Your typical McDonald's. Can never go wrong with the food you enjoy and come to expect. I come here for breakfast on my way home from work once a week to enjoy their breakfast! Reasons for my 4 stars 1. Frozen Coke machine is often down. Always have to substitute for a different flavor or get a refund. 2. Ice coffee is differently made 50% of the time. App lists liquid sugar as an ingredient, yet sometimes I get it with no flavor because it wasn't made right. Things I enjoy Love the Steak, egg and cheese bagels. Aweful McDonald's. No one is there, drive thru is almost empty, yet the service is still spectacularly SLOW. They DO NOT allow you to fill your own drink or get refills, so be prepared for a *mostly* full drink cup that's 1/2 ice. Forgot some of my food items and it was like pulling teeth getting them to give me the rest, despite having the tray full of food and receipt in hand. Won't be back. My first trip to the Golden Arches in a very long time. And it will be a while before I come back. Firstly, the only way to order is through a kiosk. It took us 5 minutes just to order. The UI was very confusing, and I'm a fairly technical person. The only interaction with a human we got was when the food was delivered to our table. As far as I can tell there was no way of getting extras like salt and pepper, etc. The furniture is OK looking, but pretty basic. There are also signs saying "No Loitering Please. Time Limit: 30 Minutes." Although they do have power outlets, so I assume you can charge your phone or do some quick work. The food was edible. Nothing special in any way. I want to start off by saying that I read most of the reviews and i honestly disagree quite a lot. 1. It is in fact not hard to use a kiosk it is actually quite easy, you don't have to be a technical expert to use a kiosk, employees will help you if you ask for help!!! 2. More often than not the reason it is slow is because they are very busy! This McDonald's gets busy quite a lot during the weekends and you cannot expect to get quick service when they have other customers and big orders. 3. The employees are very friendly, they had a left over ice cream and very kindly asked if I wanted it. I've never experienced any bad service here the employees have been nothing but nice to me. The food is always very fresh especially the fries, overall I would definitely recommend this McDonalds they are very friendly and they have a very clean lobby. read more

When we explained that the order was incorrect, the employee refused to fix it. We also pointed out that the two combos with orange juice were missing from the charge. The employee stated they were too busy to correct it. We offered to purchase the missing items, but she refused twice and insisted we would need to leave the drive-thru and come inside to order. Since we had kids with us and were on our way to a ski lesson, we asked if we could purchase the items directly at the drive-thru window. She slammed the window on us as we tried to clarify, refusing to assist further. This experience highlights three things no manager would want in their business: 1. Incorrect orders not being fixed. 2. Rude customer service interactions. 3. Lost revenue due to unwillingness to sell additional items. We understand mornings are busy, and the staff works hard, but a better policy for handling incorrect orders and accommodating customers wanting to make additional purchases would go a long way. read more

Extremley rude employees, go through the drive through, after specifying 5 times and they forgot my frys and burger, I walk in the store to tel them they forgot, each employee stares at me like im an attraction at the museum and proceed to not help me after 5 minutes a respectful young man came and helped, props to him. Buy a Big Mac get one free! Worst hamburger not a drip of juice left in the patty so dry and cold. Took it back inside to exchange. The manager says "it's free right?" then rolls her eyes at me because it's not edible! Fries same issue dry, cold and hard. ORANGE JUICE: 5/10 definitely not the best i've ever had. it was pretty tangy and kinda had a dish soapy after taste. will only be ordering orange juice again in extreme circumstances. the place was close to empty at about 10am on a Monday. the cashier didn't seem like she really wanted to be there. when i was ordering i asked for something off the lunch menu that i couldn't actually get because it was still breakfast time and when she informed me that i couldn't have chicken nuggets she sounded annoyed that i wasn't aware of this. my actual food was as good as mcdonald's gets. the ham in my egg mcmuffin was really hard to bite off so i just took it out. hash brown was good. location is kind of in the middle of nowhere, a cute spot i guess. read more

So how do you give a critical, discerning review to the largest, most consistent fast food brand in the world? LOL Well, not all McDonald's locations are 100% alike. While McDonald's corporate maintains strict controls on their franchisees, some locations slip through the cracks and get lazy. Not so with this one. And I have to say the employees really win the experience here. The location is rather old and dilapidated, which is entirely unacceptable because the franchisee also owns two of the newest remodeled locations in the area. Outdated dining room, crap restrooms, and no playground. However, every single face in this location will greet you with a smile and prompt service. Kudos to the staff! read more

Went through the drive thru and they were slow and confusing. I really can't stand people who do the grunge look at work, particularly when working with food. Your hair needs to be back, not hanging all over and messy. How do you keep your hair from getting in my food? Also I think it's better if shirts are clean, fitting and tucked in. Fast food is something I don't often do and I am always reminded why during my one visit a year. Our order was also wrong, even though the receipt with the specifications was hanging off the box. They mess up my drive through order every damn time. Either they give me someone else's order or half of what I ordered. Pisses me off. Food is fine. Check your items at the drive through. I don't know who or how many, but someone who works their and helps get drive through orders in the bag is not to be trusted with this detailed of a task. Therefore as the consumer protect yourself from this and check your order for yourself. Being polite by driving away as soon as they tell you that's everything will leave you frustrated as you realize your order is wrong. read more

Stopped here to get a much needed vanilla ice cream cone after a hike to Wallace Falls. Pretty much your standard, run-of-the mill McDonald's. Staff was friendly enough, ice cream was plentiful and cold, and the place seemed clean. Location is a little awkward, as it is located right off of a roundabout intersection. read more

Beyond outraged by McDonald's in sultan. Their establishment was filthy, and I've never seen such poor food service in my life; even in fast food. None of the workers looked like they knew what they were doing. None were wearing hair nets. A girl tried to give me a cup that fell on the ground. Disgusting all around. I originally got into the drive thru with two friends, we were going to do three separate orders, which I've done many times at other McDonalds, but they refused and insisted they could only do two per car. So they made me go inside. I waited ten minuted just to place my order and another 20 waiting for my food. To top it off my fries were cold as well. I'm kind of confused by the ratings here. I have family over the pass and frequent this place every few months. I have never been to a kinder McDonalds. They are quick (as long as it's not skiing season- they only have one drive thru and two registers, there's only so much they can do) and actually ask you how you are, or smile at you like they are happy you are there (which is huge in something as soul-killing as food service/ retail) I've never had an order wrong, even when I've asked for things like no bun when I was cutting back on gluten because of health issues. This is my favorite McDonalds and I wish I lived closer to it... but then again. Maybe I don't. read more

A favorite stop on the way to Steven's pass ski area. The staff is usually pretty efficient and friendly. Occasionally we eat inside, but the it's usually a drive through deal. They keep the interior and parking lot clean, it's standard McDonald's fare but with good service and a smile. read more

Wanted to stop for some coffee on my way back from Stevens pass, and apparently they decided to clean the coffee machine at 7pm. Great timing, I'm sure there's a lot of people who would want coffee on their trek home from the pass. Furthermore, while being stuck in the drive through with no order to receive at the window, the horribly maintained gutters are leaky and drip like crazy. This is going to make me a very very happy person writing this... where should i start..... THIS PLACE SUCKSSSSSSS. They never have pies (cmon at 9pm really?) the food is almost always cold, 9 times out of 10 they forget SOMETHING, oh and the staff is extremely rude. Last night for the umpteenth time we decided to go to the land of mcdonalds only to find as usual they were out of pies. Now normally I keep my mouth shut because its only a dollar pie but after what I've experienced with this place i was fed up so i asked politely if i could speak with the manager. A young man (i don't remember his name) came to the window and blankly looked at my boyfriend and i while two other employees gave us the stink eye. I kindly told him about all of our horrors (including last week 2 cold breakfast items- they were almost frozen mind you- and having to wait in line for 7 minutes because they forgot to give us our ice cream. Again, him and the two other employees hovering behind him stared at me blankly like i was speaking japanese or something. I flat out said "well you don't really seem to care" (he honestly, looked like he could give two poops about what i was saying, i mine as well have been talking to a brick wall.) and yet again, blankly looked at me, then laughed. After that I told him just an fyi and drove off, extremely angry. I ended up going somewhere else and spending $8.00 instead of the $2.00 I intended on spending leaving me with a VERY VERY sour taste in my mouth. Truthfully I think every employee who works nights should be fired. They're lazy. I wouldn't have minded waiting for the pies to cook but no one offered to make them. I was a manager at kfc for 3 years I know how this works. Atleast apologize or SOMETHING. I'm considering calling your corporate office about this. Have eaten here 4 or 5 times. I'm not a McD's fan as it is but it seems that their pricing increases every few months. I've lived in the area for two years now and the prices have changed at least 3 times. Not much value to a value meal anymore if you ask me. I pay over $8 for a meal and am still hungry afterwards. I will say that I'll never forget this McD's for a long time because of the time I was in line waiting for my food and as the car in front of me was leaving, some girl mooned me from the backseat of her friends crappy Honda civic. Lastly, it is annoying trying to get into the parking lot, there never seems to be a qualified manager on duty too because there won;t be anyone in the drive thru yet I'll still wait several minutes to be even helped. Stopped here to use the bathroom and get a snack after a drive up Steven's Pass. While washing my hands with my young son, we watched an employee come into the bathroom, heard her use the toilet, then watched her leave the bathroom WITHOUT washing her hands. I'm glad we used he bathroom before ordering. After seeing the employee leave without washing her hands, then immediately resume work behind the counter, we decided not to order anything. Live In Goldbar and went to McDonalds in Sultan Wa been going for years nothing ever changes till today .A very kind young dark haired girl trying to explain her shorter like me lol always nice went around five pm or so we had a coupon buy one get one free .She said this is no good you don't need it today I can give you a better deal I look at her like she crazy I said on what she said on anything you want .Sounded crazy but order she said I need you to do something for me of course I thought new there was catch lol tell him you love him caught us off guard so she said give each other a huge we did she said your food is free .What a sweat heart she picked us I watched as others came in and they paid .Thank you Sultan McDonalds for giving back and she could used it on freinds, family which I am sure many due but not her never saw her before but we usually go threw drive threw and she picked us I am proud to see she picked us.We eat at McDonalds a lot and have travels doing so and you win the hundred percent kindness award young lady actually I see many young people that work at McDonalds Worried about there friends that come in or cute boys or girls they are waiting on or coworkers and ignore us customers .Happens about 80 percent of the time its sad they mess my order up I half to bring it back in Sultan the manager brought my order back to fix lol it was wrong for here they didn't do it the way she asked it be done.Buy the third time she said I am so embarresed I said now you understand what I feel when they never get my order right allergic to pickles.
