This is a nicer and cleaner Mcdonald's that actually bring out fresh food and makes the correct order when you go in the drive thru. You cant beat the cheap prices for breakfast and lunch and the service isn't too bad either. I Went though drive thru placed my order Payed at the 1st window got my order at the 2nd window I told the girl I'm missing a Bic mac the girl told me I didn't pay for a big mac and that I had to go inside I'm in the car by myself holding sodas while I'm driving I pulled back in the drive thru got back to ist window after waiting again my order was 5 meals one was a bigmac meal Which I had the soda and fries but no sandwich the girl told me to pull up to the 2nd window to speak to the manager. The manager gave me an attitude like I was trying to get a free bigmac telling me I never paid for it after i explain to him that I ordered 5 meals and that I' dont want a free bigmac that I just wanted a big mac meal and I would pay the difference he told no its our fault told me to pull up and someone would bring it out. So I did got the bigmac went home the big mac meal was for my mother in law who is 84 and in bed with back problems all the food was cold at this point when she opened the bigmac and there was a bun for a bigmac and nothing else. Needed a fast bite between afternoon and evening meetings and decided to hit up the McDonald's on Horizon Boulevard, Bensalem, PA. I seem to prefer Mickey D's recently when in this "no time to sit and eat" mode. Starting with their surprisingly tasty crisp fries, to their less compelling, but still decent Quarter Pounders, this oldest of national burger franchises has really upped its game in the last few years. I enjoyed my repast, even while slumming in the car as I drove to the next destination. Hot taters, oniony beef pucks, soft bun and cold chill drink, we're just about what I wanted and needed. Not that I want this to become a habit (bad one), but I have to admit I felt a childlike sense of happy abandon in chowing down on this almost forbidden micro pleasure. read more

My Mom and I were craving something sweet after leaving the Neshimany Mall and searched for the nearest McDonald's and found this location. There is definitely a lot of traffic in order to get in the McDonald's, since there are so many stores/drive thrus one after another. A lot of stop signs and if someone isn't paying attention, I can definitely see how accidents can happen. The service here was really good and the employees were friendly. This is one of the nicer McDonald's around. Inside is Clean. The staff Is nice. You have 2 ways of ordering.. A kind of self checkout. Where you can order your own food on the screen and a slip print out and call your number when the food is ready. Or u can just order at the register. Also there's a screen on the ceiling and it shows your number on your receipt and it tells you the order is in process and when the order is ready it changes and says ready for pickup. If you order your food to eat in. they will give you a number and you can go sit at a table. and they will bring you your food out. when it's ready. kind of something like Chick-fil-A has. I just wish more McDonald's did things the way this one does.. read more

I haven't been here in a while, but I will comment on the times that I have. I have tried to get drive thru between 45 minutes to 3 hours before they closed and had problems with availability. One time it was 45 minutes before they closed and they told me they do not have any hamburgers or fries because they already shut down the grille. Another time it was 3 hours before they closed and they said they already shut down the milkshake machine and grille/fryer . So I wasn't able to get a milkshake and chicken. I just left the line and went to the McDonald's on street road. Every time I go to the street rd location I am met with good customer service and availability. Worst customer service ever. I arrived to the drive through line at 11:45, they close at 12. With only 3 cars in front, I knew I was ok. I finally get to the order window and they turn off the screens (it's exactly 12). A girl gets on the intercom to inform me they are closed and won't take my order. I explain I've been in line for 15 mins and I am THE LAST car in line. She just repeated that they are closed and ignored everything else I said. No one ever came back on the intercom. I had to continue driving without food thanks to this restaurants lack of decency to honor those who are in line before they close. I understand if I arrived after closing but I was waiting for a while. It is not the customers fault they took 15 minutes to take 3 people's order. I don't know which McDonald's the other reviewer went to but it certainly isn't the one that I go to every morning near work on Horizon Boulevard in Trevose. The five stars isn't for the food, which I don't eat. It's for their caramel frappes. I order one every single day. It is cheap, absolutely delicious and about a 1000 times better than Starbucks' overpriced caramel frappaccuino. It is also served in under a minute. Try getting anything from the Starbucks across the street in under five minutes and that's not even counting the line. There are also the friendliest, most personable and professional people working at this McDonald's. They literally put a smile on my face everytime I go, no matter what kind of day I am having at work. They seem to genuinely enjoy working at McDonald's and take pride in their work which is not the case at many fast food restaurants (like the Wendy's across the street near the Walmart). Kudos to this McDonald's location and keep up the great work. I have many co-workers who frequent this location who have nothing but good things to say. Ignore the "haters" and keep doing what you're doing! read more

i'm so disappointed, i had placed an order and when i went to to pick it up nothing was prepared and they had already charged me and "couldn't get my order" i had to place it again from my phone. I haven't been to a McDonald's in a long time, well I was craving a Big Mac yesterday & since I happen to be going over that way today, I decide to stop at the drive thru to get the Big Mac w/Bacon & a Medium Fries. I paid $8.29 for a cold & when I say cold I mean super cold with stall hard bread which the cheese was so cold it was not even slightly melted. As for the bacon there wasn't any on it. Since I was already 1/2 way home when I tried it, which I only live 2.5 miles away (not enough time for it to be that cold & stall) I didn't want to turn around in the pouring rain to get my $ back! The 2 bites I took made me feel sick to my stomach since the bread was hard & it was grossly cold. I was home & I tried to give to my dog & even the dog wouldn't eat it. Which is just great. I hope & pray I don't get sick since my dog wouldn't even eat it. The fries were Luke warm & ok not as bad but just ok but my dog would touch them either & they ate her favorite. When your own dog won't touch it you know it isn't good. I never write better reviews ever but I'm sorry this was the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted in my entire life especially coming from McDonald's. Hands down the worst service I have ever had. The store closed at 11pm. I ordered food from the drive thru at 10:40, and the manager was eating fries right out of the basket where they were made. My niece had her menstrual cycle, and she needed to use the bathroom. The manager Shrugged her shoulders and said, "No" and kept eating. She then gave us a refund, and told us that she is not serving us. We sat there and waited while the manager just kept eating. The Window was closed but we could hear her saying offensive racial slurs. Btw, my kids were in the car fast asleep. Thank god. I don't know where McDonald's finds these managers. read more

Okay, I've tried to give this McDonalds the benefit of the doubt, but I can no longer do that. On at least three separate occasions I've ordered food and the items placed in my bag were not what I've ordered. Once, I ordered a sausage biscuit with egg and cheese. What I received was an egg and cheese biscuit. Second time I ordered a Quarter Pounder with cheese. I received a sriracha big mac instead. Third time I ordered sweetened iced tea, but received unsweetened ice tea. Three strikes and you're out!
