Worst McDonalds I have ever experienced. Very slow Drive Thru and hand picked rude employees. Very consistent though. Always bad.

Today they don't deserve any stars, watched the family in the drive thru before me and was wondering what was taking so long, they left, I pulled up, nobody came on the speaker, I honked, watched the people inside walking back and forth and ignoring the drive thru, drove to the window, knocked on the window, was again ignored, went inside, the workers were yelling. Complained to the young lady who took my order, her only response was that she was the person at the front, never asked if I would like to speak to somebody who was supposed to be the supervisor or manager. As I watched all of the other people waiting for their orders, everybody was very disappointed and frustrated with the complete and total lack of professionalism. Everybody there works at a slow pace, the food was cold, tea was stale. This is definitely the worst I have ever seen at a fast food franchise. read more

Worst McDonalds around. I've tried going twice and every time it's "hold on please" when there is only one car in the drive thru. Then you sit there for about 3-5 minutes. What a joke. read more

I went to here three separate times and each time I was there waiting for my food for about 25 minutes. Five minute wait to take my order. Ten minute wait to get to the window. And another ten minutes at the window waiting for my food. Horrible place. read more

Slowest Mcdonalds ever!!! Always give me the wrong order, and they always make you wait at the drive through speaker to then make you wait even more at the window, then they have you pull over to wait even more, then they give you the wrong order. read more

My boyfriend went to this "McDonalds" more like a zoo, to get something to eat before he went to work at like 10:30 or11:00p.m. and a worker said they were closed!! CLOSED!!! wait aren't you open 24hrs. Then she went on to say I ain't making u sh** and called him all kinds of bit***s and stuff!! The police and the general manager were called!!! The general manager said she was fired!!! The next day the girl was still working there!!! Horrible place to get food!! Customer service is obviously not one of there main points of training. Even if they are privately owned they should still put customers first. read more

If I could put zero stars I would. This location is inside a truck stop and I'm a truck driver passing through. I decided to stop here for convenience. There were two managers and 5 employees behind the counter on a Monday night at 9:30pm. I stood at the counter for 10 minutes and never got acknowledgement. All 7 were standing in front of the French fry station talking poorly about a customer who didn't have enough money. Worst part is that this has happened before. read more

If I could give this location 0 stars I would. Ever since living in Monee for the last 6 years our orders are never correct, staff is inconsistent and rude. You would think the amount of time it takes them to get your order to you that it would be right but it never is, and beverages are always flat. read more

I have been here twice, my sister lives nearby. Both times I have waited in the drive thru line for 15-20 minutes. Last time, I was using my husbands car, no air conditioning, windows down, 90 degrees out. All I asked for was a smoothie. It took 20 minutes. All the people in line ahead of me were ushered ahead to wait at the curb after 5-7 min of waiting for their food in line. I was livid. There is no reason it should take that long. When I finally got up to the window, the woman sauntered over slowly (like she had nothing pressing) and asked for my money. I gave her a long, hard stare, at least 30 seconds before I handed over my money. Then I watched her, painstakingly slowly making my smoothie and shuffle over to the window. I could have driven home and made my own after having gone to the store and getting all the ingredients in the time it took for me to get one smoothie. You better believe that's what I'll do before I ever get in line here again. read more

The only reason I go to this McD is because it is close and on the way to getting on the expressway. Everything is in place for it to be an amazing restaurant yet they fail to execute every time. I do not buy burgers here after getting very sick on one 18 months ago, but you would think drinks are easy and foolproof. Yeah, not so much. We drove through this morning to get our caffeine hit on our way to doing errands, then hopped on the expressway to get things done. When I took a drink of my Diet Coke a few miles down the road, it didn't taste good and was rather warm. We then realized that all three of our sodas were flat and watery warm. Really? I can't even expect a good soda here? For whatever reason, McD's corporate people don't do anything much about this store, despite complaints directly to them. The whole area management group should be ashamed, because they are ineffectual and they keep letting this store ruin their corporate image. It's very clear that the owner doesn't care at all since this had been a problem for years. It's no wonder the other fast food chains in town are doing great business. read more

I've noticed ALOT of new faces here so I'm patient with ordering from them because I remember my first job in fast food. I've thought the service has definitely improved as of lately. Trust me its a million times better than the ghetto one on sauk trail! I gave five stars for the major improvement and attempts to change the way their seen! read more

Worst Mc Donals ever nd has been for several years. I live 3 blocks away and keep hoping things will improve but they never do. Just bought 4 Egg Mc Muffins. They are so dried out and cold. Not edible. Service has always been very poor read more

I have not been to this location in quite some time due the establishment's record of epic fail. Last week, I went to pick up some Shamrock shakes for the kindergarten class at the local school. There was nobody in line except for me, however I waited at least 10 minutes watching the confused manager before he finally stepped up to take my order. I thought I should ask first... "Do you have Shamrock shakes?" He replied, "Yes, but the shake machine is broken." That shake machine is always broken. The restaurant is broken. read more

I hate writing reviews on fast food places, because it's fast food. However, this place sucks so bad that I can't let it go unnoticed. I have never NOT had a bad experience here. They're slow, they're rude, and just generally ignorant. On one trip, I ordered a double cheeseburger meal. Side note- I understand it isn't technically a meal (I don't think so at least), but every time I order it I get exactly what a meal entails; burger, fries, drink. Pretty simple. I ask for one here, and I get a very sharp, rude, "that's not a meal." Do I really have to spell it out for you?? I've also had them tell me, around midnight, that they are no longer serving dinner food, only breakfast, clearly as a ploy to not have to do work. Multiple times they have mentioned to people I know that their drive thru isn't open, even though they have a "24 hour drive thru" sign. I once went with friends one night through the drive thru, people inside saw us and chose not to answer us. We went inside and they said, "We're you guys the ones in the drive thru?" We told them yes, and they said, "Yeah, we just didn't feel like answering it." OH. Ok. Well I'm sorry, I forgot you were getting paid to twiddle your thumbs and sit on your ass instead of actually doing your job. My bad. Anyways, moral of the story is never ever go here. Each time I've been here my experience has always been bad, so I try to avoid this McDonald's location at all costs. My coffee maker recently broke and I figured something as simple as coffee through the drive-though would be hard to mess up. I waited at the intercom for approx. 5 minutes with No response before I decided to proceed to the window thinking the intercom system may be broken. I then waited at the window for approx. 10 minutes all the while watching the attendant interacting and serving walk-in customers fully aware of my existence. Beginning to fume, I knocked on the window and she glared over at me as if I were a bill collector and then continued on with her so called duties completely ignoring me. I thought only my kids could get away with this. Again, No communication, No "I will be with you in a moment", No "I'm sorry for the wait", just an angry glare! At this point I drove out of the drive-through with NO coffee and Zero Interaction with anyone. It crossed my mind to pull into the parking area and walk in to give the employee a deserved tongue lashing but by now I was already late for work and I knew from the sluggish vibe emitting from the employee it would have no impact. We've stopped at a lot of McDonald's on many road trips throughout the years and this one is by far, without comparison, the worst. It just goes to show that you can run a totally incompetent business and still have a customer base only because of the great brand name and location.
