The drive thru was long. I ordered my food and it was cold. The sweet tea was nasty so I just threw it out come on McDonald's.

I ordered my food online and showed proof of ordering it and they won't give me my food. Now my friend is crying ( balling her eyes out) because they were mean and did not given me my food. 934 York Road if you want customer service do not recommend going. Also when was the last time that place was check for rodents i'm pretty sure i saw a mouse. It it was mot a mouse i'm pretty sure that it was hair which is still very unhealthy. This location is one of the best on the Baltimore area. It is clean (bathrooms too) the food is hot, and they get the food orders out quickly for the drive-through. The workers are friendly and professional except for one time when a girl who was standing outside to take orders for the drive-through rolled her eyes after taking an order. To be honest, it was hot outside and she looked like she was miserable in the heat but--if you don't like what you're doing, don't make the quality of your service suffer, just do something else. Other than that one occasion with that one random employee, this place is great as far as McDonald's goes! read more

Sorry, the staff at this location absolutely leave you wanting more. Craving A steak egg and cheese bagel I pulled into McDonalds this morning. What a mistake that was. I am someone who truly cares about customer service and I believe the new generations have forgotten the necessity of good customer service. I pull in and a snarky child walks up to my car and says 'What do you want" I stopped her and said well, Hello I am doing great thank you so much for asking, how are you? Why should I take the time to review a fast food restaurant, especially when there are so many other entries to be placed? It's because I've ordered a lot of spicy McChicken's in my time and I feel the need to compose a comparative analysis here on Yelp. No, not really. The spicy McChicken at this McDonald's was actually probably the best I've had. As a McDonald's connosseur, having eaten at stops from California to New York, I felt obligated to let the public know that whoever had crafted my sandwich had unknowingly perfected the perfect chicken to mayonnaise ratio. Too many times I've had globs of mayonnaise slathered onto the buns. Biting into those just made me feel disgusting. The mayonnaise is supposed to be spread lightly, enough to complement the chicken by providing a rather sweet component. Unfortunately, this would have been the perfect sandwich if not for the skimping of lettuce, important in establishing the crunch factor and giving the sandwich some texture. Recommendation: Who can resist a $1 spicy sandwich loaded with protein? read more

Update from OG post with 1 STAR: (2 years after posting original) The restaurant has gone downhill recently. Everytime I go through the drive thru there is something always missing from my order or they messed up my order entirely. More recently, we went through the drive thru and both the 1st window and 2nd window had employees on their cellphone and socializing by just laughing around while working. Please do your job! How hard is it to put food in a bag?! OG post with 4 STARS: I'm a student at Towson University and have been eating here off and on for the past four years of school. Comparing McDonalds here in Towson to other restaurants across the nation I've been to with traveling, this one is better than most! It may have some generally slow and impolite employees most of the time but all-in-all, the restaurant has been recently renovated and cleaned up quite a bit. The service is generally really fast. Something that makes a difference is that most people in this restaurant respect you when your eating. Everyone tends to mind their own business, which makes it nicer to not have to worry about people looking and staring at you. This restaurant should have four stars but I labeled it with three due to the employees that work here. Extremely busy in the morning. Cars line the building and street. I go to this one often. This is a very busy spot, probably the busiest McD in the region. While the person taking orders was masked, her bad attitude was not. We arrived to McDonald's and waited very close to oncoming traffic due to the line. When it was finally our turn to order the very popular "travi patty", the lady taking orders walked away from our car without any warning. This is absolutely the worst McDonald's branch I've ever been in. I ordered on the touch screen around 11:07pm and got a simple snack size oreo McFlurry. The screen asked if I was dining in or taking out so I selected dining in. The screen then asked me to put in a number for the next available table marker so I typed in 53 and took a seat with my friends after they had done the same as me. I did not receive a receipt from the machine from which I placed my order in. After 20 minutes, I became worried about my order considering it was not busy and it was a small order. My friend Emma went up to ask about the orders and they started by rolling their eyes at her after she had waited 10 minutes in line. The employee said, "We called your number so we threw it out because you did not come up to get it." Let's refresh. My friends and I did not receive a RECEIPT to know the number that they were supposedly calling out. When we explained to them that we thought they would bring them out to us because we were asked to type in the table marker number, they told us that they do not bring food out after 8pm. How are we supposed to know that? Who gave them the right to belittle us in public like this? After this, they continued to complain that they are "just trying to clock out" while still avoiding the fact that my friends and I STILL do not have our snack size McFlurries. When they finally decided to make our flurries, they made 2 M&M and 1 Oreo, when we had just told them we ordered 2 Oreo and 1 M&M. Went through the drive through during what was an "off-peak" dining time. It took 10 minutes from the time I placed my order at the intercom until I reached the payment window at 2:10pm. Was told at the food pick up window after receiving only my soda that the rest of my order was not yet ready and was asked to pull into one of the reserved parking spots to wait for it. Three different employees came out to my vehicle with other people's orders. After the third, and waiting nearly 20 minutes since paying, I was finally brought the correct food, but incorrect sauce. Another employee brought me the sauce with an attitude. I left and then opened the bag to find the food was ice cold! It was probably sitting there ready the entire time! By far the worst place to get customer service. More than one occasion has our order been incorrect, we'd always wait 30 minutes just to get our food, and just tonight had dictated our decision to never eat at this particular McDonalds again. My friend and I paid for 2 LARGE meals, and walked out with 2 medium fries. We just wanted what we paid for. So imagine our surprise when we spoke to the manager to correct our order, they were unwilling to correct it until we "returned their medium fries." The manager thought giving us 1 large fries will compensate for their mistake, but, like I said, WE WANT WHAT WE PAID FOR. Our prayers to whoever got our hand-me-down fries, and it blows my mind how they think it'll "save them money" to return fries, but whatever helps your business LMAO. Never thought I would ever need to write a review for a McDonalds of all things, but the experiences at this particular establishment have been extremely disappointing and extremely frustrating. Let me just say that Uber eats is unreliable. But DeShawn the awesome McDonald's worker is not. Our Uber waited 45 mins to tell us they couldn't pick up our order, so when we made the trek in the rain to go pick up our food it was surprisingly not there. Worst McDonald's ever! Asked for a quarter pound hamburger at the drive thru and was told only had quarter pound cheeseburgers. Told the girl to go to the second screen. Was told they only have cheeseburgers and cheeseburgers with bacon. Told her again to go to second screen. Went through this several times. Someone else came to the speaker and also had troubles. Finally found the quarter pound hamburger on the second screen. At the window I told the young lady that she shouldn't continue arguing with the customer. She had an attitude so I asked for the manager. Had to ask twice. Manager came. I explained the problem. Young lady stood behind the manager and called me a "BITCH' and gave me the FINGER. I got upset and told the manager and she asked the young lady to go away. The young lady stood further back staring at me the entire time. I got a second manager ( dressed like an employee) and asked for the young lady's name (no one wore name tags). The young lady told me her name and even spelled it out for me. I was then asked if I wanted my food. I took it but it ended up in the trash. The final insult? I have waited almost 2 weeks for a reply from the "Hot LIne" for a response. read more

A clean, friendly, and modern McDonald's. I've made several trips to this McDonald's for years now. Even before the renovation it was still nice and clean and even the decor then looked fairly new. Now that the 2018 renovation is complete, it is even better. They added 4 large screens to order on, which is especially if the cash register has a line. It also allows for easy customization of your meal and getting a more compete picture of what they offer. The staff is wonderful. The ones I have interacted with are all kind and happy to assist in getting your meal as efficiently as possible. I observed the Manager on duty was effectively leading the team, taking orders during a busy dinner hour, and making sure orders got to customers timely. Later on, after the rush, I saw her putting fresh flowers into the vases in the dining room and I stopped to tell her that I loved the new restaurant and the screens and the McDonald's experience just improved all the more for me. She told me her name was Tanga and I left feeling happy this was my neighborhood McDonald's. Thank you Tanga and the team for a great experience time and time again. read more

I stopped in to get my son a sundae after a doctors appointment. While waiting in line, I witnessed an interaction between a customer and who I'm assuming was the manager, a short-haired African American woman. The customer was complaining at length and being pretty unpleasant but the manager never lost her cool. She was kind, polite, and professional to the customer and even redid the order twice when the customer continued to complain. After this ordeal, she then turned to us with a smile and asked how our day was going. I don't associate fast food with great customer service but this manager deserves a shoutout. She's setting a great example for her employees... and everyone else! read more
