    Wings?

"Mild" wings are too spicy, then they are a mess and blobs of meat as shown in the picture. The fried ravs were terrible, tough dough rings with bad taste.

Biggest pork tenderloins you will ever see in your life. We ordered 3 for the six of us and after eating we have two left. Honestly the laughter associated with the giant portion is like a whole side dish of fun.

    Best Tenderloin ever!

I grew up in the Illinois Valley area and have had Tenderloins from just about everywhere, except Flos on Pulaski until today. Hands down the BEST Tenderloin you will find in LaSalle Co. I don't know if it's the light crunchy breading, or the thickness of the Tenderloin packed with mouth watering flavor, the very reasonable price (Hint: Thursdays are Tenderloin special day) heck maybe it's all of the above. One Tenderloin can feed 2 to 3 people. It's well worth the drive from wherever to get one. I now live in Florida where tenderloins are non existent. This was definately a treat!

Great food. The best wings , garlic Parmesan balls and bacon wrapped cheese curds. Nice bar to hang out. Staff is really friendly and accommodating .

    Tenderloin with fries

Called for to go order. Agreed to hold where the phone was set down active for 15 minutes. No one picked it up until as I was walking in the door the woman with bright red hair hung it up on me. A young man who was very nice and helpful Took my tenderloin order which is $8 per the menu(.50 upcharge for takeout container), with fries(baked potato is option). Bright red haired woman brought it out and gave tab of $9.50 and walked off. Tenderloin was good, though the grease either was old old or had other food flavors in it diminishing the tenderloin flavor, in my opinion. Thin, plate sized with cracker crumbs breading. If I could give her tip to the cook I would but that would've been insulting to the cook given her tip, based on the service provided.

All I heard about was all these places that had great breaded tenderloin. I moved in down the street from Flo's and didn't really think it was going to be much judging by the outside. But the other night I thought I would give it a try and let me tell you it blew all the other pork tenderloins that I have tried since being here out of the water. Friendly people, great atmosphere and the price was right. I paid $6 or$7 for a giant sandwich and fries.

Our go to place for a classic Illinois Valley fried pork tenderloin or a good old burger. Try the fried chicken as well. Highly recommended

Screwed up my order. Charge more for carry outs and credit cards. Go to Jake's Pour House, Jacks Tap, Four Star, or Liberty.

Excellent giant pork tenderloins. My wife and I had to split it. They also have fantastic fries.

Be sure to ask if Owner John is there (I bet he always is if he didn't already find you) and ask him about the specials (and maybe anything else he has been cooking up in the kitchen). We randomly found 9th Street Pub after touring the City of LaSalle's Celebration of Lights (another new tradition) on our way home to Bloomington. While I was definitely not totally sold on the bar setting (especially with our 13 y/o daughter with us), John greeted us right away and made us feel welcome with his hospitality and insight into the menu. We all got delicious apps, me a Reuben (which was awesome and a true classic - not typical bar food), and my wife got a short-rib special (that you won't find anywhere else in a Pub)!! My wife and I will be back for sure - when we can have a few drinks, play some video poker or pool/darts, and maybe get lucky to have a DJ spinning - like who was setting-up on that random night at 9th Street Pub! Best wishes in 2024, John and 9th Street!

It certainly is cheap and looks it…read more 9th Street Pub is one of those bars located close to houses so it gets lots of regulars. Gets most of its customers from around. They have some pretty typical bar food if you like fried things. Bar and grill, with most of the focus being on the beers and cocktails. It's just best to not take chances and play it safe. The bar looks pretty divy from the outside, and rest assured it's like that on the inside too. Amazing that it's in the middle of a residential neighborhood. There must be noise complaints one can imagine about the crazy patrons. It's about $3 for the cheapest drinks. There's often specials including on beers and wells. Food menu has greasy favorites. It's about $8 for a burger or a sandwich. Loads of toppings. Big menu but most of it is meaty. There's a few things made with avocado and sprouts, but usually in combination with bacon or something. For sure it has a lot of choices if you're looking for typical bar food. It's located on the street it's named for obviously. They're even open for breakfast, so you can get your drinking on early, while getting eggs and whatever.

Given it's double the price of a single meat platter, I expected it to comfortably feed two. On the platter were two solid ribs, a quarter dark chicken, and one hot link which were all solid sharing portions. Brisket which I understand would be one of the more expensive items - was one slice plus a sliver of a dry end attached to it. I'm not sure if that's one slice or a one slice plus what one was counting as a second slice. This was a disappointing mark - I thought about asking the server about whether we should have at least a full second slice. Pulled pork - to me is a much less expensive item compared to brisket - yet a relatively small amount. Not as egregious as the easily measured brisket. Cole slaw - even if it was made in house as opposed a commercial bulk supplier, this is a low cost item no? Small dish. Quality is very good - just a question of the quantity. Tap water here seems filtered for neutral taste. It was a nice day on a quiet Sunday afternoon so we opted to get seated outside on the patio with umbrella shade. Traffic going by was light and quiet. Two servers available during the lull while we were there and the worked as a team to check on us outside.
