$13.50 for a breakfast with orange juice and they didn't even give me credit for the coffee like the menu board said. The kid behind the counter was dumb as a rock no offense but obviously he was not trained properly in the upsell or the substitutions. I mean seriously $13.50 for one sandwich a small potato cake and an orange juice and this is McDonald's it's not even IHOP or Denny's. The price is now or just insane at this location I absolutely do not recommend it unless you are about to run out of gas and just can't wait another 5 minutes to go to Dick's or another location but I will never come here to this location again it is off my list. read more

I live nearby and have been coming to this McDonald's a couple of times a week for years. It was always great with staff I recognized and very rarely would an order be incorrect. But for the past several months the service has become incredibly bad. They start to hand me the wrong order almost every time and I have to show them the order on my phone for them to get it right. The past 2 times I went they "forgot" ingredients on our sandwiches, like the bacon the first time and the sauce the second. I also don't recognize a single person working there any more. I don't want to change sites because this one is very close to where I live but I am not comfortable going there any more. I called the corporate office and filed a complaint. I hope they investigate because this is not McDonald's quality. EDIT: I usually go in the morning or afternoon, but thought I'd try the evening thinking it would be different employees and may be a better experience, but it was the worst yet. First the lady at the window wouldn't give me my food. She kept asking "Is this your order?" and showing me the receipt, and I kept saying "Yes it is, just give me my food." But she did it several more times before finally handing me my food. I pulled over to check my order and the new Golden chicken sandwich had no toppings. It was just a chicken patty on a plain bun. I went inside and showed them and asked for what I had ordered and they brought me the deluxe one that has lettuce and tomatoes that I didn't want. I had to explain again what I had ordered and finally got the right thing. The lady at the counter was very rude about the whole thing. I'm not wrong for wanting to get what I ordered. read more

It was a childhood favorite , Big Mac fries coke or hamburger, great family memories, but no more those memories are just that worthless today.It's all about speed and time in the window and the next dollar , especially in his case the drive thru. By the receipt I got a drink a number #5 and 2 extra sandwiches, I didn't get any sauce or fries,( no experience person in drive thru), 10 McNugget m1-lrg ( stands for where's the fries)..it's my fault I thought it was common knowledge that meals come with fries, large fries. Got the food and started to eat like everyone, but no sauce, now I have to walk in which I should of did in the first place and ask for sauce, I was given some in my bag with extra force. Now I'm getting "hot" , I should ask for a refund but when your hungry you just suck it up and leave, which I did , just I get 10 mins away I ask the gf now I ready for some fries, she replied no fries . Good lord , forget it I'm not going back now ,I just eat something at home to fill in the empty space. How ironic two mistakes and I wind up eat at home which would save me 18 and in change. I was badly in need of caffeine today so I went to the drive-through window and ordered a Diet Coke. The screen showed an extra charge for the "Sweetened Beverage Tax." However, diet beverages are exempt from this tax. When I asked at the window, the clerk just kept repeating that I needed to pay the sugar tax. I canceled the order and got something elsewhere where they weren't trying to levy bogus charges. read more

If I could rate 0 stars I would, this McDonald's sucks. The employees and manager all have an attitude. I went through the drive thru and asked for 2 meals with 2 fries no salt, I tell the lady she charged me for an extra drink, she then yelled at me "THERES ONLY 2 DRINKS" even though I can clearly see on the screen an extra drink was added. Double checked at the window and sure enough she over charged me for the drink I tried to tell her I did not want. I get to the window and tell the manager what happened & Im given my refund In cash(which is fine) but she was just so rude and walked away as I was trying to talk to her. I drive all the way home which Im about 10 mins away just to find out Im given the wrong order. I had to drive all the way back to get the order fixed and Im given cold fries. This is the single worst McDonald's that I have ever been to, and that's saying something. This is conveniently located next to a chevron that I occasionally stop at in the way to work, so I've given them a few too many chances. Important to note, this review is not related to the quality of McDonald's as a chain, the food is fine, it tastes good and it's reliably consistent across MOST franchises. You will not get what you order, ever. You will get whatever they had made, thrown into a bag together. This morning I ordered a Sausage McGriddle Meal, with a coffee. I received the coffee (big win for this location in all honesty), and a bag with 2 Sausage McMuffins and a sausage burrito. No sausage McGriddle, no hash browns. As much as it sounds like a joke, it was surprising that they got the sausage part right. Your best bet here is if you want a cheeseburger, order a MChicken and they might give you the cheeseburger you wanted. Honestly this location isn't worth it, continue along the same road and you'll find a real McDonald's in either direction. Had I known that this location was connected to a gas station, I would've drove 8 minutes to the next location over. It's never a good sign when a fast food establishment is connected to a gas station. Lol. My friend drove me to this location and when I realized that it's connected to a gas station, I didn't want to inconvenience my friend by having him drive me to another location. We went to the drive-thru at around 10 PM, and there was a homeless man loitering around. As soon as we rolled down our window to order, he was panhandling and harassing us for money. This McDonald's seems like corporate doesn't invest any money into them at all. They still had the same old original drive thru speaker, while all of the other locations have upgraded digital TVs. I ordered a large Buttermilk Crispy Chicken meal, and the worker was okay. She wasn't friendly, nor was she rude. The food was the worst McDonald's I've ever had in my life. Instead of one slice of tomato that usually comes on the burger, I got 3 small tomato slices. It made eating the burger hard because with every bite, the tomato would just fall out everywhere. The chicken patty seemed like it had been sitting there for hours. It was dry, flavorless, and not crunchy at all. The fries were also cold and stale. I ended up throwing away the entire meal after a couple of bites, which was extremely disappointing since McDonald's in Seattle is no longer cheap. It was $11.35 for the meal including tax. If you drive up north or down south, McDonald's is 2x cheaper. All of the locations in Seattle charge you an arm and a leg because it's Seattle. On top of that, all of the fry sizes in Seattle are 2x smaller than the surrounding cities outside of Seattle. I'll give them 2 stars since I didn't have any issues with the customer service, but 1 star for the food overall. Skip this location!!! read more

Every now and again I get a craving for a Fish fillet and McDonald's coffee. Their drip coffee is actually a better alternative to Starbucks drip. This location however is one of my least favorites. Most of the staff acts like they hate working there. The food is cold and stale. And on occasion when I go inside vs the drive thru the tables are always filthy. Why is a Fish Fillet $4.59? The beauty of this location is that it's connected to a convenience store. So if you want to buy some snacks or coffee at the convenience store, you're more than welcome to walk it over to McDonald's to consume with your burger. I like this set-up, I've noticed McDonald's is opening up more and more of these. It's really a win-win situation. This way, McDonald's doesn't have to stock items like newspapers because there's a convenience store 25 feet away. I imagine that alone is a huge relief for the manager, who sees no profit from selling newspapers. Or, if a parent wants a particular type of milk for his child, he doesn't have to just pick the McDonald's brand. Also a plus for this location is that there's a Tully's in the same parking lot. The watered-down Seattle's Best Coffee (SBC) that McDonald's currently serves is extremely mediocre, perhaps its the same coffee that SBC used to serve but watered down to half-strength. Anyway, you can solve this little dilemma by picking up a nice hot cup of Tully's, one of the only significant competitors to Starbucks hegemony. read more

I have reviewed a few McDonald's in my time, and as I've said before, we all know that it's, well, a McDonald's. You know what to expect here - you don't go in assuming you'll get the best food of all time. This location, however, isn't as good as some. I've been through the drive-thru twice and ate in the restaurant once. Both times, the lines for the drive-thru were quite long and moved sloooowly. This was frustrating when all I wanted was to get a milkshake and go. Eating inside was okay, but kind of awkward with the convenience store attached. There's not a huge amount of seating and it feels a bit cramped. We had a hell of a time getting our order taken when we ate inside. I'm not sure if it was a new employee or what, but they didn't seem to understand what my dad was ordering and it took some time to get the final bill figured out. Seems like it should be pretty straight forward to me. Overall, if I'm going to go to a McDonald's in Ballard, I'd much rather check out the one near 15th & Market. read more

On the website it says 11am, when I asked when they changed it to 10:40am I wasn't given an answer. So I order the QP/C meal and then they tell me I can't have the free QP/C because I got the meal and not the burger on its own. We occasionally come here for an iced coffee. Today I went inside to order while my partner got gas. It was very simple, two large iced coffees, no cream, no sugar, and no flavoring. Granted the cashier seemed new (she didn't know where the iced coffee butto was and the manager had to show her) she asked me how I wanted the coffee and I told her. Another employee who may have been assistant manager helped her and then she called my order and they were a very light tan from all the cream. I explained to the more experienced employee I had asked for the coffee with no cream or sugar and she told me that next time I need to tell them that....I DID! She wasn't very polite and was blaming me for the mistake. Very rude...I think next time we'll just wait and go to the Starbucks down the road by the QFC. read more
