Came here the other night at about 8:30 pm, for a quick bite with two younglings. It was their idea, of course. Now, this location, known for its less-than-stellar reputation, managed to surprise us during this visit! We decided to eat in, and the dining room was very quiet. We ordered via the self-order kiosks, a first for me, and it went very well. We typed in a table number, took the receipt, and waited. The food came rather quickly and was trayed nicely. Everything was there, and hot! Yummy. The server who brought the tray was friendly and efficient, asking if we needed anything else. We did not, and settled into the meal. All the food was up to McDonald's standards. A Happy Meal with nuggets, a chocolate shake, a nuggets meal, fries, and Sprite, and I think we were done. The food was good quality and hot, the service efficient - although some was self-serve - and the dining room was clean and modern. So, yeah - 4 stars!

Old egg crusted to the hard tortilla

This place is disgusting they admitted to me that they make all the breakfast for 24hrs in advance and that they have 34 hrs to sell it all it's gross I got a breakfast burrito meal and felt the burritos they were hard and clearly old when I asked for fresh they said the burritos were as fresh as I was going to get because they make them in advance of 24hrs and then I requested a refund for my food and they were super rude about it all this place needs to be shut down no McDonalds is not good quality but at least provide people with food that wasn't made 24 hrs prior that's hard and gross it's disgusting

They always treated me right. However today, after I finished my fries, I realized that they forgot to give me my two sweet and sour sauces for my 5 dollar meals. Kind of upset over that

Pill from fountain soda

I had a pink pill capsule in my drink!!! Be careful!! I don't own any pink pills, I drank my soda dumped the ice in my sink and there it was with the ice!!

After my long day like many others, I am on my way home and I decided to drive through McDonald's to get a meal for me and someone else and I couldn't tell you how many times I've gotten home and had half the meal missing, yet again messing up my order to me what can only eventually feel like it's on purpose and someone there is scamming money both from its customers and the establishment, from what I had already purchased and never been compensated for which has happened again tonight again With my stupid Big Mac. I don't know why I care so much except for the fact that it happens over and over and over again and I don't know whether or not if these guys working here or trying to rip people off on purpose, but it's starting to get real frustrating. My problem is I actually like McDonald's but I keep getting bad service and ripped off over and over again. I don't know what the heck is wrong with me. I shouldn't be eating fast food anyway. What's even more comical is that I called the 800 number and spoke to Loretta on there and she said that I should just sit back and wait for a call back and something would be happening. What a joke you might as well rather than saying thank you valued customer, you should say thanks for throwing your money away here. Honestly, I've had better McDonald's service anywhere outside of Marin. I don't know what's wrong here. does anyone else agree with me and understand and feel the same way I feel like I can't be the only one that's getting ripped off here.

My brother traverses this section of the 101 frequently. He was the one who recommended this McDonald's for a quick drive-through location when the crew was thirsty a few weeks ago. True to his assessment, it was close to a freeway off-ramp, and easy to get back on when headed south. The location is older, and the parking lot striping to get to the drive-through lane is rather funky and tight. Still, we made it to the promised land of the ordering box. The staff members were friendly, and they got our order right. Always a plus. Seems like other Yelpers don't care for this location much, but it worked out fine for us. Getting back on the highway going south, you have to be prepared to get up to speed quickly. Hopefully, you're fueled up enough with food / sugar / caffeine after your Mickey D's break to make it happen!

I honestly didn't realize how much I'd enjoy playing pinball until coming here--there aren't many spots that have that kind of unique feature anymore, and it really added to the experience. I went for a Yelp Elite event, and it was great. The owner was there and super welcoming, and his staff were genuinely nice and attentive. We were given bracelets that gave us access to two drinks, which was a fun self-pour experience. That said, it would've been helpful to get a quick tip on pouring (like tilting your glass) beforehand--foam can sneak up on you fast , especially with so many people around. Because it was busy, we were also given a card that allowed unlimited access to the games, which was awesome and made the night even better. I definitely enjoyed my time here. The owner also mentioned that you can rent individual tables or even the whole venue for events, which is something I'd absolutely consider in the future. I'll definitely be back.

They had huge tvs playing sports which entertained the kiddo quite a bit. Breakfast Bravas ($19): The crispy potato coins + pork + runny egg + avocado + chipotle cream = elite combo!!! Stateroom Burger ($20): Cheese is not included and is an extra $2 (???). It was stacked though and hubby could only eat half before he was stuffed! I will absolutely be back for the bottomless mimosas ($25) and I'm curious about the dirty iced chi tea ($14). My daughter also loved all the magnets on the fence in their mini play area :)

Lots of seating inside as well as outside. It was a nice day but a little too warm so we opted to sit inside. You have to order at the counter/register before you find your seat. We ordered the falafel salad and the poke tacos to share. Completely forgot to take photos which is not like me but both were really good. Salad was a big portion, came with lettuce, beets, chickpeas, avocado, tomatoes, cucumber, quinoa, feta, hummus, the falafel of course and a tahini dressing. Super refreshing. I'd order it again. Everything paired well together. The poke tacos order came with 3. The spicy mayo was a nice touch. Again, would order this again. For our drinks, i ordered a Paloma and my friend got a margarita. Drinks were refreshing. Not that strong but still good. Even though you have to order up front, they have someone coming to clean the tables and he even came while we were still sitting down, which was nice. Staff was friendly and pleasant! Will definitely be coming back to try other things. They have a lot of things to choose from, plenty of drinks (both alcoholic and non), as well as desserts! Can't believe I work so close and am only getting to this spot now. Check them out if you can!

The service was super friendly and I appreciated how attentive and quick the servers were for such a packed and busy restaurant. I ordered the wedge salad, which was tasty, but I feel like the lettuce could have been fresher as there were a couple of wilted parts. I enjoyed the addition of the crispy onions, and it had the perfect amount of dressing. My friend ordered the burger and said it was flavorful and the Gouda paired well with it. A few folks outside some inside. This made ordering quick and easy, and the food was prepared quickly; a benefit for us, perhaps not for the business. The place is still attractive and clean, with plenty of tables outside and inside. I did not that, as my last visit, there is no shade really provided for the outside seating, save ONE small umbrella. Ugh - not sure what the issue is, and being it was a sunny day, we opted to sit inside as much as the patio called to us. The inside is nice, too, though, and there is easy access to the soda fountain machine and condiments. There are still self-ordering kiosks, large digital menus, and of course, you can also order through the app (even if standing inside!) or at the counter. We ordered a bit of each - side, main, and dessert! There was a portabella "'Shroom" burger (with a crisp-fried portobello mushroom filled with melted muenster and cheddar cheeses, topped with lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun), cheese fries, a mac 'n' cheese, chicken bites, and a Key lime shake, a special offering! Damn the calories, full taste ahead! The food was indeed prepared quickly and served hot. The Shroom burger was my favorite last time, and for taste and texture this time was also delicious and good. The cheeses inside were melty-gooey, and the mushroom crispy. It was, though, much smaller than I remember - it fit within my hand! A con, against the price, for what is a nice option for veggies or anyone wanting a change in their burger. The chicken bites were smaller than expected in size, more like nuggets, but tasty. The mac 'n' cheese was also tasty, but also a bit small for the price. The fries are always good, and in this case, you need to dig to the bottom early on to scrape some of the melted cheese that dripped down back onto the fries. Very yummy. But the best part was the Key lime shake, a flavor I just love (cheesecake is my favorite iteration of this flavor) but this milkshake satisfied me greatly. A little pricier than their everyday shakes, but how often so you find a unique flavor like this! A win! Overall, a solid 4-stars for food flavor and quality, and also for ambience and environment. Price wise, it was about $40 for two of us, so not a great bargain, but given the economy today I have the same financial shock at other places as well. Still, a nice treat and we left happy.

I liked using the self-serve kiosks to order since we could take our time going through the menu. Never realized they sold beer! To verify purchase, a staff member came over to check ID. We ordered: a couple burgers, fries, onion rings, a beer, and the Dubai chocolate pistachio shake. Burgers were good, although the buns got soft pretty quickly. The fries and onion rings were decent. Beer we ordered was bottled. I think they had another brand on tap. The shake on the other hand was amazing! I was so excited to see it on the menu since I missed it the last time they had it. They really put a good amount of kataifi and pistachios on top which provided great texture. The chocolate shell lining on the cup was a nice touch as well. Lots of seating inside and out. Bathrooms were clean and staff were friendly.

This location in greater San Rafael is a bit out of my way, but a recent trip to Marin was an opportunity to make up for the lost. Located in a business center, parking here is not an issue and they were not particularly busy on a Sunday night. We were seated immediately, noticing how clean and modern the two-story gastropub looks. The food menu is more or less pub food, executed well. Mango-habanero wings were crispy and came with two dipping sauces, both delicious. We also tired the pretzel, which is on a smaller size, so next time I'll take our server's suggestion and order two. It also came with mustard and cheese for dipping. All their burgers are more or less a la carte: no fries, but chips and house pickle on the side. The burgers were fine though, with smash being smaller, but a bit tastier than their signature Monk's burger. Simplicity is sometimes the best. The beer list is expertly curated with focus on other styles besides IPA, but I assume that Russian River's Pliny the Elder and Blind Pig are always on the menu, in addition to ultra-local options. For pub fare, Monk's Kettle is a bit pricy, which is not totally unexpected in today's economy-especially knowing the area. However, elevated food, drinks, and service quality usually comes with the elevated price tag. We might not be back next time in Marin, but this was surely not the last visit to Monk's.

I'm allergic to seafood, so my mind just goes blank. I can tell you that the meal was enjoyed. I tried the Club Wrap which was delightful, and added a side of brussel sprouts that were savory and a tad too salty, but good. They offer outdoor dining, bar service and an area upstairs as well. It's a fairly large restaurant with great menu options. There are two huge televisions which thankfully didn't have the volume up on. The server was very attentive but not overly bothersome which was a bonus.
