This was your average McDonalds. I was stopping after working as a sports official. McDonalds has gone to "kiosk" ordering, so I walked up their kiosk and started an order. After going from the top of the sandwich menu to the bottom, I went back to the top and ordered a Big Mac. Why? Because I haven't had one in ages. No fries - I've found I just eat them for the salt. No drink - I had water in my car. The kiosk upon completing the order, asked me to put in my "table tent" number. Unfortunately, there weren't any table tents at this kiosk, so I looked back and found one of two on the other kiosk, and put the number in. The kiosk then groaned like it was trying to print a receipt but nothing came out. A few minutes later, my Big Mac was delivered and my table tent retrieved. The Big Mac was hot and fresh, which was nice. It actually looked like the menu. I could see people using the soft drink dispenser. The restaurant was fairly clean. The floors weren't sticky, but the tables could use more cleaning / wiping between guests. No bugs noted, but it was -6 Deg F outside, so maybe they are all frozen? read more

Very clean restaurant. The custodian is outside and inside cleaning the windows so they don't look greasy. Food is served hot and fresh. The bathrooms are also very clean. Manager greets us warmly every week when our group of ladies meet for breakfast. The workers and the manager and the custodian all make us feel welcome. read more

This is my favorite location I moved out here 2yrs ago an have met so many great people at this location Betsy manager at this location has great customer service I here she is amazing to work for. Rick the order taker is my favorite if he isn't there when I go my day isn't the same he is so great at his job an has been training new crew members all the time I always tell him train them to be as good as you are at your job.the quality of food is great you can tell they take pride in serving there guest good fresh food the cleanliness of the store is amazing especially recently they hired a young man Paul who loves to make this place shine inside an out while doing his cleaning gives great customer service to the guest in lobby If u are looking for good fresh breakfast,lunch or dinner responsibly priced come check this location an have a great guest experience read more

We stopped today (Nov. 3) at 2 p.m. I attempted to enter the women's rest room. THE DOOR TO THE FOUR-STALL REST ROOM WAS LOCKED. Who locks the door to the rest room in the middle of the day? At first, I thought it must just be stuck, but I walked to the ordering counter to report that the door to the women's rest room (which is NOT a one-stall situation) would not open. The girl apparently "in charge" acted like she knew all about this and that I should wait. Just then a young waitress person came out and used her sleeve area to wipe her nose. Why? I asked her, "Why did you lock the door to the women's rest room?" Young Italian-looking waitress, possibly named Robin: "Privacy." I am still trying to figure out WHY the women's restaurant has this lock on it and why the girl in charge would allow another staff member to lock herself in the rest room (for quite a long time) at 2 in the afternoon on a Friday when she was supposed to be working. I can only think of one reason why this girl had locked herself in the rest room. Her move to wipe her nose with her sleeve just reinforces that hunch. I asked for this young girl's name. She refused to give her name, but, later, one of the two girls was referenced by the name "Robin." I told her that I was going to call McDonald's Corporate because something was definitely "off" if there is a need for an old-fashioned lock on the main entrance of a four-stall rest room. The staff was so involved with each other that they barely waited on us, anyway. There were two high-school aged girls (one the small Italian-looking rest room user and a taller girl, both young) and one boy who seemed to merely be lounging around chatting with the two girls. Last time we stopped at this restaurant it took about half an hour for a simple order because I think they totally forgot about us. I came home and called McDonald's Corporate, because I used to be an owner in a franchise system, and if someone were doing something like this in my business, I'd want to know about it. They obviously need an adult who can supervise the place during business hours, because there was no real "adult' in charge and the taller of the two girls knew that the small Italian-looking girl (Robin?) was in the bathroom with the door locked, and apparently felt that was fine. They have also turned what used to be a cozy place into a very sterile environment that is totally unwelcoming with strange things going on. This is the McDonald's that is right off I-80 as you head west, with mile marker 70 just past it when you continue driving west, with "Toddville" and some other town names that come up as soon as you commence your journey westward (We were driving from Chicago to the IA/IL Quad Cities. I believe the address is 5251 Trumpeter Road, but the staff, when asked, refused to give information that would help me pin down which (of 2) of Peru, Illinois' locations is specifically this one. It should be fairly easy to go take a look at the entrance to the women's rest room to find out if THIS is the one. I'll never stop there again! read more

They've got the right crew working here! Friendly staff. They heard my order with no problem. When I asked about the rewards, answered my questions with neither hesitation nor irritation. The food was delicious. My biscuit was soft and moist. No crunch to it, which is how I like it. I'll definitely come back to this one if I pass this way again. read more

I went in for two iced coffees and two fries and a shake. I was the only person at the counter. Took them awhile to acknowledge me. Took order walked away. Made shake very quickly. Waited waited waited some more for my coffees and fries. A lady came in behind me and ordered a meal. She got her meal before I even got anything. Manager lady ( blonde with pony tail) gave me my fries. (Kid was still making my coffees.) a line started to form at the counter. I finally told one of the ladies that there was a line forming. She looked at the line and walked away to the back talking in her headset. I finally got my coffees. (People behind me still had not been helped). Here's my deal, I manage a retail store. I train my associates to be curteous and helpful and to smile. Your team that day was a bunch of kids except for the older blonde lady and they completely ignored your customers. And your team thinks they need to make 15 an hour? My team doesn't make that and does a way better job than your team did that day. It put me off and made me think how the leader of that team is not a leader. It was a sad display of what you guys stand for. For one, not fast at all, and two the team acted like customers didn't exist. I'm sorry, but without your customers you don't exist. read more
