Came here for a quick bite - uhhhh over charging us. I told the cashier I wanted the egg McMuffin meal with milk. She decided to charge me for each item separately. Why??? My husband ordered the big breakfast meal. She also charged him for the meal and the hash brows and milk separate. Why? Our bill was $21.07. This McDonalds can be super-busy because of travelers, so be aware of that. I was there twice last week (traveling to and from Palm Springs from Phoenix), and both times the place was jam-packed with people! Even though a tour bus was there both times, the place seemed to run like a well-oiled machine. Service was fast, food was hot, and my orders were correct. The only real "negative" was that the prices were a bit higher than you might expect in a different location. Happy traveling! read more

I have never been to a slower McDonald's. Who thought a plain bacon burger would take 20 min in the drive thru. And they got it wrong. How do you forget the bacon on a bacon burger??? Decided to try their new Crispy Chicken sandwich. It was awful, the sandwich was dry, no sauce, no comparison to the chicken sandwich at Chick Fil A or Popeye's. Dont waste your money on this sandwich, stick with McNuggets or hamburgers. read more

It took them 30 minutes to give us 1 hamburger, small fry, 1 mcchicken and a coffee. My mcchicken was super hot to the touch, so microwaved it 100%. My fiancé's hamburger had nothing but a bun and a meat patty. Why did we have to wait 30 minutes for that? I brought the hamburger back to get a real burger with the pickles and onions and it took another 7 minuets to get that back. I didn't want to complain about my microwaved burger so I just ate it. And these employees need to leave their drama for their mama because they were so petty with each other. We were waiting in line to pay and all I hear are the workers bickering with each other about the food or who made this, what's that for , blah blah. No one wants to hear such petty arguments about where you should be or how long you've been helping another person. So unprofessional. Save yourself an hour and go to Burger King! As McDonald's go, this place is about the same as any other. What separates all fast food places is their staff. We were treated especially well while visiting this location. The staff was friendly, professional and extremely courteous. The manager even provided a toy to my son without us purchasing a happy meal. The food was good. The restrooms and restaurant were very clean and well maintained. We're are definitely going to be stopping here whenever we drive through. read more

We stopped at McD in Quartzsite as a halfway point to CA. My son had a meltdown in the bathroom; he was screaming and extremely upset because we were in the girls' bathroom & he's a boy. When we came out of the bathroom he insisted he wanted to talk to one of the workers to ask about the rules bc mommy was "wrong". I think we got the manager and she was kind enough to walk over to the restrooms with us and explain how it works Thank you for going above and beyond for a boy who was tired on our long trip home! read more

I'm giving 1 star because this morning while waiting for our food, I used the restroom and found it disgusting. I don't know when the last time someone cleaned but it had to be the day before or maybe several days before, as one stall wreaked from the smell of urine. A few other unsettling situations which I am sure the McDonalds corporation would be appalled at. I asked my husband about his visit to the restroom, I won't even tell you on here how bad he described it... He can tolerate more than I can but I will say there was one man cleaning the restaurant area did an excellent job, wiping down the tables and seating area but I would suggest a different rag for the seating area then using the one for the tables... read more

I'm not sure why there is an option to give any stars. This MC Donald's is grody to the max!. The restroom looks like the over filled port o potties. Half flushed toilets with mess in them. Toilet paper all over the place in every stall. The mirrors are filthy. There isn't much to choose from in Quartzsite, but this McDonald's has a problem. First of all -- and I've been there more than once -- there is always an unusually long wait for my order. I hear people in line complaining about it, too. But this last time was the tipping point for me. My hamburger was bright pink throughout the center and had a horrible taste, somewhere between rancid oil and rotten onions. The fries were limp and had almost no salt. I wound up tossing my McDonald's lunch and picking up a sandwich and soda at the Chevron station convenience store. read more

I would give this location 4 stars if they didn't have so many flies flying around and hanging out on the ceiling. That's really the only downside of the spot. Bathrooms are squeaky clean. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Food was no different than other McDonald's I have been to, which is a good thing as nothing tasted out of the ordinary. Quartzsite for many reasons reminds me of Wal Mart. You see a variety of people here. Gas is a bargain compared to CA so folks headed West often stop here to fill up, potty, and/or grab a bite to eat and McDonald's just happens to be one of the perfect spots for a stop. A burger, drink,and/or a cone is just the ticket. Plenty of parking, gas to fill up right next door. read more

I order them from the kiosk, waited, waited and you know the rest. Finally a hipster behind the counter had the nerve to ask me "were you waiting for food" Really? I just show her my receipt so I dont turn into the hulk. I waited another 2mins, she clocks out. Only person running the register is a old lady damn near drooling ignores me while waiting for new customers, but I'm the only person there. Being a travel stop along I10 you'd think the franchisee would have invested in well-appointed restrooms, but no. The budget apparently didn't even allow for a mirror. Also keeping condiments stocked shouldn't be that hard. This location has been there for years, so you should have an idea of how much you need by now. I have to imagine the talent pool in this tiny roadside town is limited, so I never have illusions about being wowed by the staff but with the new touchscreen ordering system come these little numbered tents you take to your table that read: "Please place tent on table and relax. Your food is on its way!" But not in Quartzsite! There the employees will still shout your order number until you come get it. read more

It's McDs, not a michelin star restaurant. That being said, I have stopped here twice while on the road, once without kids, once with. Without kids, again, its a McDs. Service is good, and the food is McDs food. With kids, playplace needs some serious attention. The padding around the playstructure is falling apart and I think they don't actually clean the playstructure. They do have 6 touchscreens though with great games for the kids, so that made up for it. But if you are on a road trip with kids and want to stop somewhere for them to stretch/run around, this would not be my first choice. read more

My friends and I stopped here for a quick meal on our way back to LA from Glendale, AZ! There are not a lot of stops at this stretch of the freeway so Quartzite was a very popular stop! There are multiple fast food joints here but McDonald's of course manages to be one of the most popular ones. We opted to order inside instead of doing the drive-thru, and thankfully there is plenty of parking since a lot of the spots were already taken. While this McDonald's does have a couple of kiosks that you can order from, it seems like most people end up ordering at the counter anyway. I tried to use the kiosk but because I wanted to use a coupon from the mobile app I ended up having to line up for a person anyway. The line is long but moves decently fast. The wait for food takes a bit longer since they have so many orders to deal with, but since it is a McDonald's the wait is never too long. They have restrooms available for customers (no pin pad or token required to open the doors) and the bathrooms were pretty clean. Being environmentally friendly, the bathrooms do not offer paper towels to dry your hands but instead have high-powered fan dryers. Even despite all the people waiting for orders and eating in, there was still quite a few tables for my friends and I to choose from. The food quality is what you would expect from any McDonald's and we all enjoyed our food and were quickly in and out. The only complaint I would have about this location is that their ketchup dispenser seemed to be a bit broken so it would only slowly give out a thin stream of ketchup. The worst part of this McDonald's was the men's bathroom, it looked like it had not been swept/ mopped or the stall cleaned in a long time & the sink area was filthy. This is the worst McDonald's experience i ever had. I walked in and only ordered a hot breakfast meal and a sausage biscuit meal. Tell me why this took over 25 minutes to get? Meanwhile they had no drive thru orders and a couple walk ins. After i finally recieved my order, i was missing a hash brown from one meal and the ice in my orange juice melted so it tasted disgusting! The meat for the order still tasted frozen too. Quartzite this time of year seems to be a "buglite" for vagrants and beggars. They seem to make McDonalds here a gathering place. They wait for the travelers and pounce on them . I have been approached every time I've been there for money and food by them. The management here does not enforce their loitering rule inside and outside the property. There is no effort whatsoever to dissuade the activity. They occupy the restrooms and the dinning area. Yesterday while I was there on my bicycle I noticed that the grass lawn out front is littered by Dog droppings and part of that problem is caused by the dogs that every other vagrant seems to have and they use it as a park to stage from. The management doesn't provide them with dog poop bags either. read more

One of the great locations once was our cross the Arizona border. It's in a great location with different shops across the street. The place has lots of tables and seating, and the restrooms seem to be fairly clean most of the time. The food seems to fairly consistent to every Mcdonalds, and it was done in a timely manner. read more
