We sat at the communal table in the middle, but the rest of the restaurant is primarily cozy booths big enough for six people. Not a bad thing when you want to grab a few margaritas. The table was already set with large baskets of chips across the table settings. The salsa was really good, too. I don't necessarily judge a restaurant based on their chips and salsa, but these were pretty telltale of a good meal. For my entree, I ordered the California Burrito with chicken. It was full of flavorful and spiced chicken, rice, beans, guac, and the rest of the the typical fixings. It was a massive burrito, too. It took up the length of the lengthy plate it was served upon. I really enjoyed it all. Though, next time I would ask to have all of the queso on the side instead of atop my burrito. It was really nice to see how caring the staff was, too. My wife and ordered the chile relleno and they came out with beef within and on top. We mentioned to the server that we didn't know theirs would be served with beef, so he took the plate back and brought back a version without beef. Royston Drive-In has been my replacer for hometown easy to grab chicken sandwich fixes for awhile now since getting burned a little by another local eatery in terms of.. well, their chicken. No puns intended. No one was burned by a chicken sandwich. Anyways, Royston Drive-In has been consistently good. Why I'd like to give them credit where it's due. Plus, they're also one of the places outside of the regular fast food stops that are generally open and in the area. Royston is infamously hard to figure out sometimes when and what is open. I called and after getting unthoughtout excuses from a young lady I then spoke to the owner Lee who just acted like an disinterested, dismissive and disrespectful prick, I normally would have taken up for Lee but his behavior was inexcusable I told him if that's how he chooses to act he's lost a few customers...he never asked who he was speaking to and dont think he knew so his responce was....and....I dont care...I guess we wont be seeing you again....I would say he had a bad day but his unwilling to right the issue or even right our name down to take care of it later. Had he.....he likley would have realized the family he was talking to. He didn't know who he was talking to as we are a very big family in the area and have a long history with his place. He has likely lost about 50 family members in one fatal swoop, Hes lost our families businesses ever ordering from him again. After his behavior and lack of interest in fixing anything and him allowing his business to faulter at the expense of his customers I suspect he will continue to lose more and more each day. went to dine in twice now, the first time a few months ago, we went in the entrance and was greeted…read moreby a young lady with a blank stare.... a few seconds passed, we asked are you open..."we don't have pizza dough and I don't have a waiter, it's just the two of us" and she went to talk to someone smoking weed at another entrance... she came back and said "sorry were not open".... about 5 minutes of stoned confusion and no pizza dough.... so, we gave it another try, went in the entrance, no greeting, they just looked at us and finally a female said "oh, you're eating here... just sit anywhere" we waited a little to long and i think the manager finally took our order.... in the meantime, no plates, no silverware, no salt or pepper no typical pizza joint seasoning was on the table... or order came rather fast, pizza and wings, was good enough, but no one checked on us at any point after it was served, and still no plates, silverware ... we wanted to pay, I went to the register counter, there was no on in sight.... I waited maybe 5 minutes, finally settled up... I wasn't even sure what it would cost me as there are no prices on the menu.... I gave a small tip, and heard them complaint about that....I don't like calling things or people weird, but these two experiences were weird, we won't try again.

I can't leave to pick it up... so no lunch. No real help except I'll get my money back maybe in a few days... Disappointed :/
