Needed coffee for the long drive and got a sausage egg and cheese McMuffin and hash browns too. Got a pretty good value with the coupons on the McDonald's app. The McDonald's breakfast always hits! McMuffin was super good and the hash browns were perfect and crispy. Coffee was alright but it gets the job done. Plenty of parking outside the restaurant, it was a bit busy but I was able to get my food in about 10 minutes. Great spot for a quick bite! read more

I had no issues ordering, but it took 20 minutes to go through the drive-through and get my food. When I went to the second window to pick up my food, they almost gave me the wrong order. For a while they couldn't find my order on the screen. Then the worker tried to argue with me that I didn't pay yet. So frustrating. Finally a manager stepped in and showed her where the order was. It has the dual screens and ordering lines but it was super long and after waiting about 7 mintues, I decided to bail and just go inside to collect my order. I got two 20-mcnuggets with an assortment of sauces. Inside was much easier and efficient. There was a line of people waiting. But they already ordered and was just waiting for pickup. I came in, gave them my number and was out the door in about 90 seconds. I ate about 10 minutes later. It was still semi warm but wasn't crispy as I liked it. I don't think its because I waited. I think it's just the oil was old and they pulled it a tad bit earlier. But I understand because most people dont like it crispy. Safe to say this place is understaffed. Its next to the Popeyes and for the drive thru line you have to go alll the way around and end up in an exit to mira mesa Blvd. This location is dirty most times and the workers just slap your burger together, but tell me which McDonald's doesn't? This location is always understaffed, overwhelmed, and sometimes even loses track of people's orders. The employees always seem flustered but are somehow disorganized. Not having cashiers is a massive negative from a customer service stand point. They also tend to run out of receipt paper at their kiosks. One positive is the lobby seems to be clean. But that's about it. I will drive to another location instead of waiting in the lobby while they struggle to get orders right. Don't even try doing curbside ordering either. They've given me someone else's order at least 50% of the time. And in the lobby, it shouldn't take 20+ minutes to get one item. Went here to get the grimace birthday meal at 1am. HUGE line out in the drive through Wait for half an hour, get there, get told "yeah ice cream machine is down after midnight". I have been to some low standard McDonald's before, but this particular store is one of the lowest. Let's start with the store (rule for app purchases) if they customer doesn't have the order numbers they will not get their order! Sorry but that's illegal McDonald's, if the customer has their receipt and or order confirmation, you must honor it! If it wasn't for one of the store employees helping there would have been a bigger problem! McDonald's management not present, meaning they are there but not in the form of a manager! They manager was unprofessional, disrespectful and did not have control of the store! If case you are not aware McDonald's management, your employees can't make food for themselves and eat it on the line of view of the customers. The disrespectful, unprofessional woman whom of which we brought our order to said and I quote "standby let me get a manager for you" and proceeded to get herself fries and eat them while staring us down! That is a violation of the California and Federal health code! All employees must be on approved break or checked out for his or her dinner break, and if they take food from The establishment, must be paid for or authorized as part of the employment agreement and must leave the area where food is being prepared. This is gross negligence and the franchise owner needs to clean house! This all started due to our order on the app disappearing and we had to use the proof of order from the email confirmation. If they had just did there job with a smile This post would have never been written. I am also contacting San Diego health div and reporting everything I saw, as well to the BBB for trying to pretty much steal my money due to your laziness and unprofessional management!
