Getting a quick bite in New York before heading to the airport!…read more I had a few hours before catching my flight back to Chicago, so my friends suggested Emoji Burger. Honestly, it was a pretty good choice! We mostly got burgers and fries. They do have shakes, but I kept it pretty chill and went with a ginger ale. We got everything to go, so I didn't get a chance to really experience the food in person or take photos of the meal as it was served, but everything held up really well as takeout. I also liked the little emoji design on the buns, it was a nice touch! The interior of the restroom was pretty cute too. If you're in the area and looking for a quick burger and fries, I'd say give Emoji Burger a try. It was a solid experience. 3.5 out of 5 stars!

My girlfriend was OBSESSED with having my try Smash Burger because I never had before. I got what I think is called a double classic smash and I'm not exaggerating when I say that it was, hands down, the most delicious burger I have had in my entire life. It almost reminded me of a Jackson Hole diner burger in terms of the wonderfully moist and buttery flavor. The contents of the burger stayed on the bun pretty well too! I also got the smash fries (tasty seasoned shoe string fries) and whatever they call their crispy onions. Both were very tasty. The counter girls were nice and welcoming. There was clearly some sort of trainer/manager overseeing the cooks who looked to be coaching them along in a nice and attentive way. I will be back. I just hope it is this good every time! 5/5

That already put this place ahead of the game. I ordered the Double Otto Butcher Burger -- double brisket & chuck blend, bacon, Otto sauce, lettuce, tomato. Absolute beast of a burger. You can taste the beef blend, cooked perfectly, no nonsense, no shortcuts. This is how a real burger is supposed to hit. Belgian fries? Crispy, hot, flawless. No notes. My highs: the wagyu skirt steak with butter was charred just right, and I liked the taste of that salted caramel chocolate mousse. As a neighborhood spot, this does a perfect job of serving as a date night spot, or a place I could bring extended family, or even a place where I could bring young kids, based on the two tables near us that featured couples with their young children. I never love restaurants that serve entrees without sides, so it was really strange ordering the steak and having it NOT come with fries or a veggie on the side. Also, likely because we came in for a 9:30 reservation, service was a little too fast for my liking; our server came by a couple more times than needed to grab our dinner order, so we were essentially done at Rolo's within an hour. Next time, I'll be more explicit to slow down our order or to try and create some distance so that we don't feel a little rushed. Otherwise, great vibes and a great time. Looking forward to a return visit before I hit Nowadays the next time I'm in town!

Vegetarian friends... They have a VEGGIE BURGER option available and it's incredible!…read more I recently discovered that all 7th Street Burger restaurants have an Impossible Veggie Burger and, as someone who didn't even like "real" burgers back when I did eat meat, I'm thrilled to say that their veggie burger is wonderfully tasty! I always order mine without the pickles, however I recommend you don't skip the sauce as it's part of the magic! Their House Sauce is seriously so good that I always order 2-3 of them to dip my fries into. Just a heads up - the veggie burger is a bit on the small side compared to what you might be used to, however I think it's the perfect size! Especially since I always get fries to go with it. I recommend you download their app - not only is there a point system involved, but you can also easily order ahead via the app! I've done this a few times and it's a seamless process. Really glad I discovered the vegetarian burger here! Y'all will definitely be seeing more of me as time goes on. :)
