I'm going to park this right here..I'm a huge fan of the Big Arch. I ordered it with extra pickle and Big Arch Sauce. It had just a tad too much sauce but nonetheless it was delicious and served hot and fresh. The bun was toasted perfectly. The burger is huge and heavy. I couldn't finish it all this time around. The fries were hot, hot, hot....the way fries should be! And of course McDonalds has the best cokes. Restaurant was packed. Drive thru and lobby. And it was clean. My five stars remains! Great customer service and quality of food! Clean parking lot! We used curbside today and had a great experience, yet again. The fries were good and crispy. We ordered the new bacon ranch McCrispy. My husband said he likes it, I still prefer the deluxe McCrispy, but either way it was cooked hot and delicious. This McD's goes above and beyond in the getting it wrong and being rude categories. Their staff is generally rude, to the point that they practically throw your order at you. They don't give you the condiments you ask for, but they Will charge you for them! If you Really want McD's go to the one at Haslet, Decatur, or down by the Speedway because This one is the worst staffed by the worst employees. One manager even closes up randomly during open hours. They made our order wrong. Missed the Double Cheeseburger. Put my name in the special book. I tried to get what I was missing before. The Spanish speaking manager never spoke directly to me, she had employee talking to me while she stood there. I was trying to explain the situation and was told they couldn't give me Double Cheeseburger because I already received it. This isn't true. Typically they have good service and are usually spot on with the orders but this time? Good service but they messed up my order. I ordered 3 hot and spicy Mc chickens add pickles and 3 cheeseburgers. After paying, receiving my order, and arriving home I open the bag to 2 hot and spicy Mc chickens and 3 cheeseburgers.... Standing on the side of the highway throwing up is never a good way to start a review. It is also very difficult way to get a positive review. Therefore, I will stick with tradition and give this the lowest possible writing I can. This has nothing to do with a comedy of errors and lack of training of the drive-through window. This has nothing to do with they were being too busy, as there were only two cars in front of me. This has nothing to do with it being a teenager who did not know better, because the gentleman was at least in his mid-20s. This comes boiling down to one single fact, which I would normally call a training opportunity. However, when I am looking at a picture on the menu of an onion on the hamburger... And therefore I order no onions, I do not need to be corrected by being told that this particular burger does not come with onions. I can see them in the picture!! So if you're too smart for your own good, and feel like you need to correct the people looking at a picture of what they are ordering. Then you feel that you don't need to add no onions onto the order... Then the person who makes the burgers makes the burger correctly. Seeing as how I am highly allergic to the acid in onions, I've spent the last 10 minutes throwing up on the side of the highway. You are a McDonald's. Nobody expects your food to be gourmet. But the menu has been minimize down to the lowest common denominator, and I do not need you correcting me... Screwing up my order... And then ending up with me throwing up on the side of the highway. And all of that I might have to let slide and giving you two were three stars... Except when I called the phone number listed in Yelp and on my receipt, I got a fax machine. We ordered through Uber Eats. Pretty simple order. Happy meal for one kid and a quarter pound value meal for the other kid. QP meal was missing fries. Okay. Mistakes happen. Human element. How will McDonalds fix the mistake? I contacted the store in Haslet and spoke to a manager. My options? Drive up to the store to pick up an order of fries or drive up to the store to get a refund. The manager was definitively sheepish when informing me of my outrageous options, obviously deflated even having to provide me with these these ridiculous choices. You could tell she'd had this conversation many times prior by the tone of her voice, and was sorry but handcuffed at the limited options she had. That said, where is the accountability? If this is so common, which she openly admitted after I pressed her once I heard her tone, why aren't there checks and balances for these delivery orders? Why doesn't one person load the order and another confirm the order? Dual control. Instead, the consumer is left to shoulder the error without any recourse. No accountability whatsoever. read more

Went thru the drive thru about 11:50pm. Pulled up to the window and was completely ignored for several minutes- I believed it to be about 10 minutes but I wasn't timing it. No one else was in the drive thru. We could see employees inside chatting. By the time someone came to the window- he said nothing to us. Not a word. Grabbed the credit card, ran it and thrust it back out the window. Still- not a word spoken. A few minutes later- he thrust a bag of food back out, my husband had to remind us we also ordered a McFlurry. Handed it to us without a word and shut the window. Cheeseburgers were just ok, fries were terrible and unsalted. Mcflurry was good. All in all, we speak at least 15 minutes just sitting there being ignored. Very strange experience. read more

I arrived and was informed that they take cash only at night. After running next door to withdraw $20 (with a $3.95 service fee). I come back in and choose the steak breakfast sandwich meal. The worker informs me that they don't serve that until 4. So I order another sandwich meal. I hand the guy a twenty. He then pulls out his phone and adds up the meal plus the tax. I asked him if this was normal not running the total through the system. He says that they are required to do the math and change manually. Turns out this McDonald's is janky. Once again this place has failed. I walk in there's one person in there with me and I can't get any food. A double cheeseburger and a medium fry was my order. 15 minutes later I am no closer to getting my food than I was when I place my order. Before we came here we were skeptical bc of the reviews but being from out of town and the kids wanted it we didn't have a choice. The people were amazing. We had a long complicated order we kept changing. They were very patient! When it came time to get our food we had to pull up and wait. They did forget my medium coke and the chicken nuggets in the kidsmeal but as complicated as we were we couldn't blame them.but they more than made up for it. My husband and I spent $20 ordering three meals and waited 20 minutes in the drive thru to place our order and to get our order.. and we were the only ones in the drive thru!! Once we got our meals, my husband only had one "meat" pattie on his burgers plus all the fries were cold! We had already hit the highway so I wasn't going to turn around but once I got home to eat my food, my number 5 meal was an deep fried chicken pattie that tasted like it had frost bite before entering the deep fryer! I have worked in Rhome for 20 years. My inability to get a decent sweet tea is ridiculous. If at all possible go to the Haslet location. Great staff there and something Rhome McDonalds knows nothing about -- consistency. Great sweet tea. Everytime. Like they have a recipe to follow or protocol. Like maybe they clean their equipment.
