Clean McD's. Great pit stop for the weary traveler and to get something for the kids to eat. This one's a more modern McDonalds with the amenities of big city ones. It's McCafe-equipped to get your caffeine fix on...especially with no Starbucks or Coffee Bean anywhere close to here. Food is fresh...fries haven't been sitting around in the pan. Most importantly, there's a nice indoor play area with computer games. No stinky, yucky playground, but wall mounted touch-screen games where kids stand up and play...more educational puzzle type games. Well thought out because b/c kids aren't gonna stand there forever...they'll want to sit and eat after a while. Nice...just wash your kids' hands after cuz everyone's been touching 'em. They did not know much about the app, and said I couldn't use it on a breakfast meal even though it says everyday value meal which is different. This location is a convenient stop to fuel up your family as vehicle, as they have an indoor kids area with lowered tables, an adorable "playhouse," and touchscreens with puzzle games. My biggest disappointment was the quality of the food. My order was accurate, hot, and appeared fresh, but the fries were incredibly sad. So I order via mobile app for curbside delivery! I had a double bacon quarter pounder with cheese ! The young lady brings me my order no fries in the combo and no drink I ordered a combo she come out with half my food to inform me they are out of C02 so they don't have fountain drinks ! So it's already not going good it went from bad to worse quickly !! It seems that McDonalds is trying to get us customers to use their app for ordering without interaction with their employees. I am computer literate but still have many problems ordering while trying to use a coupon (BOGO) I wasted five minutes trying to order breakfast several times the past few months before giving up and asking for help. Not bad at all! We were on our way home from Palm Springs, and came across this location. Located high up on a hill, it was somewhat busy when we stopped. The interior of this location was a bit odd. Instead of a play area for kids, there was a small play house in the shape of an old-style Happy Meal box. I have never seen that until this location. We ordered double cheeseburgers and 'hot' fries. Just came to this location was driving by and ordered four coffees through the McDonald's app. I ordered two coffees that were warm and two iced coffee's. The location made my orders incorrect and flip them making my iced as I wanted my hot coffee be prepared and made my hot as my iced. The manager came out and gave us the orders since they had to make the coffees and had us wait to the side, only to find out that they were done incorrectly I let her know and she became really upset and took only one of the coffees. I went inside and I let her know that my order was incorrect and she became upset and told me just to throw them away with an attitude. Well I waited three other people came back in from the drive-through and claimed their orders were wrong and the managers attitude did not change she was rude to all of them. Not only that but I observed not only the manager Letty wearing her mask incorrectly but another of her employees as Well. Sitting area was clean (rated a B for food as of 2/5/15) We didn't eat because of the B rating. There is a small indoor play area for toddlers. (I don't think a kid bigger than 6 or 7 could fit in it. ) With several small child size tables in the same area. There are no more computers with games at this location. Women's bathroom: 2 stalls - only one of which had toilet paper. A women waiting in line went out to the restaurant and got us some paper napkins to use. Only 1 of 2 sensor sinks worked and only 1 of 2 blowers worked. All in all - it seems management does not keep up to date on the state of its women's bathroom! Food: We each ordered a double cheeseburger from the cheap menu and they were delicious. The fries were also good.
