It's been a long time since I walked into this location, and boy is it strange doing so now. When I was a kid, this was the only McDonald's near our house. The other was out on the east trail and we didn't go out that way too often, so this McD's was the place to go once or twice a month when Mom didn't feel like cooking. In the '70s/early '80s, this location used to have a crow's nest out front for the kids to climb up a ladder and play around in, oddly enough. I think they took it down when someone fell out of it if memory serves me. Yeah, and we used to slide on scorching hot metal slides back then and never wore seat belts, too. Walking in now, it's crazy to see how much it's changed with the times. I really love the Florida theme and branding on the inside, and honoring the old Naples Pier with the wallpaper. It's very retro vibe, but modern and classy at the same time. Love the interior. The problem with most modern day McDonald's is that they just don't have that personal feeling with the staff any more. You make your own order on the huge screens and wait for someone to just call out your number and they don't even say thanks. But, the food was really good, the tea tastes great and heck, they still serve McRib! But, $15 for all the food I got was kinda crazy, compared to when I used to buy a deep fried apple pie for 50 cents and climb up the crow's nest to eat it back in the day. FYI the Wendy's across the street is popping - if u are deciding on which I would pick Wendy's over McDonald's for this location. Anyway to the review. I set the bar pretty low for McDonald's so take this review with a grain of salt. Arrived to drive thru on a Thursday night around 8pm. Didn't look open but I went anyway. Got $5 meal deal and an Oreo shamrock McFlurry. Everything tasted pretty good, for McDonald's - especially the burger- however, the bun felt a little tough. My order was a bit messed up though, so if you're Someone who is really specific about what you want- maybe go inside and order or just get ready to check your order before driving off. They gave me regular coke instead of Diet Coke, and hot mustard instead of sweet and sour sauce - both of which I didn't ask to change because I had already left when I realized.. but while I was waiting, I was handed a milkshake and was like this is not what I ordered lol. So they remade that and gave me the McFlurry . I worked in food service as a server for over 10 years- messing up orders is easy to do when you dgaf about your job and you're not paying attention. I hope the folks working here who hate it take it upon themselves to go out there and find something else. You deserve better!!! read more

Went there at 6 PM in the heart of dinner ordered for me and my family and they didn't have change for $100 bill. So they canceled my order. Now there is no way they couldn't scrounge together $50 back there but they just chose to be rude instead. The kid working the drive-through acted like $100 bill was $1000 bill. Dear Owner, what I wish I knew if I were you: Lately they keep bagging everything without asking. Such waste, they don't ask anymore. I had to yell into the kitchen area and plea for a tray, asking several times not to bag my sole hash brown, and then sole French fries. We had ordered more before I returned to the counter. Still asking for a tray. There were NO tables clean to sit, plenty empty of people. We cleaned our own. There was small puddles of liquid and paper at my customer side of the counter where you stand to order. Had to ask someone to wipe it so I wouldn't get it on my clothes as I leaned over to talk. All the garbage cans were full. We fought to put away our trash. Feared what the restrooms must look There are plenty of workers, all behind the counter. Only a few customers inside, not a busy time of day. Guess the good manager was gone? Definitely you weren't around. Try stopping by for a surprise visit sometime. This was today, Sunday, around 5pm. This has to be the rudest most unfriendly McDonalds ever. Not that I frequent fast food places but today I was in a rush. First off they've locked the main doors with no sign directing where to go. There was an employee standing there and said nothing to me as I approached the place. I stood in line for 10 min be some came to me. She never said a word. Just stood there. I finally said "are you ready" and she just nodded at me. Food came and it was cold and no thank you or come again just a number and leave. This McDonalds provides EXTREMELY slow service. Each time I visit my order takes at least 15 to 20 mins, and we're talking small non complicated items: a single hamburger order or two happy meals. It's extremely frustrating. The owner or corporate needs to address this continuing problem. The drive-through line was ridiculous because there was only one lane open. When I was finally able to place an order, I requested three ice creams and three cookies. After paying for the items, I was told that I could only get one ice cream, which was what I had paid for. In the end, I had to go through the entire line again to get the two additional ice creams that were missing. I'm not sure why they botch up orders so badly, but the individual accepting the order affirmed that he had put all ice creams and all cookies. read more

This has to be the worst service provided at any McDonald's in the country. When I walked in, 3 employees were standing in the doorway having a conversation and ignored my entering their place of business to give them my money to pay their wages. The tea was--and almost always is--unpalatable. I live close by and this is the most convenient store to me. However, my wife and I avoid it because of the lack of good service and their failure to ensure that the tea is fresh. My perception: the average customer is retired and willing to accept bad service and bad food because they either don't know any better, or they are too polite to make a scene; and the staff takes advantage of that fact. read more

Absolutely the worst McDonald's in town. The breakfast staff (every time I've been at least) is the laziest bunch of people. Multiple times I've tried to get my wife an Iced Vanilla Latte to bring to her after her shift, and every single time they make it hot. When I correct them that it should be iced, they just fill up a cup full of ice and dump it in right there in front of you, leaving the drink they hand you watered down, lukewarm, and disgusting. And they absolutely refuse to do it the right way even if you call them out on it. If any part of the rest of your order is wrong, well that's what it says on the screen (even though your receipt says different...). Terrible service, lazy staff. Go up the road to Dunkin. Come here regularly for ice cream. Best deal and taste in town for a real hot fudge sundae with peanuts. The place is clean but the staff varies. Seems it depends on which shift you catch. The drive up person is usually decent, the indoor cashier person is usually new or clueless. Can't expect much from any Mac these days. They get more stars because the food is consistent, fast and their new free app is great. Tip: through their mobile app you get free fries every Friday and many other free items routinely. You tap into your local restaurant and the deals appear. You then use the bar code to subtract it into their system. Be patient and be glad someone is willing to work here for so little pay. Wow. I swung by here on my way home from work and waited almost 15 minutes for a double cheeseburger. The manager on duty didn't apologize at all when he handed me my phone but he did apologize to whoever he was talking to on his cell phone when I asked where my drink was and he had to respond to me and not them. This place is the worst!!!! Rude and unethical . After waiting for more than half an hour for what I ordered 2 sausage biscuits and a coffee, I requested a refund. I had to leave. I didn't get the food and the Manager Martha after several requests of a refund proceeds to refund a portion of what was paid.
