I now understand why this McD's has such a low review. Situated in a relatively new development off 606, there are plenty of vehicular traffic into this retail area. My kiddos and I visited the Monkey Joe's nearby and decided to have lunch at the nearby McD's. I'm not a big fan of ordering on their electronic kiosks instead of the counter, but I didnt see anyone at the counter so here I am with 3 kids trying to order 3 kids happy meals. I immediately noticed that the prices for the happy meals were easily minimum 80 cents more per meal. Anyways, I clicked through the menu, get my table # and almost 15 min later did my kiddos' meals arrive. So, the girl's shopkins toys and the boys' hot wheel toys ended up being the same minion toy, yep, 3 of the exact same toy. And the signature sauce that I chose for the nuggets happy meal weren't in the happy meal boxes. And the yogurt parfait I ordered, it was 3/4 hard as a rock frozen strawberries with merely a dollop of yogurt. Yeah, unfortunately, this franchised branch needs to step up. Been to this location two times recently for Drink and fries. It is so disappointing that both times the same person taking payments is handing out your food and drink with no gloves. They are not following Covid guidelines whatsoever, the associates are also not wearing face masks. The young guy made My Milkshake without gloves or wearing a mask and since I'm pregnant I was too afraid to consume my order. Associates go from taking payments, cards and cash to prepping your drinks, giving you ketchup and extra sauces so unhygienic. Check their other reviews!!! Make sure u check your coffee. These guys never fill your cup to the line. I know it may sound petty, but a half inch below the line in a large cup is equal to half the volume received from a small cup. I'm so impressionable, I'm like a PR agent's wet dream. Stopped by to try the new Chipotle Angus burger or wrap, but the chick manning the drive-thru had no idea what I was talking about. So with some puzzlement, I went with the usual five-piece Chicken Selects meal. This place is understaff. The floor supervisor is unfriendly and rude. When you come in at 10:14AM on Saturday morning, you must expect the food menu is ready. However, it is not the case in this store. I order 20 pieces chicken nuggets. The floor supervision said "sorry, we don't have it this time". I then order 2 kid-meals for my children. She again said "sorry, we don't have kid-meals yet" I was flipped out and wonder how a big McDonald store like this, the menu doesn't serve a basic thing. This place sucks. This is just about the worst Mcdonalds I have ever been to. I have been coming here for a couple of weeks once a week while my daughter trains at the tym across the parking lost. It is always a mess. A few weeks ago, each time I came in there were open boxes of food sitting on the counter where customers order and the place was just chaotic - my burger came without the actual meat in the burger. Now there seems to be a new young manager that seems industrious and polite but he is the only one. There is a very young group of people working here - laughing and making a lot of noise behind the counter but doing little. It literally took 10 minutes to place my order and there was only one person in front of me. The counter person, Hana, understood virtually no English and had to ask me five times what I was ordering (a large filet of fish meal and a McDouble). Later the entire group of kids behind the counter were arguing for 15 minutes about who would have to clean up a table that the customers had left their trays and drinks on. THIS McDONALD'S IS TERRIBLE. First of all I ordered a Crispy Chicken Sandwhich meal. I get home and I have a grilled chicken sandwhich with only one piece of bread and cold fries. I went back inside to talk to the manager about my sandwhich. The manager tell ones of the workers to fixed the sandwhich. I open it up in the restaurant to find out that IT WAS STILL WRONG. They probably just slapped the other piece of bread on the sandwhich and handed it back to me. So again, they went back for the third time to get it right. Then I had to ask for hot fries. If this was any type of good customer service restaurant they should have just done it. I shouldn't have to ask. I ordered the meal together. I want everything hot at once not a hot sandwhich and cold, chewy fries. Take my advice, go to the McDonald at the corner of Dranesville Rd and Leesburg Pike. read more
