As it has been a staple of food service in Prestonsburg for as long as the majority of the population remembers. While it does definitely have its good parts, but does have some consistency issues. Their onion rings are especially amazing!! My wife and I both had the Smash Burger and what was in the past the signature burger of Dairy Cheer with the Onion Rings. The burger was good. However the meat to bun ratio was a little too much for my liking and a little overcooked. The real issue we both had was the charred flavor on the onion rings and the overt amount of excess grease. Both these indicate that the oil in the fryer needs filtered and/or changed. Normally this wouldn't be too much of an issue but given previous meals we have had here with the best onion rings in the state it is almost a heresy for them to be done this way. It is a good place but small things like this from a place that once had such a high standard is disappointing.
