DO NOT get the hot picante sauce from the McDonalds on 102 E International. In fact, I don't recommend going there at all given my recent experiences. I mean, who expects top notch service from fast food. At the minimum, I do expect them to care about the food they provide to the public. A few weeks ago my brother asked for a coke with no ice. Of course, the coke was filled with ice and he asked nicely for it to be without at the window. The lady sat there and starred at him and said "omg .. your F*** kidding.. did you say that?" Uhm, yes..yes we did.. she continued to sit there at stare at us until we said whatever don't worry about it. The world's simplest task couldn't be done and the response to correct it was disgusting and sad they allow that in their store. This morning, I decided to get breakfast from there and the morning crew is usually good. Not today, and it spoke volume to what they allow to come through there and serve the community. I always get the hot picante sauce, I know what it's supposed to look and taste like. I had 4 packets and 3 out of 4 were brown and clumpy and had a horrible smell. I didn't even trust the somewhat normal looking packet given the ratio of 3 out of 4 is not so good... I called to express my concern that they are sending out a bad batch of sauce. I get it, things happen and things go bad, open a new box and stop serving the old stuff. I never gave a good experience at this McDonald's. Tonight I went and got two McFlurrys. One mini and one regular I paid for extra Oreo in both and neither of them had extra Oreo nor were they even mixed. I have never had such bad service and of course when I try to call about it after getting home and realizing they're not even mixed no one answers. Take the extra five minutes to drive out of the way this location is horrible!!! read more

They put the orders in right barely half the time and after the orders are put in they still don't get the sandwiches right. What's so hard about no American cheese only ketchup? I never care to go in there cause it doesn't seem pleasant. If I had kids, I wouldn't take them there because the ambience is so boring and non-kid friendly. This McDonalds might as well be abandoned. Service is awful and sometimes there are no employees there during open hours or they pretend to not be there and hide in the back. They make excuse after excuse as to why they can't make your food, and the final straw was one of the employees stole my credit card information and tried to make a $2000 purchase from Apple. I know it was there because it was the only place I'd been where my card was handled. The lady was fidgeting with it at the drive through window for a good few minutes before giving it back. My mom JUST got home from this McDonalds and she ordered a Big Mac meal and a Filet-O-Fish and there was NOTHING wrong with her side of the meal and she ate hers before even getting home. I am eager to eat my Big Mac after I eat my fries and I open up the box and there's a freaking cinnamon muffin sitting inside of it. I was at this location on 9/16 and watched one of the workers get treated completely irrationally. No worker should get treated so badly that they leave sobbing, completely unacceptable. The workers on this shift should get fired or punished for the way they were treating that poor girl. As a previous fast food worker I have never seen a team treat their coworkers so badly. As McDonalds go this is a good one, they have dual drive thru ordering lanes big plus, paid at 1st window the attendant was super nice confirmed my order took my money thanked me for stopping she had a great smile. Picked up my order at second window greeted with a smile she double checked my order made sure I had a straw and napkins and thanked me for stopping. The food was delivered fast and hot the sandwich was put together neatly and it was a good experience. If I have to stop to grab a quick lunch on the go this is my choice. :-) great job seems to be well managed the grounds were clean it was busy but they were efficient. read more

I have never had a worse fast food experience. I waited 40 minutes after ordering my food inside, while multiple employees made themselves food and ate it in front of us. One of the employees was clearly very drunk, and some random kids kept coming in and taking to him. All of this was happening while we were the only ones in line waiting for food. After 40 minutes, they randomly decided to ask what we ordered and started to make it for us. I've never left a review for anything before, but this needed to be seen. I really don't think I've been to this McDonalds enough to give it a full review, so please take this one with a grain of salt. I mostly use the drive-thu and haven't had any problems in years. However, since I started working third shift, I use the drive-thru at about 10pm to get a drink or snack on my way into work. I have to say that the staff's courtesy is like night and day. Recently, I stopped by with the intention of getting a tea and sandwich. Then, when it was my turn, the associate was extremely nasty. It wasn't what she said, it was HOW she said it. I immediately changed my mind about the sandwich and just ordered my tea. When I pulled up to the window, she had no pleasantries at all. No smile or anything. When she handed change back, she tossed it into my hand and it fell all over the ground outside, then she slammed the window and walked away. Didn't apologize, offer to help, or even show concern. Got a call back from corporate and was giving me a full meal replacement and would put my name on a list at that location in DeLand. I verified that location had my name on a list. I've been coming to this McDonalds every single morning, five days a wk for my drinks and sometimes breakfast before work. I've dealt with very sweet people. About a wk ago they messed up on my sandwich, and I called Wesley. (He knows me by name) he was great and said come by tomorrow, I'm here, and I'll get you your sandwich. (I'll write it in our book) Well I ended up very sick and didn't go. I went this morning to find out that another manager crossed my name out and refused to give it to me. Yes it was a 2 or 3 dollar sandwich but that's not the point. The fact of the matter is I didn't get it, I explained it to the other manager, and he flat out told me no. On Tuesday the 27th I waited in the drive through lane for OVER AN HOUR. I take this as being my fault because I should have left but I was starving and exhausted and figured how busy could a McDonald's be at midnight on a Tuesday. Boy was I wrong and after that entire wait- which once I got to the first window the awesome lady taking my money informed me they were short-staffed with only 4 people including a manager- the food was ice cold. If I could give this McDonalds location 0 stars I would. Me and my sister went last night around 12. They forgot our sauce when we went around the first time so we went back around and the middle aged black woman at the second window was extremely rude. We rolled up to the window and she tried handing us a bag (because she thought we had just ordered) we explained we just came around again because we needed our sauce and she THREW THE BAG to the side and ROLLED HER EYES! Then she gave us one sauce and didn't say a word.. just glared at us. My sister was scared to ask the lady for another sauce so she decided to go inside, hoping she would get a different employee to help her. When she went in the same lady was near the counter yelling at the other workers "it's not my job to do this... it's not my job to do that" and then rang my sister up continuing to be extremely rude basically throwing the bag at my sister and not having an ounce of good customer service. They weren't busy, but it took 15 minutes to get my food, which with their new "table service", had been given to the wrong customer, so they had to make it over. The other reviews on this McDonald's are correct. It is seriously one of the worst run fast food places I have ever been to. All of the workers here have the worst attitude towards the customers and never treat the consumer with respect.
