I will say their food is almost always hot but like someone else said their ice cream machine is almost always broken. They don't not make food in order as people have come in after us numerous times & received their food first. Their garbage is always overflowing & tables are always dirty. Worst McDonald ever! Placed order via app and they said that I had to circle around the drive through for each order placed on the app. There was no one behind me. (I indicated drive through pickup on the app at the time of order being placed). The orders were already done and just sitting on the stainless steel table waiting for pickup. Not sure what has happened to this McDonald's. It used to be you could get in and out in about 15 minutes for a drive through order. The last few weeks, it has taken over 1/2 hour each time. We went there tonight after my husbands 21st birthday bash, we went to threw the drive threw were there was a very rude young lady, we ordered then pulled up to lay where they gave up way to much change. This place is notorious for making mistakes in orders, especially if they are done through GrubHub or to go so don't eat here unless you dine in. I just had yet another mistake. I ordered through GrubHub a quarter pound with cheese meal and they forgot the fries. They literally forgot the fries. I got only a refund on the fries to GrubHub but when I called the store, they just did not seem to care. In fact, they seem to laugh when they heard that they made another mistake. I told him I was gonna call corporate and they told me to go ahead. They literally don't give a damn whether they make a mistake or not. They seem like they're invincible and they are smug and unprofessional and unfriendly. Probably the worst McDonald's in Western New York. The managers are smug assholes, and should not be allowed to run a fruit stand, never mind a franchise location. They hire incompetence who probably know they will never be fired and will take the $15 an hour wage while doing nothing to justify that ridiculous wage....the absolute pitts. Went to the mcdonald's drive through after a few basketball games looking for a sweet cold drink. I was in the drive through and waited at least 3 minute, maybe 4 or 5 before I was tended to. When someone finally talked to me they did not have working ice cream machines as usually, she said they were out of all flavors of slushies and some how also did not have dr pepper, sprite, orange crush, or root beer. I don't know what was going on in there because it was around 3:45 and I was the only person in the drive through and still waited multiple minutes at a FAST FOOD restaurant to end up leaving because they either somehow had no drinks or didn't want to serve me read more

I went to McDonalds on a Wednesday night 7:30pm and when I ordered my food there was an employee in the kitchen with their mask around their chins, along with another 3-4 employees only covering their mouths not their noses while preparing food. Then another employee walked out from behind the counter to order food with no mask on at all (or one even in sight!). This is irresponsible and a health hazard to all they are preparing food for. I will not be returning any time soon to this location. For the safety of Penfield, I might recommend you go elsewhere for your food. All I got here today was my large unsweetened ice tea which I like and for $1 it's a great deal. I gave them 4 because if I place a larger order (2-3 meals) they are served fast but I have a 50/50 chance of something being wrong or missing. I had to go inside and order which isn't a big deal I end up doing this more often then not when the drive thru is backed up. Joe took my order and he was very friendly and helpful. I've received such bad service so many times in a row that I've resorted to leaving an actual yelp review I've gone 5-6 times in the past 2 months and every single time I've gone their ice cream machine has been "broken". Racists. Really bizzare. Tried to order a black coffee as I have for many years. Little woke white teenager kept trying to correct me and say "you mean plain coffee" over and over and then refused to take my order, implying I was racist for properly calling a coffee the color black, which it is and has been called for many decades before he was born by people of all races. A manager took my order at the window because apparently this white boy was somehow so offended for someone he couldn't finction. Worse off we called an hour later to ask what happened and whoever it was was too cowardly to admit he made an iosdie out of it. Sometimes the employees are friendly and courteous. Sometimes they are miserable. One thing is for sure, don't change your order in any way and expect them to get it right. Granted it's McDonald's but sheesh, these folks want 15 bucks an hour and can't remember to press a "no onion" button 3 seconds after you say it? We have caught them giving us burgers with mustard scraped off. Not to mention the burgers are 7- 8 dollars which you can get at a real restaurant. I went through the drive-thru and ordered 2 bacon Mcdoubles with no bun, and no ketchup with extra onion, and pickle. When I drove home 10-15 minutes I realized I was given 2 bacon Mcdoubles with no bacon and no onion and no pickle. It was just a bunch with burgers and ketchup. It was literally the exact opposite of what I was looking for. When I got to the store I asked to speak to a manager and Jaclyn(sp?) who was a shift trainer and manager said she is one. I started to explain my situation and she rudely cut me off and said, "well are you going to give me the receipt or what?" I advised her I'd like my order remade and a refund for my order since I had to drive back to the store to get it fixed, after getting all the way home. I've worked in food service collectively for almost 10 years. This is a very reasonable request, that any other place I've been wouldn't think twice to honor. She advised me it's company policy that "we don't give refunds, we're busy tonight I don't know what to tell you" and walked away. While I was waiting for Joe, who was very nice by the way to remake my food, the phone was ringing the whole time and when a team member advised Jaclyn that it was ringing, she replied, "yeah I know, I'm busy, they can wait" When I got my food from Joe, he said "oh wait, he had 2 sides of mac sauce on the order as well" to which Jaclyn replied "his burgers have already been remade, that's good enough" Obviously, this was not good enough and did not fulfill my order, so a kind team member took my request after Jaclyn walked away and asked Joe for the sides, which he assisted with getting. She then gave me the sides and said "here" and walked away again. I waited for her to come back and said, "I need my receipt back please" to which she responded, "we don't have it anymore" I advised her I watched Joe make my food using it, so he still has it. Thankfully he overheard and gave it to me, as she was clearly holding it hostage knowing I was going to use it to reference my terrible experience. Beyond me needing it to complain, and document my experience, I paid on a credit card, and need that for my finances. She made no eye contact, didn't offer any apology, any empathy, and didn't even have any common decency during the exchange. I cannot believe someone of her caliber was chosen for a job, where you should be specializing in these skills. She clearly needs some sensitivity training, or to learn basic Management 101 skills when interacting with customers. I have never felt so disrespected in any establishment before in my entire life, and probably never will again. I will never re-visit this McDonalds, and will make sure anyone who mentions it or frequents it find a different one to go to where they won't have to deal with Jaclyn. She made me feel like she was the one being inconvenienced in the situation, and she made me feel beyond unwelcome in that store. I imagine I was not the only one she was awful to that night, or other nights. It's worth closing by saying Joe was extremely friendly, and the general manager Susie called me and offered what she could to resolve the situation. read more
