This review is long overdue for this location. I've written to corporate, talked to managers, general managers, and no one at this location gives a crap about their job or making anything better. It's always oh I'm sorry or other ridiculous excuses. I have been going to this location for 15 years expecting the family that owns pretty much everything up here to take care of their restaurants. Just a few issues with this location are wait times. Stop calling these places fast food because I have been in line for 25-30 minutes some nights. The soda machines are often not working or their soda system is broken. I've ordered a certain drink several times for my wife and they get it wrong. Sodas are a constant issue along with their famous broken ice cream machine. This location had the nerve to put up a billboard on 50th St W advertising their restaurant and saying, " yes our ice cream machine works." It has been 3 weeks since I saw that sign and today when I went, nope still broken. Who is running these restaurants that they just ignore their customers concerns? Going to another location does no matter because they own them all up here. Today I ordered 4 sodas and the guy comes out without a drink carrier. I said I need a drink carrier please and I hear, " Sorry bro we don't have any, you'll have to figure that out on your own." I'm not your bro I'm a frustrated customer. I do this to myself though. As of a few months ago this location shut off their fountain machine and requires you to have an employee fill it. Unfortunately this is going to be a chain-wide change soon. But the real drawback is as of December 5th, 2023, they will no longer refill your drink for you. So you cannot have them refill it, nor refill it yourself. Total bs. read more

We had the worst experience ever at any McDonalds over a simpler mishandling of a "No. 1 Combo with no onions, regular fries and a coke". As we got the food package we realized there were no fries. As we inquiried about it the guy at the window asked for the receipt(??) as I handed over it explained why we will ask for a No 1, get the choice of drink and don't want the fries? He acted confused, ask for the food bag back and went in. At this point a lady whom we assumed is the shift leader came out and asked additional questions including IF the girl at the window read the order back when we said no, she answered "well she didn't charge you for" with an attitude at which I answered "charge us then". She was still defiant and skeptical, went back in and practically tossed the order of fries back. We left the drive thru window right away as we were quite turned off by the interaction. We realized couple of blocks down the road that they never gave us the bag with the burgers so we turned around and I went in to ask about it. At that point another employee tend to me, ask for the receipt and proceeded it to give us the bag and finally said "sorry", however, the lady who originally argue about we not having the fries in the order started "commenting" in Spanish something derogatory not realizing that I also speak Spanish. I actually asked her "I am sorry, what was that" and she quickly scurried to the back so I chose to just leave as it was more than enough "excitement" over a mishandled order. For the record, this store is notorious for shorting or mishandling orders as it has happen to us at least couple of times. The mistake made by the order taker was turn into a costumer issue and an accusation of basically trying to get free fries(??). They held the line for at least 5 minutes instead of solving the problem. Went here for lunch yesterday. There was only one person if front of me ordering but several people standing around waiting for there food. I place my order, only chicken McNuggets and a drink. Well, here we go. Again. The MENSA reject of the week is drum roll, please, KS #, the one who took my order. So I ordered a 20-piece McNugget. KS said, "We don't have a 20 piece." With KS being anemic in critical thinking skills, I decided to solve this complex math problem for hom by saying, "Well 10 +10 has always equaled 20, so can you put 2 of the 10 pieces together?" Feeling strong and up to the challenge, he said,"I can do that." STRONG WORK, KS! But then his weakened critical thinking hit a major snag. Again. I added, "1 large fry and 1 large coke." Somehow, he got tripped up on the #1 because when I pulled up to the next window, I got 2 large fries and 2 large cokes. Since I wanted only 1 of each, I told the person to just keep the extras. I got there about 10 min later, got in the drive-thru line, waited about 10 min and when I started to place my order with the guy standing outside, he informed me they didn't start serving lunch until 11am. I told him I just call and when he tried to confirm with someone inside, his mic didn't work so he had to walk inside. He came back and confirmed lunch didn't start until 11am. I visited this McDonald's and apparently they don't know that they are a McDonald's. This location needs to know that their clientele go to McDonald's for a cheap, fast meal. They had the fast down but the cost was outrageous. For the prices they charge I can go to my favorite diner and have a nice breakfast rather than a subpar meal from McDonald's. Case in point, I wanted to swap out bacon for Canadian bacon. It only cost $2.15 to do so. As a comparison Farmer John's currently cost roughly $8.00 for a pound of bacon. $2.15 for one piece of bacon which is being swapped for a slice of Canadian bacon is ridiculous. Later I went to refill my soda and was told that they no longer offer soda refills. Apparently, that was costing this McDonald's way too much in revenue. Which leads me back to my opening statement. People go to McDonald's for a cheap meal. If they continue to nickel and dime everyone, people will go to restaurants that offer good food for the prices being charged here. When I place the order I asked to the lady to repeat my order she messed up twice so then I asked for somebody else to take my order the "Manager" Kylie ended up taking it and got mad because I asked her to also repeat my order being that it was never verified to be correct. She then got mad because I asked for the order to be repeated. She ended up saying she wasn't taking my order. I pulled to the window where I was met with the girl whom originally took my order her name was "Angelica". I asked Angelica to return my points since the manager Kylie refused my order. Angelica goes to tell her, Kylie refused to refund the points and began to hide in the back telling Angelica to just dismiss me. The "Manager" Kylie refused to give me her actual name and to reverse my points. So I began to record her hiding acting super unprofessional and not manger like at all. Thats not somebody whom should be representing Mc Donalds whatsoever!!
