I came here on 25 October at 12:56 PM. I got a small fry and a McChicken. The manager came out and shoved the bag through the window and just stormed off there wasn't any napkins in the bag. The small fry that I ordered was only halfway filled . The manager who handed me my order, had a real attitude about something. It was a terrible experience here. I'll make this short and "half sweet/half unsweet" like the teas we ordered. Sweet: Mickey Ds tea is delish! It always tastes brisk and freshly brewed. It took over 1 hour for missing items. The staff were frolicking, and the place was jammed. The food isn't even good, it's just there. The overcrowded ambiance was horrible. We were missing a drink and multiple fries. They were missing correct boxes for items too. The staff were talking and not even taking command. The food wasn't even very hot either. So, let's get this straight. This isn't a 4 Star restaurant, but as far as McDonald's go, I think this one is pretty nice. As it's not really unique, I won't go into a full review, but just mention parts that I find noteworthy. The location is very conveniently placed if you're going grocery shopping at the newly opened mega Kroger or Target. It's pretty easy to get to and has it's own lot. The interior design, at least in the evening / night, is appealing as the lighting is low and orange. I could see where people that like bright white sanitation room lighting might not like this. The rest of the interior has booths, stools, and tables, and looks pretty nice. Everything we saw was clean, but we went at like 7:00 PM when it wasn't busy. We've only used the drive thru once or twice, but didn't have any problems that I recall. I'm sure it differs from what hours and days you visit. The food is McDonald's food; no more, no less. I got my usual McDoubles with Fries and everything tasted like I expected. We've never had any problems with the staff like some of the other reviews have had, but at the same time, I'm sure the staff changes super frequently based on the year and times. Verdict? We like this McDonald's. It's better than some of the ones in the area. read more

Total S**T SHOW. Twice this year, iIve been held hostage in the drive thru for over 40 minutes. Lets start with the first time, this summer. My daughter and I are headed from the house to DC to see a Nats game (in stupid expensive seats), and we're out early so we head to McDonalds to get pancakes (her fave).... I mobile order, pull up, and they make you go through the drive thru for all orders... not even to pickup orders.... So I pull up... and wait... and wait... and wait.... 20 minutes into waiting I get out of my car, WALK INTO THE KITCHEN from the door they've left open, "Can someone please speak to me in the drive thru? I've watched 5 people get their orders in already in the 2nd line..." They finally speak to me 5 minutes later.... I explain I had ordered on the mobile app. They tell me to pull forward... 25 minutes from there I make it to the window... they've given my order to someone else, and I have to wait 5 minutes for a new order..... 55 minutes in total waiting for what should have been 5, maybe 10 mins. We ended up late to the ballgame and missed 1.5 innings. Then, this past monday... same story just with dinner for my son. 45 mins to get my order.... had to witness the employees yelling at door dash drivers for wanting to skip the line, and the employees calling the drivers "dumba** b****es" ... thankfully, I didn't have my kids with me. They also screwed up, handed me somone elses meal... I corrected them, and still never received the drink. I really hate that this is the closest one to my house... AVOID THIS LOCATION... The ownership clearly doesn't give a crap about it. The attitudes of the employees sucks. And corporate is too busy to even write back after you make a formal complaint... twice! Maybe try the one down the road about 4 minutes by the train station and see if they're better? Cause this one sucks. read more

I waited in the damn drive through line for a while and all I wanted was a cheeseburger with no onions. I got a burger w. Extra onions and they were all over inside the wrapper too. I got reemed out by the black woman at the Staples Mill drive through who wears distinct funky earrings for thinking the $3 bundle consists of a double cheeseburger, 6 mcnugguts and a small fry, which was on the menu board by way of a picture. I was aggressively and angrily asked three times by her at the drive through, "did you really think you would get all 3 for $3?" She said "Im older than you and nothing at Mcdonalds had every been 3 for $3!" Basically she went on a rant calling me stupid. She did'nt give me my credit card back until I answered and agreed with her and got "schooled." Well woman, you obviously dont remember when double cheeseburgers were on the $1 menu so theoretically, in the past you could get 3 for $3! It seemed to me that this was a racial case of an insecure black woman adamate to school a well dressed white man. I could over hear the treatment of the black person in the car in front of me was given way more respect and I did nothing but be respectful and cooperative. It was completely obvious. Signs of the time I guess. I think its funny that when youre in your 50s/60s and working at the McDonalds drive-in and thats the penical of your career. Im sympathetic to people like that but seriously give me my damn credit card back and dont hold it hostage just to prove a point.
