I came here last week for breakfast with my grandma. The waitress was friendly and very attentive. She kept coming back to the table and asking us if we needed anything else. I ordered off the $10 menu and had a super slam. It came with two eggs, two bacon, two sausages, a lot of hashbrowns and two large pancakes. I thought all the food was very good. I really enjoyed the pancakes the best. I even got two meals out of my meal because they give you a good portion of food. My grandma had the steak, eggs and hashbrowns for $10 and she really enjoyed her meal as well. They have a really affordable menu for dinner as well. I recommend giving them a try. read more

Never in my life have I experienced what I did in this restaurant.. yes, we came in a large party, so we were more than understanding that it would be a little bit of a wait... but the absolute could have never imagined in my 42 years would I have to experience such blatant disrespect. We waited over an hour for our food, and it was already pretty late when we walked in so at that point everyone was extremely tired and wanted to go home. The moment we told our waitress that when she finally reappeared from the kitchen and had all of our food. Ice cold food on hot plates. The sauces on the side were curdled from being under the heat lamp. Everything was literally thrown together.. after waiting that long and receiving the food in this manner people started walking out. I did stay and ask to take my food to go and the waitress told me I was paying for the entire bill... absolutely not. Tried explaining to her the situation and how it's understandable that they were angry and didn't want to eat that. Cops were called and she was yelling and cussing at me. Telling the cops a WHOLE different story. I did end up leaving and paying for my food that was inedible, but I refused to pay for the other 15 orders that looked so horrible.. I wouldn't even feed it to my pigs. Plus, tables were leaving left and right because of the absolutely terrible service and food. I have never and will never step foot in this restaurant again. read more

Mary was an awesome server. Always checked in on us and fulfilled all special requests, such as sauces. So was the assistant manager whose name I don't remember. First time at this Denny's and it was great. Social distancing and face masks are required. Mary was our waitress, and she was very attentive and friendly. She took our order, and checked on us through out our visit. I ordered a omelette with well done mushrooms with cheese, red potatoes, hot chocolate and a lemonade to drink. I love hot chocolate, and it was delicious. :-) My husband ordered the lumberjack slam. I had toast with my meal, and my husband had pancakes with his meal. The food came, and only one complaint. The grits were ice cold. Ms. Mary took the grits back and brought us hot grits. She apologized for the issue, and the food was delicious. Before we left, Ms. Mary have us a lovely Christmas card. We visited on a Saturday morning and they appeared to be understaffed based on the very long time it took for both service and food. Our table wasn't quite clean and we had to wipe off crumbs from the table and seats. The food was delicious, it just took a very long time to come out. read more

#85-2021 No changes on my end I see there's been some people with some lousy reviews but I came in I was seated promptly asked to sit in the booth where I like to sit at this one. she said it was open said it was fine. They've been like everybody place trying to keep staff going and everything it's not back to 24 hours but they are open till midnight for now but it could be subject to change you never know but as of now they're open till midnight which is nice. It's been over 2 years since I last made my last review here so I thought I'll do it again I came in was really hungry belly was growling so I decided to get the what I call the chicken fried chicken. They have another name for it here but it's basically the same as many other places it's like a chicken fried steak which is a beef cube Patty they have also and then you bread it and then you fry it like chicken. Chicken fried chicken is taking a nice boneless skinless chicken breast breading it and then frying it and I had french fries and country gravy over the whole shebang and the corn for a side. And a diet ginger ale or two. All I know I leave in the stars at 4 it's above average in my opinion doing a great job keep up the good work. read more

This place has really turned around! Went tonight for dinner but we felt like breakfast so that's what we had. Everything was cooked perfect and the hash browns were nice and crispy. Had Denny's cook my Thanksgiving dinner for me so I could be lazy and spend more time with family instead of cooking. Let me tell you everything was so delicious. The turkey was the best I've ever had. It was very juicy and flavorful. Everything from the stuffing to the mashed potatoes to the gravy was excellent. The Manager Josh had everything ready for me when I arrived to pick it up and even carried it out to my vehicle. May even have them cook my Christmas dinner this year too. The lady that had answered the phone and made my Oreo Shake had the "I'm always right, you're always wrong" attitude. So that's sad because she was indeed wrong. But my Oreo shake I ordered was not as pictured, heavily filled with chocolate and absolute 0 Oreos mixed inside. Maybe half an Oreo crumbled on top. I can see where she may have forgot or gotten confused or forgotten to add them but the attitude about it was quite insane. Change careers if you can't have a usual conversation. Had no intentions of being rude, or looking for refund. Just wanted to inform about the miss hap so the next doesn't get a chocolate shake instead of oreo as they ordered. Maybe just avoid this place all around, the rest of the reviews are dog JSYK I ate 2 pieces of Oreo that came up my straw. What's left behind is the "measured" amount of Oreos. Had a lovely dinner with my boyfriend tonight & decided to get the "salmon salad your way" , & it was delicious and filled me up well! They have great new appetizers with spicy buffalo wings and many other choices:) as well as an upgraded menu. The service was incredible, we had a very nice man as our waitress and the other gentleman were very kind making sure our food was perfect and giving refills,/making us laugh as well as great music playing that we jammed out to! At one time Denny's was reasonable. The prices are ridiculous. $10 for a burger and 10 French fries? I've eaten at many across the US due to the fact that they have placed them in all the truck stops. I hope they fail. Wow, I had the wrong idea about Denny's. I really have only gone to IHOP mostly since they are more plentiful, but I had a gift card and gave this LaSalle location a try. Easy to get to via route 6 or 80. The location is part of a huge trucker's stop so there's ample parking, and the restaurant is attached to a huge gas station with shopping (slushees and shirts and pre packaged food, refrigerated aisle, etc. The restaurant is clean and spacious. I really liked the ambiance. There's a large tv and the booths easily fit four normal sized people. The food is so inexpensive, but the same in quantity (slightly more actually) than IHOP! My party got the meat lovers grand slam -- 2 huge pancakes slathered in tons of butter, 3 sausage links, 3 bacon, and 2 eggs for $5.99! Platters at other places are twice this price. The food was delicious. We all enjoyed the food. Kids meals are $3.50. On Tuesday's and Saturday's from 4pm - 10pm, kids eat free with each adult entree. And seniors get 25% discount on Thursdays after 4pm too. Our waitress was excellent. I'm coming back for sure next time I'm in town. read more

This Denny's is not great. I ordered the Salmon it tasted too fishy I sent it back. The manager was happy to replace it with a serloin steak and let me take the salmon to give to my dog. The steak was excellent. When I was checking out, the waitress had charged me $7.99 extra for the salad. I explained to her the salad was a side item that comes with the meal. The manager had to come out a second time and take the salad off the bill. Then the manager asked me if I was a truck driver, to give me the 10% discount, I told him that I am, but I had a coupon I wanted to use. The coupon was for 25% off, but when I looked at my receipt he only gave me 20% off. I didn't even wana bother with him, since it was only a .60 cent difference.
