This is the only McDonald's that I have been to that will not replace the apples with an extra fry in the kid's meal. Service here is terrible. Very few customers inside but it was very noisy. Where do I start from the cashier taking our order in the drive thru sounding as if she was high or on some type of meds to waiting on our order for close to 30 minutes gor the food that received gave us our worst experience eating McDonalds for as long as I can remember our burgers literally looked as if they were partially overcooked and the patties were hard as if they were a couple days old. This is by far my worst experience with McDonalds and we have been going to many of the restaurants from many different places. The menu screen at drive thru was not on. Made a very simple order. After paying was told to pull over and wait. After 20 minutes I walked in to cancel my order. Manager said her staff didn't show up for work. They also ran out of biscuits while I was standing there!! they took my ticket and made my order. This is nothing new for this location. Came to get a quick bit and went inside instead of drive thru. The staff was helpful and friendly while walking me through how to use the $15 per hour minimum wage destroying electronic ordering kiosk. The food came out quick and tasted as it always had. No complaints other than a small weird thing thst bothers me, they have 2 special private parking spots for Veterans (2 thumbs up) but yet do not offer a veteran/military discount (I asked), this has me perplexed but does not take away any stars for the restaurant itself and I only gave 4 stars due to the fact I think the only 5 star McDonald's would be the specialty ones scattered across the country. All that said if you want a quick McDonald's experience you can't go wrong in your travels down I20 or even if you live in town. This is really Zero stars, for zero food, zero service. All of the people waiting in the drive thru were patient. A few left the line. We are all well aware that restaurants are short staffed. However this McDonalds location uses that as a reason to provide only subpar customer service. After a 25 minute wait (4th in line to the order screen, 2 lanes open) I see a pattern. Two cars on #1 get service for every 1 car on #2. Six minutes at the menu and no order taken. I said hello 3 times. Someone said hello. I asked if they'd take my order. No response. I drove on and there's no one at the windows, yet we sat? I stopped and asked for the manager. I give them a try about once every four weeks or so. Several times they have told me that they were not serving breakfast burritos , and this was during breakfast hours. The last 2 times I have visited the service has been extremely slow and they have gotten the orders wrong.
