Stopped here recently to treat my Mom to lunch. Food quality of McDonald's has already declined significantly over my lifetime, but this experience was particularly harrowing! The waiting area is too small, the service is too slow, and if you are not willing to spend more time working apps and kiosks than eating your lukewarm food, it's just not worth it. To make matters worse, meals are the same or more expensive than better quality carry out restaurants. Over $20 for 2 regular sandwiches, fries and no drinks is absolutely ridiculous. The following week, I bought a cheeseburger and fries from the Chinese restaurant on Osborne Road. It was less expensive, tasted better, took less time to walk out with, and the over all quality of the food was far superior for a better price. This McDonald's was filthy. Fries were spilled all over the lobby floor. The bathrooms smelled so bad because the trash was full of dirty diapers. And there was no soap. The dispenser was broken. The lobby floor was so sticky. read more

The drive in wait is always long and employees have an attitude when taking your order. Orders are frequently wrong , and fries are never fresh and hot . When you try to reach them on the phone , it goes to a voicemail. You have to physically get back in your car to go back park and tell them the issue . You must do better ! read more

I had a mobile order, took them almost half an hour to get my order, Tea was out of date, manager didn't even wear blue gloves while touching raw food, I got my order after 25 minutes it was wrong and then I touched it all and then he proceeded the manager proceeded to take the food that I just touched and put it back with all the other food including my fries read more

If you want downtime to do your taxes, braid hair, watch paint dry, watch your nails grow, count rain drops....go to this McD's. If youre in the drive-thru its going to be a wait. Even if you go inside its going to be a wait. The location is horrible bcuz you have to go around the building to get in line...and if it gets too long, the enter ramp could get back up from people trying to wait to get in line...and then those people can impede on the person who just picked up their food from getting out. Went to Mickey D's for a late night bite, I usually hate going here because the service is very slow... doesn't matter what time of day if it's almost midnight and the store is empty it's still very slow! I ordered a milkshake, surprisingly the ice cream machine WAS WORKING! I also ordered tenders and fries! The cashier must have been new to the night crew and was being trained, so I let it go! The service was slow but I understood, it takes time to learn things. After waiting for about 10 minutes I finally got my food! When I got to the car of course I dug into my fries like I hadn't eaten all day! (I had) then I reached for my tenders... When I say I was shocked I truly was! I had 12 tenders instead of 6! I guess it was the managers way of saying thank you for being patient while she taught her new nighttime cashier how to operate things so I can't complain. Overall this location could use some work! *DISCLAIMER* This review is for the drive thru only. Every time I come here it is the disappointing. Service: I get the same meal every time and every time it's wrong. It's always right on the screen but when I get it, it's wrong. Also, they are are ridiculously slow. Pleasant but slow. The actual food is hit or miss. Sometimes it's fresh and other times it taste like it's been sitting for hours. I would only recommend this location for convenience. I got off work at 3am stop by to grab fries, McDouble and cookies. To eat since I didn't eat. First they said they were only taking cash. Apparently someone from upper management must have came down to straighten them out because now the service is better. Immediately when i pulled up i noticed that they now have a screen that displays your order so you can make sure that it's correct. Sometimes they'll even take your receipt to, i guess, make sure they're doing it right. I can actually READ the receipts now. Before it seems for the longest time they were running out of ink and wouldn't buy any more. Amazing how i rarely see the same person working there though. It's truly sad when you have to go farther to another restaurant bc the one that's more convenient has service that sucks. They need customer service training or something especially for the workers that work the drive thru. We frequent this McDonald's because it's convenient and that's pretty much it. We've learned after going through the drive thru, getting all the way home and missing food to ALWAYS check our bags before leaving. It's unfortunate but there always something missing. Service is also on the slow side. The food is good and the customer service is just okay.... but there is a disconnect when it comes to getting orders correct. This is one of THE most horrible customer service experiences Ive ever had. Cashier, manager, and other staff were so rude and disrespectful. I WILL NEVER EAT AT MCDONALDS again. *ZERO STARS* Horrible inside experience. Waited for over half an hour while other's that arrived after us received their meals first. It was only until I asked where our food was did they give us something - but only ONE item out of my entire meal (about 11 items). A caramel frappe. Staff was unapologetic and didn't communicate with their customers besides an "I don't know" or a glare. Once they gave us our food, we still were missing 2 McFlurries. Once I asked, they have me only one, and claimed they were out of the other flavor - after waiting all that time just for our food. They tried to compensate with a coupon for a hamburger, but it wasn't even for a free one; it was buy-one-get-one. Our food was cold, McFlurry and frappe melted... I decided to stop at the McDonalds located at 9450 Crain Highway Upper Marlboro on August 17th, 2021 @ 7:50 am. I stopped there three weeks ago, and I went to the drive thru to get a large Mango smoothie and the "machine" was broken. Fast forward to today I figured that enough time had passed, and the machine would be fixed. Well I figured that this transaction would take about ten minutes tops, I had a bag in my hand from a previous transaction that I needed to put in the trash. Ms. Felicia Robinson was the only cashier for the floor customers and the first thing that she said to me was "What do you need" because she saw the bag in my hand and assumed that they had messed my order up. I responded to her that I wanted to place an order she assisted the customer before me and when it was my turn, I ordered two large mango smoothies. Another gentleman came in after us and placed his order this Hussy quickly made his order and passed it to him through the side door. It is now 8:11 am and I addressed the Manager and asked why this guy got service before us and her sorry excuse was that the way the store looked and was stocked was the night crews fault which I could not have given a Fuck about, that had nothing to do with me. Ms. Robinson came strolling her little boy body build ass up with the ice and poured it in the machine and commenced to make me a Strawberry/Banana smoothie which made me ask "Who are those for?" We exchanged words because obviously she was rude and hard of hearing. It was 8:23 am before the Manager ended up fixing my drinks and she left one a little too close to me and I took the top off it because Ms. Robinson was about to be wearing that drink, but the Manager came and took it. I got my drinks and went to my car to get my cell phone to take a picture of this chick (I only got rear shots) when she saw me taking picture she ran to the back of the store. What the hell kind of management is going on in this location where you let your employees talk and treat paying customers any kind of way. I will be contacting corporate. read more

This McDonald's Restaurant is the worst! I have lived in and traveled to many different states and countries, but this place is one to avoid. I often ask myself, "Why do I keep going here." There's only one answer - convenience. It's literally 10 minutes from my house, and I can walk to it from work if need be, but from now on, I'll be keeping away from this one completely. The customer service is horrible, for lack of a better term. I've never seen a fast food restaurant go through so many employees as this one, and NONE of them seem to care whether or not the customer is happy. I've been yelled at, ignored, and even cussed at by the employees as well as the many managers. I've never seen so much disrespect towards a customer before. Although, I must admit there is one girl that works there that is always nice and helpful, and I personally believe that she deserves a medal for working in the type of environment she has to. Besides the one employee, no one ever smiles or greets you with a "hello" or "how are you." Tonight (Sunday, November 23, 2008) I went through the drive thru, which is supposed to be fast, right? Wrong! The machine in the front where you place your order was not working, so they have a poorly made sign written in incorrect grammar telling you to place your order at the first window. Once you pull around, you're stuck. There's no way to get out, so you have to sit there and wait. After about 15 minutes, I finally get to the first window and no one is there. Apparently they meant the second window. After another 15 minutes, I finally reach the second window and this woman is unbelievably rude. I was asked if I would be using cash or credit. I told her that I wasn't sure because I don't know what the final total would be. Next thing I know, I'm being yelled at because I'm taking too much time! I, who after waiting nearly 30 minutes, am taking too long? Sadly, I wasn't surprised since this has happen happened before. There are four things you can expect from the food from this McDonalds; it's going to be cold, the wrong order, missing something, or disgusting. Rarely will your order be exactly what you wanted. This place is a mess. Tables, floors, and even the counters are usually sticky and the self-serve soda and area is always a nasty mess. Couldn't wait for hash browns (which the order taker didn't tell me weren't ready) and when I asked to CANCEL MY ORDER, the manager only brought me $2.50 (for the hash browns, I assume) and then tried to give me the rest of my food, which had already been prepared. Had no time to wait around and explain what "cancel my order" meant, so I drove off $5.43 short. This wasn't at all the first time I'd been screwed over at this particular drive through. I went to the drive through at 10:50am on Sunday 1/17/2016. The lunch menu was showing so I ordered #7, 10pc McNuggets meal. When she gav me the total it was for the breakfast #7. When I asked about it she said it was 10:50 lunch was at 11:00. I stated that the lunch menu was posted so that was what I wanted. When I got to the window she was talking to some one one the headset she asked it I wanted the southern chicken biscuit, now 10:55.
