Cold and poorly prepared breakfast items and bad coffee. Sausage egg mcmuffin was lukewarm, dry, and chewy with eggshell bits for crunch. Breakfast burrito was cold and gross but I did get 6 packets of picante sauce with it for some reason when 1 would suffice. Carmel iced coffee was handed to me dripping with coffee and syrup all over the outside of the cup. Got all over my hands and dripped on my clothes. I had to wait to get my bag of food with napkins to clean it up before I could put it down. Coffee taste was not great, very burnt. The only saving grace was the hashbrown which was good/standard. I wouldn't have written this review had this been the first time but the poor quality seems to be par for the course with this Spring Grove McDonald's franchisee location. This is the last time I make the mistake of grabbing breakfast at this location out of convenience. Trying to order for a drive-thru pickup, I went inside the restaurant because my app wasn't working. A nice young man at the counter tried to get it to work to no avail. I had placed the order in the app and Apple paid 4 times, but neither he nor I old get the order submitted successfully. He stepped away (I had no idea where he went). A very hurried, rude lady named Kathy came to the counter. I was in complete limbo wondering about the status of my order. After asking about my order, Kathy told me the young man was getting my order and he was personally going to pay for it. I told her I didn't want him to pay for it and in a stern voice, she said, "calm down" and indicated she had other people to take care of. She seemed flustered and dismissed me very quickly. I waited in line forever, once I got to the first window, I asked aren't they supposed to have cars pull over if their order isn't ready? The girl said, if you want to talk to my manager I can get her, I can't say anything to her or I will get in trouble. Next thing I know, the manager comes to the window, and I repeated myself. I think I waited almost 10 minutes for that car that was first in line. The manager told me: We are allowed to have people wait for their french fries a certain amount of time, and slammed the window before I could say anything else. Once I got to the pick up window, I was immediately told to drive up to wait for my food. I pulled up as instructed and the manager came with my food. I told her I would be writing a complaint for her slamming the window on me. She said, I don't need you to tell me how to do my job! And slammed the window again on me. I do not know what their problem is at that location but it is always a problem. They are clearly disgruntled employees, I was afraid to eat my fish filet. We came here this morning for breakfast. We ordered a steak Mcmuffin for me, a steak bagel for my wife, along with a couple of hash browns, an iced tea and coffee. We ate inside so they gave us a number to put on the table so we could sit down and they would bring us our food. We were the only ones at the counter when we placed our order. Just as we sat down they got slammed. All of a sudden there were about ten people at the counter. We waited for our food when I noticed there were only a couple of people left at the counter. I looked around and noticed that the people that came in after us waited at the counter for their food and were already sitting down eating. My wife went up to the counter to ask where our order was when they decided to bring it out. If the manager reads this, do away with the table service. It doesn't work. Also on that point, we usually go through the drive thru. When we go to McDonald's, it's because we are in a hurry and we are on our way somewhere. Every single time we have gone to this McDonald's drive thru they have made us wait. They tell us to pull up into the drive thru waiting area. Again, we go to the drive thru because we are in a hurry. Today, the kid at the counter was nice and respectful. The food is McDonald's. Getting more expensive with less and less meat on your sandwich. But as long as people keep buying it, it will continue like this. read more

The so called manager Leah was hanging out the window having a non ending conversation with the rude woman. This manager Leah had a line of cars backed up behind me... She didn't care. If I could give it no stars I would. They were so rude. They wouldn't allow the entire group to go in (there were 5 of us) due to covid. We apologized and started walking out and they started screaming at us to get out as we were turning around to walk out. We were here over Memorial Day weekend, on Friday night, and we waited 30 mins for our three sandwiches. We got there at 10:45 p.m. Made the mistake of driving off, and someone was missing their Rolo McFlurry. Had to turn around and go back. At that point, it was 11:30. There were only two or three guys working. When we were at the first window, a worker ran out of the back office and yelled "f*ck." Idk if he was overwhelmed at the long line. Idk if someone didn't come in for their shift. Something is really screwed up. Wait times keep going up. Literally the WORST McDonald's ever!!!!! It's a mile away from my Home. Awful service. They always forget my sweet and sour sauce for my chicken nuggets- I just LOVE eating dry nuggets with no flavor. When I came up the drive up today, two employees were arguing ... I could hear the entire argument from my car. They gave me the wrong quarter pounder.. and regarding the two filet o fishes I ordered, the filets were barely on the bun. I also ordered two cokes and two dr peppers- of which I got all dr peppers.. apparently the employees are choosing what I eat now. Came to the window about 5 minutes later due to morning rush, to find my mocha with no ice, the whip cream all melted, the mocha at the bottom already gone. But nothing grossed me out more than the fact it was also room temperature. The taste, and warmth of it combined, made me spit it out as a reaction. Finally after waiting for ten to fifteen minutes with no cars in the drive thru I drove to the drive thru stating I had been waiting for my curbside order for almost fifteen minutes.
