I come to Bin 4 a lot. The service here is always great and the ambiance is perfect. When you've come here over 200 times and they've only made a mistake once or twice and always make sure that I'm happy I can't do anything but recommend this restaurant if you love a good burger joint. You better have fun. They have a burger for every type of taste including vegetarians. The deep fried pickles are pretty much always the best. I love their aioli's. Of all the burger places I have been, this is one of the best ones I've had. Bin 4 has a large selection of burgers and the combination of each burger all sound very delicious. They have beef to chicken to veggie to Canadian bison. I had their Sweet Corn and Chipotle and it was wonderful! It was a chicken burger and I don't always like chicken burgers since they've always been dry to me. This burger was juicy and moist. The corn was not too sweet like from canned corn, but tasted fresh. I could go without the goat cheese, it had a very musky taste, but it was not a terrible combination. Their sides are classic fries, a salad, or chips. Their chips, they gave us a small bowl when we sat down, and it was pretty salty. I ordered their house salad, and it was great! I expected a classic salad with greens, tomato, cheese, and carrots, but it's not! It was mixed greens, pumpkin seeds, peppers, cucumbers, and a nice vinaigrette. And they ain't gonna let you down! I've been going to Bin 4 for a few years, attending all of their locations, including Langford, downtown, Saanich, and their most recent location in Vancouver. I finally decided I should write a review for several reasons including giving them credits for hosting my party of 14 people during late night hours at the Langford location a few weeks ago. As a regular customer, I've tried all of the burgers on their menu, and so I feel like I have at least the minimum credential to comment on this fine feasting establishment. Rule #1: go during their late-night hours, from 9:00pm until closing. I've never not gone to late-night. And there's a perfectly good reason for this. After 9:00pm, all burgers, which are regularly priced between $15.00 - $20.00, become 50% off with the purchase of any drink (alcoholic or not). FIFTY PERCENT OFF. You heard me. I'm 5'9", 200 lbs, athletic, and Bin 4 is an absolute heaven when it comes to saving money and eating enough food to satisfy whatever burger cravings one might have. More often than not, I usually order two burgers during late-night which is so worth it. Now, let's talk about the actual food. Fish, chicken, lamb, bison, plain old beef, you name it, they got it! Even vegan options as well. And the great thing is that they all taste great! This isn't some cheap fast-food type place where you know exactly what you're getting yourself into when you place your order as a first-time customer. These are gourmet burgers, made to order if you so wish, and every single one on the menu rightfully deserves its place. In addition to these staple burgers, Bin 4 releases one new burger every month which usually turns out pretty unique. My personal favourites are the Bison Burner, Breakfast Club (which comes with a friend egg on top - who can resist??), and Chicken of the Sea (an ahi tuna burger - high in protein)! Another thing about Bin 4 that's really cool is the choice of either fries or house salad as side AND your choice of dipping sauce for fries if you get the fries as a side. My go-to has always been half fries, half salad (yes, you can do that!) and getting the truffle aioli. Like I said, I've been going here for years, and the truffle aioli never fails me. Every. Single. Time. The only downsides you might encounter at Bin 4 are with how crowded it becomes during late-night, so prepare to put your name down on a waiting list! You'll easily wait for an hour if your timing isn't right. Also, the French fries can be a hit or miss - they might come over fried if anything, but if you don't mind some crunchy fries then you're good. Another thing that's a downer is that the bigger your party, the longer you'll wait for food. The kitchen always tries to send out food for one table at a time (or so it seems). As I mentioned before, I once brought a party of 14 and we had to wait about 45 minutes for all of our food to come out. By then, some of it was cold, bit still tasted good. Our first time here and we were impressed. Service was great and the burgers did not disappoint our group of six. They were clearly busy on the Friday night when we arrived, with a about 5 people waiting outside for takeout orders and not an empty table inside. We waited 30 minutes for a table, which is not bad considering. The server was attentive and had no problem coming to our table 3 times to take initial drink orders from all of us, as different people from our party were in the washroom or putting something in the car when the server arrived. The food arrived hot. I loved that their side salads are not a boring caesar or green salad. Love that they scanned our vaccine passport and checked ID. We keep giving this place another chance and it keeps disappointing us. Every time we have ordered takeout it's been wrong - salad that's missing the chicken, tomato on the burger that still has the leafy green stem in it, etc. Recently we decided to dine in and hoped for the best. Our salad was delivered and it had the root ball part of the lettuce in the salad, with 3 inch long roots! I swear the kitchen staff does not give a crap about attention to detail. Fantastic place for the burger foodie! I even went there for an anniversary dinner, perhaps not the classiest move but we loved the experience and it sure beats other joints dedicated to the consumption of burgers. Rather than a squishy bun and mundane fillers there's choice galore and a nice salad selection too. Service has always been really good and judging by the takeout bags, this is a booming business. No, I haven't written much here about the actual burgers, that's because the are just something you have to experience for yourself. I always order an on-tap beer that comes cold and frosty, nibble on their home made chips, then take my time to look over all the options on the menu until I see one that jumps out. Our dinner was delicious last night, especially those delicious deep fried dill pickles with aioli for an apple. Our server was sweet and attentive and the burgers all delicious, I had the special, char grilled fresh peach and Brie and bacon burger for around $18.00 . It was fat and yummy with the Brie melting out of it. I ordered the onion rings and they too were fat and crisp and delicious. I had to bring half the food home, but will enjoy it with lunch today. I've been wanting to try this place ever since I moved here, and they did not disappoint! I regret that I have no photos; I was way too hungry! My 11-year-old son got the bison burger and he says, "It changed my life!" I got the Beef & Blue and it was cooked perfectly. I wasn't a huge fan of the red onion and jalapeño relish, but that is only a personal preference, not a reflection on the food quality. I have been here several times before and have usually liked my food and service. This was our first time since COVID and we are highly unlikely to ever return. One of the cooks wore no mask, yet everyone else had one on. This wasn't the worst part...our server had no idea about what was on the menu. I posted on FB Messenger to Bin 4 About the cook not wearing A mask and the service issues. They were nice enough to tell me that the manager would talk us shortly or be in contact after. No such luck. Never heard from the manager and the Bin 4 messenger account when hearing this stated... 'sorry about that.' And never to be heard from again. While the regular menu is enough to keep us coming back, the monthly specials are varied and to die for!! We always eagerly await each new one..... Bin 4 does great food. I tell them they are one of the best things to happen to Langford - a downtown hip modern locally owned restaurant with a third location out in West Shore. It's a busy place. They put out good food with a big selection of innovative tasty burgers. Their homemade potato chips are crisp and yummy and as a side order come with a choice of a delicious aioli dip. Onion rings are thickly cut red onion and panko breaded so messy but tasty. Fries are delicious and seasoned perfectly with touch of black pepper. The salad is big and full of red peppers and thick chunks of cucumbers and a sprinkle of pine nuts. House dressing is really good- a tangy lemon honey champagne vinaigrette. I order the salad just to have that dressing. Burger toppings are fresh with butter lettuce and thinly sliced red onion and tomato on a soft locally made brioche bun. Wise choices because it all works wonderfully. My other half enjoys the Dirty Bourbon with added bacon. My only complaint is the veggie burger. The Mr Bean burger has a bit too much curry and is one texture: soft. Needs crunch like an added onion ring and maybe jalapeño aioli instead of curry to balance out the strong pronounced taste already in the patty. I substitute regular cheese for the feta and that helps hold the crumbly patty together. Tweaking the burger makes it better. Because the menu selection is huge for meat burgers, would like to see one more homemade veggie patty option added (the fried tofu doesn't count!). I'd recommend another veg burger that's crispy on outside, soft and flavourful on inside, with traditional fixings. Overall a reliable place that has a nice lounge feel and serves up great burgers made with fresh local ingredients. Staff are pleasant and friendly and manager cares about putting out best service. A great place for a date or special occasion or family meal. They also do a great takeout package with added cutlery, perfect for a picnic somewhere like Esquimalt Lagoon (just get extra napkins!). Call ahead and you will bypass the people waiting for a table for a grab 'n go in 15-20 minutes or so. One of the best in Langford! read more

We were told Bin 4 Burger Lounge recently opened a new location not far from out hotel, so we went to check it out. Bin 4 in Victoria is apparently a pretty happening joint nowadays. The Bin 4 in Langford was quieter, thankfully no lineups required. That alone might be worth the extra 15 minute drive out of Vicotria. The restaurant came recommended from hotel staff. Interestingly, we mentioned this to another server at another (higher end) restaurant on a subsequent night (to be reviewed soon), she said that she and her work colleagues also hit bin 4 after work. Anyway, this was about a month and a half ago; it was our first dinner out on our honeymoon. The burgers we ordered were fantastic. I had the special of the month, which I copied down just to share with you, because it tasted as good as it sounds It was called "Animal Farm": Animal Farm. Peace River bison, elk & beef, Two Rivers duck & cherry sausage, Bluck Buck braised onions, St. Ambroise cheese, fried prosciutto, lettuce, tomato. Just read that again, and let your mouth water. And if that isn't all, the burgers go for half price after 9pm. Anyway, when we finished our burgers, our server, Brianna, who was amazing by the way, brought us a nice chocolate brownie dessert.
