What is going on with fast food these days? It feels like every place is getting slower and slower. I ordered ahead digitally at McDonald's today, thinking it would save time. When I arrived, the drive-through line was backed up, so I went inside to pick up my food... only to be told I had to go through the drive-through anyway. Very frustrating, especially since I had already paid. So, I waited. They only had one drive-through lane open, and by the time I actually got my food, 16 minutes had passed since my order went through (arriving on location and I got my order confirmation). For that kind of wait, I could have gone to a sit-down restaurant and paid about the same. I just don't understand why fast food places aren't fixing these issues...the whole point is supposed to be fast service. read more

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. My order (TS23ZD17) was a Snack Wrap Medium Meal, which comes with two Snack Wraps, fries, and a drink, and I chose a lemonade. I also ordered a Daily Double with extra onions, extra mayonnaise, extra tomatoes, and extra lettuce. Despite the Snack Wrap meal including two wraps, I only received one. The order arrived very quickly, so I don't believe the delivery driver was responsible for the issues. The fries were cold and had little to no salt, the chicken in the Snack Wrap had an unpleasant texture like it had been sitting out for hours, and the lettuce was old enough that I couldn't eat it. The Daily Double was also cold, including the meat, with old, soggy tomatoes that tasted horrible. The lettuce on the burger also seemed old, although it wasn't nearly as bad as the lettuce in the Snack Wrap. Between the missing Snack Wrap, cold food, and poor-quality ingredients, this was an extremely disappointing order. read more

Disappointed in my iced coffee. I ordered a large vanilla iced coffee with caramel drizzle and cool whip on top. Coffee was warm and had literally 5 pieces of ice. The caramel drizzle was not drizzling. Unsatisfied nurse who really needed a delicious coffee today. read more

As a 3 time retired combat veteran I went there on Veterans Day because online it said you could get a free combo meal as a veteran on Veterans Day. Wrong. This by far has to be one of the poorest ran and worse McDonald's in the area. Every time I go here they cannot get our order right. We literally order the same thing at every McDonald's we go to and never have an issue. My daughter doesn't drink pop, tea or juices of any kind she only likes water. Every time we order the happy meal and ask for water they say we can't give you water??!!! Every other McDonald's I've ever been too has no problem doing it. So I always end up having to pay an additional price so they'll give her a bottle of water. It's water not like it's a specialty item! Not to mention never getting my order correct either. I arrived at 3:00am which granted is late but I work at the bars and I get there late most times I go. I sat in line for 15 minutes to get to the speaker only to sit at the speaker for 45 minutes just to get told now I can only buy breakfast when I had been waiting an hour for nuggets and fries. I then waited another 15 - 20minutes for my food while sitting at the window. Not a good place to go late at night. Go to Wattaburger you can get what you've been waiting for after an hour in their line. Not only that but I just got home and my order is wrong. read more

It's McDonalds.. you get what you pay for. I'd love to leave a better review but the truth is I had to make the decision to no longer give this business my money. As a previous fast food worker, and employee of the food service industry in general, I ALWAYS try to give the benefit of the doubt. However BOTH locations in Stillwater, OK (specifically the one located on 6th Ave) Mess up my order EVERY SINGLE TIME. I can see every now and then, or with a new employee learning etc.. but these are the same people that have been there for years. I am also fully aware that lunch time can be extremely busy. BUT, when you are in a large college town and are located on or near campus, you should plan accordingly. A customer having to wait nearly 30 minutes for an order in drive thru is far from acceptable. If you're looking for decent food with faster service, I suggest anywhere other than McDonalds. read more

They stopped serving breakfast all day but they're website says they are supposed to serve from 5-11:30am on fridays as opposed to 5-11 every other day so I went and got there at 11 on a Friday and they had stopped serving breakfast and the app said they had been serving lunch from 10:30am. Just had possibly the worst eating experience of my life. Let me preface this by saying that I have been in town for almost 5 years now and have never had nearly as bad a time as I just did, and this took place at 4:00 AM (not drunk, although I wish I had been now), when there was seemingly little traffic and few people scrambling for breakfast. (See what I did there?) I usually don't go to McDonald's any more, for obvious reasons, but with one being so close to my house and my hunger being so strong, I decided, eh, I'll go back and take a shot at an Egg White Delight McMuffin. Didn't happen. I still don't know if the first intercom became broken halfway through my order or not... I tried to order and then was asked if I wanted anything else, when I asked for the double cheeseburger my buddy had asked me to get. I then waited for nearly ten minutes, with intermittent "hello?"s... I decided to finally pull forward to the first window. Nobody. Second window. Finally, a fumbling, bumbling idiot. I find out that they didn't place my order. I agreed to wait, and did for 10 minutes while I watched a few more buffoons wander around. I WATCHED A YOUNG MAN WALK OVER IN FRONT OF THE WINDOW, GRAB A CUP, TURN HIS BACK, SET IT BACK DOWN, AND WALK INTO THE KITCHEN. Nothing going on between the ears at this place. I finally received two double cheeseburgers since they could not serve me the Egg White Delight McMuffin I initially wanted... after nearly 25 minutes in line. The burgers I got were cold as if they hadn't prepared any food in the last hour or two and they were all that was left. I hope that nobody ever has to go through what I did this morning. I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy. I now have heartburn. If this is my last post on the internet, I want everyone to know that I loved. My time on the internet may have been spent in jest, but it was also a time to attain and spread knowledge, which to me, is a noble quest. I digress. Even you are better than this, McDonald's. I have had many issues with this mcdonalds. One being that they didnt have sweet tea made, it was late at night but they are a 24hour establishment and i feel they should be more prepared if they are going to be open all night. Today they dumped my fries into my bag. I get that they want to be fast but at the time i went there was no one in front of me an one car behind me and i wish they would have taken the extra second to simply place my fries in bag. I would've given zero stars, but that isn't an option. I understand being unhappy or having a bad day, however, that doesn't give you the right to yell through the speaker box at the customers in the drive through. The woman speaking to me proceeded to yell out of the speaker box in a hateful way, several times mind you, and got increasingly more frustrated when she couldn't hear me speak back to her because my car was too far away. When I pulled up to the window, she proceeded to shoot me a death glare, and then it took twenty minutes (no exaggeration, they asked me to pull into a parking spot) to get a 20 piece nugget and a large fry. The woman being hateful had a cherry color dyed hair, and was working the second window. I highly suggest going to the other McDonalds on the opposite side of town, or just go to whataburger. They refuse to fill up the large drinks. There is over an inch of empty air at the top of the cup. They are cheating the customers knowingly. Twice I have said something about it. They just argue with me. They already reduced the size of the "large" cups. They keep finding ways to give the customer less. I won't be back. read more
