Over the past couple decades the portions have actually gotten smaller, the quality, well lets face it, it was never that great, but service was always pretty good. One of the dirtiest McDonald's I have ever been to. There literally was not one table that was not dirty with leftover food and trash. Floors were sticky with trash. Kid's play areas are never really clean, but this one looked like it had not been cleaned in a really long time. The cleanliness issue made it very difficult to eat here. read more

I have eaten at this particular McDonald's more times than any other restaurant ever. Mostly due to the fact that it is one of 3 places I know of in East Bay that are open 24/7 (the others being Maverick and that one Mexican Food Place). The staff is always friendly and always get my order right which is really all I look for in a McDonald's. They have recently undergone major renovations so the dining room is very classy, and they have a double drive through with excellent sound quality, which is important to me because I talk mumble-y and they can still understand me. The service at this restaurant is absolutely terrible. I understand that times are hard right now and due to short staffing, workers are overwhelmed and overworked. But that still doesn't justify the fact the staff at this restaurant neglect their basic duties and fail to provide basic/decent customer service. The employees at this restaurant are lazy, rude, and aggressive. The food is never fresh, never made properly, and when they forget your food items they either refuse to give you the remainder of the order OR they refuse to refund what you didn't receive. The amount of push back and passive aggressive behavior I have endeared from the employees at this establishment is absolutely appalling. I have filed many complaints with managers and corporate, yet they have done nothing to resolve any past issues nor have they resolved the toxic work environment their location has. I don't know why their general manager is insistent on hiring people who have a poor work ethic and fail to have basic human decency. I will never go to this McDonald's again, I will make sure my employer does not do business with this location anymore, and I will leave a review to warn anyone who may think about visiting this location. As someone who delivers DoorDash, I lose money by delivering food from here as the service is extremely slow. I was stuck for 30 minutes trying to get the food when I could've done 2 other deliveries from different restaurants in the same amount of time. McDonald's isn't known for its speed or quality but I was blown away by how awful this McDonald's is. I will be sure to reject deliveries from here in the future. read more

Let me first say, I'm a big Mc D's fan. Always have been, always will be. We ordered two 1/4# w/cheese. One with no onion/pickle. One w /extra pickle. And a large fry. The fries were soft and soggy like they'd been taken out of the fryer early. The burgers tasted lie they were a day old. Hard to imagine that considering they were both special orders. Mine had a lot of pickles on it which I loved. But it also had so much ketchup on it that it looked like it was bleeding to death. To add insult to injury.....they didn't give us any napkins! We came to have dinner and when we came in the cashier was super friendly. I believe his name was David. I didn't hear when they called our number because we were in the play area, so he took the food to our table which was super nice. All my order was correct. Stood in line with five customers for ten minutes after manager told employee to stop taking orders. Finally after approaching the manager, asking to get order taken I am able to order, two big macs extra pickles and md fry. While standing around for my order the three customers in Front of me received incorrect food...missing drinks missing food and a wrong food order. After an 8 minute wait I sat to eat at the cleanest dirty table. At least my order was correct, although messy. If I could give no stars I would. This is by far and above the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. I use the kiosk to quickly order my food, and then had to wait in another line to pay for my order. Meanwhile the manager completely ignored the front counter and several of us customers stood there twiddling our thumbs. There were several other workers back behind the counter just talking to themselves, while the manager ignored us and completed drive-thru orders. I was amazed that she just ignored taking anybody's orders at the register, and then I ordered a soda, and wasn't given a cup and then later when I asked for a cup I was told the CO2 wasn't working on the machine.
