Recently gave this a whirl for lunch. Had the Tuesday special which consisted of a bacon and cheese burger, fries and large drink for $13.95. Service was friendly and efficient. Room was small, but bright and clean. Lemonade was excellent. Burger tasted lean fresh and very good. Had ample lettuce, tomato and condiments on it made to order. I thought the fries were only average and frozen type. Burger reminded me a bit of a DQ or Burger King but slightly better. Bun was okay, but not great. I hear the milkshakes are excellent, but have not tried one yet. Next time I visit I will skip the fries and have a shake instead. While I thought the Tuesday special was decent value, the burgers and other items, if ordered separately would be quite expensive as burgers by themselves run $6 to $8 and fries start at around $4 a pop. Drinks start at around $2 each. Will likely return, but won't make it a regular spot due to the prices. Not in the same league as Bin 4, nor Uplands Golf Club Works Burger. read more

Their original Fatburger that they offer is excellent and there are many wonderful side options available. Decent size portions for the price as well. Healthier fare is also available on the menu. It is one of the few decent, clean and affordable dining options in that area of downtown after 7pm. I like the retro cafe vibe and the staff are very friendly. read more

I made the effort to travel downtown today to try the new Fatburger. After circling the block a couple of times to find parking. Plugging the meter and then standing in line for 15 minutes, ordering, then standing in the way of everyone else for another 10 minutes. ( very small place with not enough seating). I finally had my Big Fat Meal combo. The burger was hot and fresh as were the fries. Overall I thought it was just OK. A bit on the expensive side for what I got. It will do well with the tourists but I can't see it being a destination restaurant for locals. I will stick with the drive through at Burger King. read more

AMAZING!!!!! I love fatburger it's so tasty, they call your order out loud so you know they get it right and it is a little wait only usually about 5 minutes, they have unlimited pop refills and everything is made to order and the beef is 100% AAA angus beef from Alberta. They have lovely pictures of Victoria on the walls and all the ingredients are fresh and never frozen, they really need to open one in langford because the only bad thing about this place is we have to drive to town to get it. Even officers of the law eat here. It is on the expensive side but it is well worth the money, I would much rather get one gourmet burger here than 8 crappy burgers from the McChucks across the street. By far one of the best burgers I've ever eaten and I will keep coming back as much as I can afford. Super clean also, have not seen anything on the floor. read more
