This location always was great for me, my little cousin used to work at this one when she was in high school and yes they are VERY clean behind the scenes which gives me a little comfort because fast food is a hit or miss but this one's a good one! We would come in and say hello to her to grab their "cookie totes" not the healthiest of sweet treats but DANG they make them fresh here and good. But that being said we would have a great time and laugh it's a very chill vibe where you can come dressed extremely relaxed if you know what I mean lol Customer service is excellent they're extremely nice and patient when I go to pull up my app while other employees at your typical fast food restaurant might not be as nice or patient. This McDonald's is horrible. The customer service is extremely bad and they change your order. I ordered a large fry. They ended up giving me a medium fry and now there are saying they weigh the fry so they do not feel the french fry container up. I ordered a sweet tea and they gave me a non-sweet tea. I actually had to call the police on this McDonald's. Placed an order on the machine, paid for my food. Then the machine gliched. They refused to give me my food even though they admitted the machine gliched. I showed them the charge on my bank account and I was told I would have to pay again and that the charge would drop off. I explained i did not trust that as it showed the charge had already gone through. Asked for a manager, about 15 minutes later a young women with a terrible attitude came out and claimed she was a manager but not on the floor at the moment so she couldn't help me, all she said she knew was that i would have to pay again for my food if i wanted it. Waited about 10 more minutes and asked Nicole at the front if a manager would be coming to help me. She stated she didn't know. At this point I called the police to report petty theft on them. While on the phone with the police a young man came out and stated he was a manager. He finally offered to give me my order. So after about 45 min I left with my food. The payment did go through and never dropped off of my account. If I had paid them again like they asked me to I would have paid them twice for my food. Not good business... We tend to stop at McDonald's when we are in Sonora running errands to get food for our kids, but don't bother ordering a soft drink unless you want something undrinkable. We have gone to this location probably every other week May-July. Every single time the sodas taste severely like the soda fountains have not been cleaned or the ice is bad. We know it's an issue with cleaning the machine because after we tried Sprite and Dr Pepper and none of us could drink them we went to the other McDonald's up by standard and they were great. 1. Doors were locked until about 6:35ish even though the time sheet says open at six. I knocked on the door for about 10 minutes before some girl came and unlocked it. She was rude and had an attitude the entire time we were in the store and the MULTIPLE times we had to go back inside the store from our car to get our orders fixed. 2. At first I had a bad experience, the lady delivering my food to my car was rude and when I explained my order was wrong she stated I was wrong and she would go get the receipt to show me I was wrong. Well I called the store as this lady tried to tell me she was the manager and I actually got to speak to the manager Anthony. Don't normally have an issue with this location. But the other day in the drive-through, I ordered a mocha Frappuccino. I understand with Covid all of the things we've all gone through. People are very difficult to deal with sometimes, but there is literally no reason to be extremely rude as a service worker. Just had the weirdest experience at this McDonald's. I ordered 160 chicken nuggets for a bunch of coworkers, and I was told that I could only get 24 sauce packets and that I would have to be charged for any additional sauces. That was already strange because I have gone to this location and several others in the past and gotten 80 nuggets and gotten the same amount of sauces. Came back from a night at the casino hungry and tired. We check for someplace open in Sonora to get a quick bite before heading back to the hotel. We check the internet and found that McD's was open until midnight. It's was only 10:55 and the place was dark and empty. The Sonora McDonald's may actually impress you, which says a lot. The modern restaurant is located on the east side of town near Mono Way and Highway 108. Inside, the restaurant is surprisingly clean and modern with an upscale look and feel. There is a drive thru window and lots of parking. The menu is the same as other McDonald's, but I really like the upscale look and local imagery inside. Your results may vary, but this McDonald's is a nice stop for a quick meal on your journey. read more

This is the best MCDonalds I've been to in years. The manager runs a tight ship and the store is immaculate. Clean bathrooms, floors, tables, and the employees were so kind and they were even singing! One of your employees has the voice of an angel. The burger was FRESH and grease was running down my arm it was soo juicy. The fries were HOT and CRISP and the pickles were crisp and tangy. I haven't been to a McDonald's like this in years. Okay Okay! McDonald's has a lot of locations but I stop here because it is the closes. From other reviews I have read about this place is not actually popular because customer service is bad. To be quite honest when I went by it was okay. The food was not bad, I mean it is McDonald's. I got the J Balvin meal which was so yummy and delicious I would go get more. Luckily the ice cream machine was not broken (if you know you know). It had the best ratio of oreo to vanilla ice cream. Probably wouldn' come back because of the other reviews, but the food was yummy. This McDonalds does not have the dining area yet open so you would need a car to get some food, because of the pandemic going on. I believe they have limited the number of workers working at the time. Other than that would definitely recommend if you just need a quick bite or something to eat. read more

Everytime I order breakfast in the morning I order sausage mcmuffins and hash browns. That's it. Everytime I go to eat the hash browns they're not there. I'm paying for them and they're not given to me. Today was number 7 that I didn't receive the hash browns I ordered. 8 bucks for one sausage McMuffin and it's been the last 7 times now lol.
