What they should work on - Have a station with napkins and straws. I understand not keeping sauces out. Keep your bathrooms clean, they were pretty gross and did not have paper towels. This McDonald's seemed like a popular stop for all. We took our lunch and decided on a dessert at McDonald's. I used the app and waited maybe 2 minutes for our order. Today was free fries day. In addition to the free fries, we ordered a hot fudge sundae and strawberry banana smoothie. Staff were nice. The hot fudge sundae was dripping chocolate out of the lid so staff were trying to clean it up before handing it over. She decided to get a new one which was nice. We enjoyed our treats. Drive through screen in a sad state. Both my husband and I use the McDonald's App. Today we both found ourselves logged out and our rewards gone. Food is as expected. We ordered two waters, and received one bottled Dasani and cup of ice water. I'm happy with my McDonald's cup of ice water. Food came out fast and was consistent. The parking lot was clean. Our car broke down so the tow truck dropped us off here so we can stay somewhere. We were on our way home from a vacay so we had some luggages too. The bathroom was disgustingly dirty. I couldn't see myself in the ladies room mirror. There was toilet paper and paper towels all over the floor and the sink was gross. It's one of those where they point you at the kiosk to order. The line was long so we went through the drive through which had no line. First of all, the bathrooms are clean and the woman cleaning them, yes someone was cleaning the bathrooms, smiled and said good morning! And guess what, she was using SOAP to clean the floors (unbelievable)! I about tripped over my own feet! The bathroom smelled clean, like bleach. Hallelujah. There were two men cleaning the dining room. Can you believe it? I barely believe it and I saw it with my own eyes!!! I recognize it's lame to be reviewing a McDonald's but this one is so terrible it earned a review. Service terrible. Food equally bad. I've literally had to sit in the drive through waiting for over 5 minutes with no one in line waiting for someone to take my order. This has happened more than once. On Wednesday September 24 around 6.30pm i pulled into the drive through and sat for five minutes with no one taking my order. I just drove away and went to Carl's Jr. Not only is service dysfunctional but the food is terrible. Dried out inedible filet-o-fish and stale fries about 70% of the time. I pass through Quartzite 2 to 4 times a month and i used to stop here everytime. Never again. I've switched to the quartzite carl's jr that has great service and food that hasn't been sitting under a heat lamp for an hour. read more

We visited this place after 3hrs drive. It was not a busy hour for this McDonald's. We ordered a few combos and some extra. When we received our food, two ice cream cones were missing. What makes this McDonald's so special is its location on the Arizona side of the boarder with California. Here, everything is significantly cheaper than in California, so this is a popular spot to stop. This McDonalds is right next to the Pilot Gas Station, right after you get some food, you can enter the gas station from the same parking lot. They like to keep the drive-thru line moving. I don't think I've ever been through the drive thru without the staff asking us to pull into one of the parking spaces to wait (even if there is no one behind us waiting). Must be their Standard Operating Procedure. None the less, the wait is never long, someone is knocking on our window in minutes. Food is on par with all other McDonalds we've ever eaten at. One star only because I can't give zero or negative stars. Would that be moons maybe? First off, I realize this is the middle of nowhere and I'm sure reliable employees are few and far between. However, this McDonalds seemed to be extremely short staffed and under prepared for a Wednesday evening dinner rush. If that's what you want to call it. We rolled in around 6ish and there was no line at either the counter nor the kiosk. My daughter likes using the kiosk so we started on our order. I rarely eat at McDonalds and was unaware the did away with grilled chicken items. I would have convinced my daughter we could eat elsewhere if I had known. I blame this issue on corporate and not this particular store. We ordered but did not receive a receipt or any type of printed order number so we save a small tree limb I guess. Maybe 5 minutes later a couple of construction/road crew guys came in and ordered a large order at the counter. Interestingly, they're order was ready before ours. Not huge to me but mildly irritating. I could see into the kitchen and everything looked fairly clean but there was no evidence of anyone preparing food. After another 5-10 minutes passed I noticed someone finally putting together some orders. After a 25 minute wait we finally had our order but once in the car, the chicken sandwich I ordered was dry and the chicken over cooked. As we pulled out I noticed cars still in the drive through that were there when we pulled in. Seems the locals here have priority as there was quite a bit of chit chat with the few employees running about and one woman at the counter the entire time complaining about one thing or anohter and espousing how hard it was for and her daughter to walk all the way there in the heat from the senior center, yet she was in a motorized chair. One employee sweeping behind the counter when she could have been preparing food. The food safe conditions here are suspect as I saw a couple of instances that would make a health inspector raise an eyebrow. I'm actually shocked my daughter nor I fell ill. How Governor Nuisance thinks these people should get $20 per hour for this kind of service and apathy towards their jobs is beyond me. read more

Horrible customer service by everyone in this establishment. My family and I came for lunch on 11/16/24 at 2pm and were appalled by what a horrible service we were given here. Not only was there no one at the register to take our order, we had to wait 15 minutes to be seen. And even when someone did come assist us at the register, that lady still got it wrong. She was trying to charge us for double what we ordered! And she even missed some things we ordered, forcing me to order from the inconvenient and tedious kiosk. We waited ages for the food we ordered, while more and more people came in and lined up at the register and we not taken care of until a customer had to practically yell to get one of the useless employees attention. At least six employees were huddled over the food giving looks to the people inside, how about you coach these employees to make themself useful and actually take action to solve the problem? Maybe the customers wouldn't be so rude to you if they were greeted with good service. Once we finally got our food, we asked for BBQ sauce to which we were greeted with an eye roll and sigh from the same lady who took our order. And when we asked for napkins, she gave us FOUR single napkins! For our family of four, we were only given four napkins after having to ask for them ourselves in the first place. And our final straw for this disgusting establishment was the restrooms. This is exactly why we chose to take our food to go and not eat here. When we entered we were greeted with a disgusting restroom, toilet paper all over the floor, in every stall (4) there was used toilet paper on the floor. One stall had no paper forcing my family and I to wait for the same one after each other was done using it. And to top it all off there was no soap in the dispensers! First we have to deal with the disgusting restroom and then we have no way to rid ourselves of the bacteria we gained from being in there. If you're heading back to LA just wait 2-5 miles there's another McDonald's on your way over there on the 10, you're better off testing your luck with that one. read more
