We make this McDonald's a regular stop between Cali and AZ, and are always pleasantly surprised at the friendly service and accurate orders. Manager Norma is so sweet and upbeat, and does all she can to make sure the restaurant is clean, even when she's shorthanded on help. Prices are going up and help is harder to find, but this McD's will continue being our go-to while we're on the road. read more

Spent a lot for cold fries and wrong burger Stopped for lunch while staying in LTVA. Tried to order on kiosk, but it wasn't working. Ordered food for two which was $34! We have paid way less at McDonalds in Alaska which I always thought was very expensive. Got our order with very cold fries. I ordered a double quarter cheese with bacon. Got a double with no bacon. Took cold fries and burger back and had to wait another 5-10 minutes for replacements. Manager was rude when i asked for actual correct order and hot fries. Dude in line said this was normal. Place is super expensive! $53.00 for 2 kids meals and 2 adults. Damn. The price has gone wayyyy up.

I'm very impressed to how well & how fast the employees at this McDonald's location gets people in and out at high speed with accuracy of orders. Staff are polite and ready to help ample parking, but it can get full fast with trucks and overnight parkers. Lobby closes at 12am, but if you make a mobile order through the McDonald's app Mobile pay they will honor your order and take it out to the door where you will wait, no orders are taken through the drive through as a walk up. read more

What a lovely surprise on the long drive from Palm Springs to Phoenix. This was the cleanest McDonalds I have ever been in. There was a sweet man who was cleaning windows when we arrived. He kept busy inside while we ate, immediately cleaning tables and sweeping the floors. We let him and his manager know how pleasant our experience was! read more

I wish I can put 0 stars, breakfast sandwiches were cold, not the way we had them before hot that sometimes we have to wait to eat them because they're hot but this one's were nearly cold, we spend $40.00 dollars for 2 meals and a couple of extra special sandwiches (2 for 5) I ask for a decaf coffee with Splenda and creamers and they give me black coffee no creamers no Splenda not even in the bag, overcharged us $3.40 for a replacement of orange juice on the other meal, and they don't even put a straw. Food was average for McDonald's, but the prices at this particular site are outrageous. $27 for a bacon cheese biscuit, sausage egg McMuffin, small mocha and a frappe is ridiculous. The drive thru wait times here are REDICULOUS!!! Waited forever at the drive thru, said hello several times, assumed speaker maybe broken, pulled around, 2 cars already waiting, first one was told to pull up, second one was given food but no drink, then finally the intentionally slow walking drive thru attendant saunters out to the first car with food, order was wrong so she told them they had to come in to fix it, they are obviously upset, then she gives the second car her drinks so they can finally leave, I pull up to the window, wait and wait and wait while she obviously intentionally ignores me, meanwhile a vehicle comes up behind me and I can see she preparing an order for them, now I know that I was being ignored at the speaker, she goes to pour coffee, coffee empty, starts making coffee, drops the filters on the floor, all the while making these overly exaggerated movements and being all dramatic to make sure everyone knows she's pissed or doesn't care or whatever. Finally after being here for 15 minutes she looks at me and says "what" with a nasty snarl. I said we've all been waiting forever while being ignored because you can't be bothered to care about anything. Disgusting! There was at least 4 people working. I drove away, not about to have my food spit on. All it would take is a simple press of the button and a gimme a minute, I'll be right with you, go away I don't have time, but nope. Drive-thru cashier charged me for the wrong order even though she read me correct order. Norma and Shelly were trying to figure out how it happened and what my correct order was. Their service and communication were great! Jennifer came to help and took care of issue while having amazing service and great attitude even with a good amount of cars in drive-thru. Because of the service of all three I will definitely keep this location in mind when needing to make a pit stop. read more

Just got to the drive thru. We have been sitting here waiting in the drive thru line. There r two lines. Two cars have ordered and gone through the other line while we r still waiting for someone to take our order. Still waiting for food now.... Definitely not speedy. Found the problem. Stopped in for breakfast on our way back from AZ. Didn't use drive thru, went inside. Used the self menu and food came out in maybe 6 minutes and it was very hot and tasted great. Not the first time stopping here- have watched it go downhill almost daily since October. Stopped here this morning before heading to Phoenix for the day. Walked in and saw about 25 people standing waiting for their orders. The ones behind the counter wandering aimlessly, no smiles- no greetings, just acting like robots. Spoke to one woman who told me that she had been waiting over a half hour for her order and it wasn't even showing up on the screen. I have rarely seen ANY of the employees here smile. At $16 an hour you would think they would be bending over backwards to satisfy customers. The store is always a mess- drink bar NEVER clean- I will certainly think before I take my wife back here. Apparently they feel they do not need customers- because they treat you like you don't matter. The management here SHOULD BE REPLACED. I understand that they are one of only a couple "games in town" but the attitude and atmosphere here sucks and McDonaldd should be ashamed to be associated with this store. read more

The food was usual for the establishment, the ambiance was that of any roadside dive; filled with tourists coming in for a bite to eat and a rest from driving the long desert stretch between Phoenix and LA, mixed with locals holding court with their dogs. Placing the order well the kiosk took my order, no issues there. The problem was with the service staff. After waiting for my food to be delivered to the table, and standing up when I saw the young woman looking for my table number, I approached her to tell her that order was mine. She responded with the rudest comment that I didn't need to come up to her with all that attitude. Before I could say anything she turned around and waved me away. I said "Excuse me?!" She answered "You heard me", never turning back and muttering that she didn't need my attitude and I was too much. A local patron came up to me and said "Welcome to Quartzite! Don't bother telling corporate about this because nothing ever gets done and this happens all the time". I was embarrassed and incensed at the same time. My family and I quickly ate our food. I was crying from being humiliated in from of the whole restaurant. I will never forget this horrible experience and do not recommend coming here. We stop here frequently on our trips to and from Cali. 9 times out of 10, we use the drive-thru. 10 times out of 10, no matter WHAT we order. (It could be as little as 2 egg McMuffins), we're asked to pull our car forward and we wait for our order. I've never been to a drive-thru where this is a CONSTANT occurrence. On the positive side, the food is always good and the service is friendly. Very odd about the drive-thru wait, though. read more

In the midst of a long drive, with no rest stops or gas stations in sight this McDonald's turned out to be an oasis for needed quick energy. My friend, who's either a serious trooper or lost her mind in deciding not to take me up on offers to take over driving duties sorely needed that energy pick me up. I was also drifting and found it wouldn't be a bad idea to get quick energy myself. This place gets 3 stars from me just for having hot fudge sundaes available late at night. When you try getting those late at night in NY or even in NC, all you hear is "the machine is broken." You would think people would leave ice cream available all night since that is something everyone in my circle wanted as a late night snack. Zero stars. Terrible experience. Worst ever. We brought our students here after a school trip. We told the manager on Friday (2days ago) that our group was coming. We arrived. Everyone ordered. We waited NEARLY TWO HOURS for everyone to get their food. We got here at 4:30 and it is now 6:20. When we were there Friday morning 4/28 the service was efficient and great. Tonight, 4/30, the manager ignored our orders. The numbers disappeared, the tickets were just sitting on a counter and not being expedited. She expedited the regular guests orders and ignored ours completely. The manager would not acknowledge us!! The employees did a better job helping us out. Everything was so disorganized! Our students are now going to be over an hour late getting home. read more

The best customer service we've had at a McDonald's. The young gentleman, Chase, who was working when we stopped by was so helpful and courteous. Our order was served in a timely manner, bathrooms were clean, and when he wasn't busy he made sure to walk around and ask all the customers if he could get us anything else, as well as check that tables and chairs were clean. read more
