Cheap, speedy food has its place. I haven't been to a McDonald's in a while but charging 40 cents for a packet of hot sauce is ridiculous.

AVOID Terrible food and they think they're clever ripping off their customers by folding the sides of the fry boxes inwards instead of outwards so fewer fries fit in the box. I won't be back but if you must eat here check your bag before you pull away. read more

After only receiving half our order we let them know and two employees said they don't care and told us to go away like I didn't receive most of my stuff. The Mcdonalds on S.E.82nd and stark in Portland OR, will charge you over $3.00 more for the same food as some other Mcdonalds will. I ordered 2 Mcdoubles, 2 McChickens and a Coke. The price never came up on the board and when I asked for the price the guy showed the price screen at the drive thru for about 1 second after repeated tries to get a price at the drive thru. After 5 minutes in line, he told me verbally that the price was $10.39. The Mcdonalds on N.E 82nd South of Freemont did the same exact thing. They Obviously do not want you to see the price of the food you ordered. And you will not get a receipt either. They got me once before, but I thought maybe I was wrong. I drove away from both without ordering the second time. This really made me mad. I do not go to any Mcdonalds much anymore, Because I never know what the bill will be. read more

Ok, I am completely re-vamping my prior review. This McDonalds deserves a lot of credit. Inside...it is spotless. The staff is courteous. I'm "off" any chicken sandwiches because of a previous bad experience...but recent burgers have actually been excellent. The fries have been consistently hot and not too salty. I know a lot of people don't like McDonald's food, but I do...and I have been completely happy every time I've gone there lately. I can't help but hope the prices will come back down again in the future..but that's an issue everywhere. read more

The cashier sucks! put in a BOGO code from the app for first order and the second order with my rewards points code expiring the next day, tried to charge full price of the BOGO purchase he must've used it and cancelled out the order while being confused between the two orders. Went back around the drive thru and tried to use the code and they said it was invalid even though one of the pick up window employee said I should go ahead and do that, second time around the employee on the speaker was clueless! I asked if a manager can override and honor it, and just got the same response a few times "Uhhhhhh... ZERO stars. Five minutes of arguing with the drive thru attendant trying to get a breakfast sandwich without meat. A VERY common order I've gotten dozens of times. McDonald's website clears states this is an option - all you have to do is make a fresh sandwich and not put meat on it. They tried to charge $9 to order the biscuits and eggs separately and were completely unwilling to accommodate this easy request. read more

Despite less than fantastic reviews posted previously, we decided to stop here for a quick take away brekky and got their bacon and egg biscuit with a hash brown. Quick and efficient service, hot freshly cooked food, plus it was delicious! We don't get biscuit brekky in Australia, so it was a real treat for me, and I'm loving American biscuits!!! read more

I generally come to this location because it's on the way to most anything that I do. But this location never stands up to the others in my opinion. This is the only McDonald's I drive up to, and worry they'll mess it up, or not have something I'm looking to order, or not offer good customer service. For example, yesterday I came through and both drive thru girls were so sweet and offered good vibes. Today, I came through to order the same exact thing because it was delicious and I actually really liked my vanilla iced coffee (and I had a coupon lol). But I didn't have a great time in the drive thru. They must've been busy, but no one smiled or asked me if I needed anything else or wish me a good day. I just didn't feel welcome coming through. But I get it, I used to work in food service for many years and sometimes I could feel I wasn't giving my best effort. Was handed the iced coffee and it looked horrible. Asked if it was the vanilla iced coffee and she lightly nodded and handed it to me. About 3/4th creamer and the rest coffee--okay maybe it'll taste good if I mix it up. Didn't taste any vanilla syrup--well I can manage with plain iced coffee I guess. Then as I kept trying to love it, I couldn't taste ANY coffee. Very irritated since I just got home, I drove back, went inside because I didn't want to deal with the drive thru ladies again, and got a really really nice cashier. I didn't catch her name. But she apologized and told a manager who then looked at me and yelled for her to remake it with a touch of attitude. Honestly, felt sorry for the cashier. She seemed newer. She came back and asked if I could taste it and if I wanted it sweeter, she could put more vanilla in it. Much better customer service than anyone else there today. It has been bad weather here in Portland and we finally got out today and looked forward to a hot chocolate visit at McDonalds. 1. The young person at the counter was not friendly and acted put out when we asked what was the difference between a mocha and a hot chocolate. "no difference" he muttered. 2. There are signs put up everywhere that this McDonalds is for paying customers only, no loitering, etc. 3. Despite the signs my husband and I were possibly the ONLY "real" paying customers -- the place was filled with loud foul mouthed street people and homeless. It made us quite nervous. I feel badly about homeless people, and I am grateful not to be one of them, but I don't expect McDonalds to be a warming shelter. 4. Our table was filthy and we had to wipe it ourselves. 5. As if all this weren't enough, our drinks (that cost 6 dollars plus) were not even close to being hot. Lukewarm. Entire visit extremely disappointing. read more

I did it for you... Okay, we've all been there. This morning I decided to try out this new fangled chicken biscuit for breakfast. Not sure what all played into that idea. Maybe it was my craving for McFood after last nights Yelp event at the Dockside. Maybe it was the commercial right before I pulled into the drive through, whatever. At any rate, I did it for you. I tried it so you don't have to. Turns out, the chicken is different. Its moist & the batter is appealing to the eye. But as soon as you get one whiff you know that's some funky chicken. I think maybe they reached a little too far with this one. They tried to be too southern or too something and they screwed it up with some herb or flavor that just shouldn't be there. I think maybe it was dill? Either way, its all wrong. Take my word for it, stick to the sausage on that biscuit. read more

Came here around 12:30am through the drive thru last night. Cash only so I assume the computers were down. Sadly it seemed like they shouldn't even have been open...the food was lukewarm so that was a bit concerning and we ate them right away. The fries tasted like they had been sitting out for days and they were lukewarm too. I feel bad for the girl, it almost seemed like she was the only one working, but talked to us with "here's that" impatiently when she handed us stuff. Our friends went here about 30 minutes before us and said their food was cold but we were hungry and thought maybe it was just them. What can you expect from a McDonalds though...I was just expecting it to at least taste like McDonalds. I've been here in the morning before and they were super nice then. read more

Every few months, I get this sudden urge to make terrible life decisions... like eating at McDonald's or developing a debilitating drug addiction. This location provided an extra bad breakfast experience, and I probably should have just opted for some crack instead, in retrospect. Even though I immediately stuffed my hash brown in my face, it was a bit on the lukewarm side. I'm used to food served at a temperature that can burn off a few layers of skin if you're not careful. Most of the staff was great. A few members not wearing any mask at all which is shocking since it is a statewide workplace mandate. I'm not even talking like they had it under their chin or not over their nose. Like ZERO mask on site so if this is how they and by default management cares about following the health and safety guidelines I would strongly recommend NEVER getting food from this store.
