The crew was professional and on target! My special order was correct and delivered in a timely manner. The food was very good.

Went through the drive up but couldn't get the app to work, so I went inside so I would not hold up the line. The young man was so sweet and tried very hard to figure out what was going on. I could not get my cc to load. Kept taking me to some approval site which I have never seen. Even the young man could not make sense of it. A teenage girl was in line and saw I was frustrated and asked if she could help. She too could not figure it out but at least got it through so I could get my free ice cream. The young man who tried to help said, I am going to make you a big ice cream cone just for all this frustration. I was there for at least 15 minutes. Very sweet. if I could give this McDonald's 0 stars I would. How tf do you guys mess up my order 7 damn times. First I came through the drive thru and asked for the grinch meal. And they said that they were all out which I was fine with, so i decided to get a Big Mac meal with no onions with a large strawberry banana smoothie. I get to the window and come to find out nothing about my meal was correct. This is not the first time this has happened. The manager even tried to convince me that the drink was a large but nobody was falling for that. So thank you mc for ruining my day everytime I go through that damn drive thru. First time in Morehead and was driving around exploring and needed some quick nourishment. Saw this McDonald's and the one thing about McDonald's the menu is the same, which to me is a good thing when you are traveling. Pulled up to the drive thru and the person immediately took my order. Pulled up and paid at the window and by the time the payment was completed I could see the bag of food being held out the next window. Speed, pure and simple. Food was hot. I went for breakfast this morning and was moved to reserved one. Waited seven minutes for my sandwich while seven cars drove by with their sandwich picked up from the pick up window. This is terrible service for McDonald's and needs to be corrected. Don't make people wait while other people order after them and get their service before them. Totally not on brand. read more

We are frequent DT/Mobile regulars here, and moving from Raleigh where i've had the WORST experiences known to mankind--it's very refreshing that both locations down here serve hot and fresh food as that's not the case everywhere. There are a couple of young people here who seem like they can genuinely gauge 'working for a company' and just helping someone get what they ordered. They do it with a smile too. Wouldn't even give this place a one star. Horrible food & even worse customer service. Waited at the drive through for minutes waiting for someone to ask what we were gonna order. Finally got to order and was asking if we could get a medium fry with our meal, and she comes back with "did you order with the app?" and we said no. she said "okay well you need to order with the app next time. second window". Ummmm okay(??). So we get up there & they give us our stuff. I ALWAYS look at my food before I drive off in case they accidentally missed something. We look and the fries are a in a medium container, but it's not even halfway full. I ordered a mobile order 10 minutes ahead and got in the drive thru line. I play on my phone like most pple. I get up to the speaker and state my name and say I have a mobile order. they ask me for my code, and I try to look for it but when I go back to the McDonald's app, it's gone. the history on the app doesn't update quickly so it's not there either. I tell them that and they say I need to find the code anyway. Isnt my name and exactly what I ordered enough? I ended up paying for my food twice it was ridiculous. and I did pay for my mobile order cuz I checked my bank account. That manager was not polite at all and I should've just gotten my food. Stop here frequently. Staff are always friendly. Food is fresh. So much better than the other McDonalds we visit.

We came to this mcdonalds and ordered 2 sandwiches sausage mcmuffin with egg and sausage and egg biscuit.....$9. Stopped at kinston mcdonalds got the same thing and added an egg biscuit....$8. My boyfriend and I visited this mcdonalds around 2:30am expecting hot food made to order, I specifically asked for extra pickles on my McDouble and when I got home my burger had no pickles at all and it was cold. We also ordered 3 chicken wraps and they were cold as well. We tried calling and the phone was out of service so very poor quality customer service and quality of food. I was expecting better since they just opened back up a week ago. read more

This is a brand new McDonalds with touch screen ordering and all the bells and whistles. Management has managed to turn this into the dirtiest and slowest McDonalds I've ever been in, in only a few months. When I stopped to order breakfast (first time in the new building) I was amazed at the conditions. I spoke with the manager? ( no name tag but different colored shirt) and told him so. Counters covered with spilled beverages and empty bags and food on the floors. He said they actually were cleaning it up to catch up from the night before! I said it wasn't working! He said "actually it is" I told him he was losing the battle and left. There was no one working on cleaning in sight. Considering that it's a 24 hour location, it seems the night crew certainly doesn't do much and the fresh day shift even less. It took 10 minutes to get a coffee! Poor attention after placing my order, slow, and dirty. The new automated ordering system suffers from slow performance, with poor menuing, and unclear or incomplete instructions. Also, any deviation from a "normal" item can't be accomodated or maybe that's just a few pages further into the system! The few people that came in while I was there ordered from the counter, not the touch screen. All in all, a terrible McDonalds! read more

Went to eat here tonight expecting normal service but the food was disgusting, cold and slimy. The hamburgers were messy, cold and ketchup smeared all around bun. The meat was clearly hours old. The fries were soggy and cold. The sad part is they had us pull forward to wait on the food and they gave us all old nasty food anyways! Terrible experience would never eat there again! Just sat at the drive thru window for 20 minutes and my freaking fries were cold!!! Now I know it's midnight and that's why I am ok with waiting for FRESH food! The male manager who took my order was great but there were two employees standing right in front of the window flirting and giggling without a care in the world (window was open).. there seemed to be a lot of people on this shift on a Monday overnight for only one person to be in the back cooking and the rest of the employees to be standing around hanging all over eachother.. it didn't seem that busy so I wouldn't want to even imagine how terrible their labor is HAHA! Just went through the drive through at about 5:30 with my grandma. Got home and my fries were thrown in my bag upside down. My nuggets were thrown in the box which wasn't shut and was also upside down. My grandma ordered two mocha frappes which looked like soup. I ordered my son a kids meal and all he got in his box were the nuggets and no fries. Terrible service. Tried to call and make a complaint and the store would not answer. read more
